This is absolutely gorgeous. I regret I only became aware of Galaxie 500 a week ago. All that lost time, listening to bad music when I could've been listening to this...! 🙂

Better late than never to find good music to fill the silence.

it's been snowing for a couple days in berlin, with cold wind from coming from the east, they used to call it "russenpeitsche", in the 50s or something, it's -14 degrees celsius at night and it's very, very dark still, nothing moves except the trees, lockdown has been on for months on end, the monotony is becoming unbearable, that's why i'm blasting this max volume on a sunday night in my room all alone, eating edamame and sushi in my bed, talking to myself. better days ahead

Die äußeren Umstände sind nach wie vor schwierig, jedoch war letzter Winter ein schöner Winter. Die Kanäle waren seit 10Jahren wieder begehbar. Hoffe du bist in ner besseren headspace. Lieber Gruß vom Dreiländereck

That photograph show the spiritual self confidence of a great band. They know they have made a genius musical breakthrough, like a game changing scientific discovery or a new form of art.

first three songs dont sound better than their studio counterpart. they dont soudn bad. they soudn just like the studio version. but with less "Punch", however, "Dont Let Our Youth Go to Waste" is a different story...

Decomposing Trees is superior to LP version due to absence of saxophone

Usually, Peel Sessions have more rawness too, there is always live from Copenhagen! There are guitar parts of that...

@@christopherwillett3224 I love the sax on the LP version. It was unexpected and adds a nice sepia to the tune

      @@christopherwillett3224 - I totally agree. I usually can't stomach any reed instruments. 🙂
