That rubber hose you zip tied to is the stock conduit for the trunk lid wiring. It pops right out on both ends and you can route your wiring through there for a cleaner (and more watertight) install. It's a pain to get wires through the rubber conduit sometimes, but that's what it's there for. I did quite a few backup camera installs on aftermarket nav head units way back before backup cameras and screens were standard equipment, and that's how we fished camera wires and tapped reverse lights for 12v activation triggers.
@@doctorsavage2547 car guys have been quoting Magnuson Moss warranty act for decades wrt car mods and voiding of warranties... I think the general consensus and understanding is it can only void relevant parts of the warranty if it can be proven that a modification actually caused failure of a warranted part. This mod is also appears to be 100% reversible. That said, it's on you how risk tolerant you are.
I would like a video of these lights after a year of use and not focus only on the aesthetic section... In the headlamps/rearlamps industry there is a series of very demanding validations of thermal cycles, humidity, etc. to ensure that the LED's withstand thermal stress during the time of use and sealing to ensure that moisture does not cause damage over time.
Lights look great! Do you notice them being very dim and barely visible during the daytime? Installed a set last week and could barely tell they were on during bright daylight.
That was great! But…after all that we don’t get to see what they look like in use? Would like to have see the brake lights in use too. Left and right signals, brake lights and hazard lights.
Hi great video thx where did you find and order these lights with the red turn signal I didn’t think Hansshow had them without an amber turn signal? I prefer the red and also is it compatible with 2018 and 2019 model 3s? Thx
Are your lights symmetrical during a light show? The right half of my light bar lights and the left doesn’t a lot of times. I’m wondering if there is a problem with mine, or if it’s just wired incorrectly for light shows.
Are the Side Indicators Amber or Red? The same product is sold in multiple sites. On one site I read that Car make- "Made in China/Germany" have got Amber while "Made in USA" have Red. I'd prefer Amber but wondering if it will fit USA Tesla.
Audi is one of the popular luxury brands in China. Glad the Chinese are giving everyone a chance to have the cool Audi E-Tron GT tail lights. Since the Audi E-tron has been out since 2020, it will be interesting to see what other features will be copied.
Can someone give me an advice please? So I just installed the cyber taillight and testing work fine but when I fully installed it only left hand side are working and right one only turn signal work! But when I take it to test on another side it’s working fine! Any advice thanks!
I would of ran the wires through the wire loom. Where you ran them looks sketch and they might eventually pinch the wires I won't be surprised if they eventually short out. I cringed the entire time watching this. Also, I'd feel more confident if the center was held by atheist 2 bolts instead of just 3M tape.
7:05 why not disconnect the rubber hose, take a bicycle braking cable, or other rigid wire, run that from top end to bottom end and tape connectors on and pull them trough to the top…
exactly. But that way nothing would cut through the cabling in a year. The way he did it, the metal will cut through the cables within a year and then he can make another video on how to solder cut through wires.
@@aidanaidan8852 Yes, but the aftermarket units and the rest of the world uses amber turn signals. Typically, the aftermarket ones don't make a separate red turn signal SKU just for the NA market.
@@cyber_hooligan maybe cutting cables and putting conector afterwards would be solution. So cables without conector should fit in . What do you think? I’m receiving my bar and it’s my idea .
Leave it to the Chinese to come up with affordable quality mods. Would like to see you spend a little more time and effort on routing the wiring properly. Other than that, good stuff!
The rear lights are the worst feature of all tesla cars, upgrading is essential. UK models have tiny indicators. Some have a tiny red dash which is invisible with dirt on lens.
Lmao, he put VLB paint tape to hold VHB tape 🤣🤣🤣...Double Side VHB = Very HIGH Bond tape. For all you slow people that give him props VLB is VERY low BOND

Finally a kit who makes the Model 3 back lights look modern... Good job
i like how you black out the rear pillars, that was the reason that i opt for black version
Well I didn't care much for the seat of your pants install methodology but the results are pretty stunning.
Looks like OEM equipment!

The LED headband is a nice touch on his head also .....
Love the look of the tail light, hate the new reverse lights as they do not appear to be very bright.

Wish the part that goes across the middle was thinner so it didn't stick out so much though. Otherwise looks pretty cool.
Congrats on your Dodge rear lights purchase. I kid, looks great
Isn't there an option where you could pick an amber signal over the red one? I know the newer Tesla Model 3 switched over to an amber signal.
Are you in SoCal? I saw these light on a White M3P driving next to mine last night on the 5. Looks amazing! I'm going to order mine soon!

Looks cool but if you need warranty replacement, the return freight cost might be nearly as much as the item itself.
I love your headlamp
Does the entire light bar light up when you brake or just the outside parts?
After it turns on does it do the "knight rider" effect when driving? Or only one time when pulling off from starbucks?
It looks great, tesla should do this as refresh standard, looks way cooler
That looks so sick!!! They make that for the Model S?? 👀👀

Isn't that tube for the wires, except the wires go inside it?🤣
