I dont think they know much about most of them, hostage information is historically well kept secret in gaza, so much so that it can take many years without locating a single one. They might know something about some of them though, but i really doubt it's a big number and recent information.

Of the remaining hostages left, according to an intelligence report I read months ago, it was estimated like 40 have perished, so today I would imagine at least half of the hostages are gone and their bodies still being held captive, as their body apparently counts as a hostage, a number to the Palestinians
