In today’s video, we are taking a break from working on the property and heading over to Keuka Lake. We visit Keuka Brewing and Steuben Brewing Companies. Then we drive a short distance to Bluff of the Point Winery. All of the places we visited tonight had food and live music; including the downtown area of Hammondsport in their town square park. We had a great time, and the weather was amazing for us. It was so much fun that we’ve decided that we will be taking a break every week for a special date night of some sort so stay tune for those; plus more property updates and projects.

Us too. It was definitely a great way to enjoy the concert. I'm going to hold Bill to his promise to make me one of these. We have a lot of trees but none of them close enough together; except for ones right by the road, and who wants to lay in a hammock by a busy road. 😂

Me too, but our cop friends say that Bill would be liable for any accident caused by the theft and that insurance wouldn't pay out. Thank goodness nothing happened. It's very uncharacteristic for him to do that; much less, twice in one day. 😂😂

Ah this was great to take a break from the work. Loved this tour of the brewery's drink and eating places and also loved the little walk around the town of Hammondsport, that dog was cute ! DeeAnna dont worry about your hair it was fine but maybe keep an eye on Bill leaving the keys in the truck twice hehe. We've been to Seneca and Cayuga but never Keuka. Perfect day to be on the lake. We're going to have to visit Keuka Lake. Glad that the. craft brewery scene is expanding. Something so relaxing about having a drink when you have beautiful views. Always love when they have live music.

Gewürztraminer is my second favorite wine (behind Riesling) and I 100% agree that fruit does not belong in beer. The truth is though that fruity beers were probably more prevalent than we think back in the day. Anytime there was food about to go to waste they made it into beer apparently. May explain the invention of Milk Stouts, which are my favorite. Another nice video. Thanks for sharing.
I tried Gewurztraminer for the first time in Fredericksburg last year. It has quickly risen to the top of my favorites too. Yeah, Bill doesn't like fruity beers, but it is getting where, during the summer especially, that finding what he likes without fruit is hard. You are right about how all the other beers came about.
I love upper state NY! The one good thing about driving a 18 wheeler, I got to see places I otherwise wouldn’t. I fell in love with NY. I could live there in those beautiful rolling hills with white church steeples. Post card perfect. What a beautiful drive and great places to tie one on. lol
It really is. Most people think of the city when they think of NY, but it is so much more.

It is. Bill likes beer, but I don’t. I do like wine, ciders or messes though. Luckily, most breweries offer at least in of these options for their non-beer drinkers. 👍🏼

We really enjoy you both so very much! We love watching you going out looking for some trouble and the whole wind Blown hair and the jeep ride. We really dont take our doors off enough thats my goal next summer more windows down and doors off adventures. Omg I froze when I saw the keys in the jeep oh my goodness! I dont know if I would feel comfy doing that anywhere. So we were all caught up with most of your currrent videos and you know when I saw this one I had to watch. We really love breweries and those looked perfect. Ron loves Saisons and the atmosphere and food at both looked great and we love good music. Can't wait to get to that side of the U.S.
Saissons are Bills favorite too. Well, he also loves Kolsches and Pilsners. I am not a beer drinker, but lucky for me, they usually have wine or ciders. It’s the taste for me. I just never acquired the taste.
I never liked beer until mid 30s but luckily because of all the flavors and varieties my first favorites were actually porters like chocolate and coffee flavors just always ask for a little taste of some it's usually free now I like many of them because now they have made even more flavors. Also love Ciders and now most breweries are making seltzers too. We will help you find some more items when we meet up! LoL!!
Now that is most definitley my kind of tour! I don't think I've ever visited a brewery like this, almost looks like the perfect place to set up a little BnB, it would be a great idea for those who had a little too much at the brewery! hahah!
An BnB would be a great idea. Most of these breweries and wineries are within a few miles of each other. There are a lot of BnBs in the area, but not any right here in this location. It’d be a smart business venture.

That was a nice tour of breweries winery’s and restaurants…was Bill able to drive back home …Lol! 🤣🤪I wasn’t as lucky as Bill with my keys in the car …well it was also running and I went in a store when I went out the car was gone …🥴 Love that hamac great way to hang it . Hélène and I love to do wineries we did some in Niagara on The Lake twice and also Okanagan valley In British Colombia it was awesome . It was fun to follow you on this tour

Yes, we were very lucky. We were in there for a while too. 😂😂. The only thing I can figure is we were so far at the end of the driveway that nobody thought to check to make sure some crazy person didn’t leave their keys in the car. Man, stolen, that’s awful. That band was our favorite of the evening. Ampersand Project was their name. We actually saw them again a couple nights ago. They play all the best songs.

Well, the windows are actually off, and the top was back. I have started checking the ignition when we get out. He has never done that before. I don’t know what make him do it twice in one day. 😂😂

We loved the breweries - great to see them growing in NY state - we have the same happening in the UK - so many local breweries popping up everywhere!
And the winery looked great too - very lovingly created wines and seemed a good brand.
Olney was your first stop and wow that looked a sort of elite neighbourhood.
Would you believe that our nearest town is called Olney and it is also very well heeled.

Woohoo! Bring on the wineries!! Haha whenever we take the convertible out, I have to wear a hat. If I don't, I look like some crazy old lady when I get to our destination. And brushing out the tangles is horrible. Well I guess the questionable peeps were off somewhere else. Lucky you. Can't imagine doing that anywhere anymore. I used to leave my doors unlocked and I don't even tend to do that anymore either. Mmm woodfired pizza sounds good. Let's get one! LOL. Wow keys left in again? I don't know how you or Bill does it. His hat never flies off his head either. When I wear a hat, I have it on so tight it leaves an imprint on my head, but it still flies off. I must have one of those weird heads. LOL.

Where are you guys from? I actually live on waneta lake, which is about 10 minutes from hammondsport, live music every Thursday evening in the park during the summer
We love Hammondsport. I’m from Texas. Thats where we raised our kiddos, but Bill is from New York. Gang Mills/Presho area near Corning. We built a cabin in Addison and spend summers here. We have been to y’all’s summer music. Love it.
