Honey, I can tell you that I have heard a lot, from a mental illness to an addiction to her losing all her money and Lisa being blackballed. There wasn't a stigma. Like a lot of people, she refused to acknowledge she had the illness and refused to take her medication and get the help she needed. The producer on ER spotted it and said he recognized the symptoms. Had she listened to him, and followed up with it, she could have gotten ahead of it.

Why do so many celebrities have mental illness or drug issues. Does the workload cause them to break down. Or is it that they agree to things that they wish they didn't and snapped?
She pretty much owned every role she played, she was perfect as Mattie Mereaux in 'Eve's Bayou' and Marti in 'Jason's Lyric' (two of my favorite movies). I'm sorry she had such a rough time with her career, and I an especially sorry about the beastiality incident if it's true, no one deserves to be treated like that!

Lisa Nicole was like the black Marilyn Monroe in the 90s, voluptuous, Gorgeous, and sexy but can act, she's still Gorgeous, I know she suffers some mental illness issues, but i commend her on trying to keep getting better, she is still so Beautiful, and these days you don't hear much about her on the news doing weird things , so i hope she's being well taken care of and continues to stay on the path of wellness because shes looking healthy.

I really loved her as an actress!!!! I was very sad when I first heard the reason for her disappearance from Hollywood. Renée Raddick was my favorite character on Ally McBeal. When I was a teenager I really admired her acting skills and she always had fun roles as a cool girlfriend. She would have been awesome on Girls Trip! I am very proud of her for gaining control over her addiction and mental health. Hollywood and the bipolar disloyalty from the media really does ruin so many lives.

Ally McBeal introduced me to her. I've always loved her hair, one of my 1st memory of an actress rocking natural hair on TV. The last thing I remembered her in the New Edition movie but never knew she suffered with her mental health back then.
When you are a sexual and desirable woman, you have to have discipline because the devil inside of people will get into you. The more sex, the more heavy spirits that torment. We have to teach this to our daughters because opening up to "partying" always leads women into mental troubles.

Discipline is something everyone needs as well as accountability, but let's not forget her case is completely different. She was suffering with a condition she was not even aware she had. We have to learn to show grace to those suffering from a mental illness, especially those in our communities. Our communities have been engulfed in trauma. Omg I am so happy to see this beauty, because I’ve been praying that she’s ok! Twice she stopped and talked to me, just randomly. Her face was familiar (she very shyly mentioned ‘Eve’s Bayou’) we just had a short conversation and she went on walking. So I googled her and read some things about her mental health that’s why I’ve often wondered if she was ok. It’s been at least 6 years since my random encounters with her and regardless of all the gossip and hate Lisa has been through a lot and I wish her well!!

I love unconditionally. People go through things and I understand that. And more people need to be able or should be able or at least willing to try to embrace these illnesses and addictions that people haven't tried to understand them.
