I remember when she had the audacity to say in concert before singing Irreplaceable "I wrote this song for all you ladies out here..." And Neyo had to call her out on TV and say, "um, I wrote that song." She's unbelievable.

Beyonce AND her team just take it (Steal) and do the exact same thing that artist did. She may be able to sing, she maybe able to perform the hell out of someone else's work but that doesn't mean she is the artist/genius that people love to push as an agenda. People love to say there is nothing new under the sun. So why do the Missy's, Janet's, and other artist we don't know continue to push the envelope and give us something different? Idk if his family won the law suit or not but that's a cut and dry case so they should have. They sued for $20 mil which is pennies to her so she should have paid it up and kept it moving bc Messy Mya's voice along with Big Freedia's set the tone for that song. What makes it even more disgusting is that the man was murdered in 2010 and you use his voice posthumously without permission from his family!! How disrespectful can you be?! I've see her five times and that was definitely the best one!!! Erykah is far more talented than Bey but unfortunately the average person values entertainment over true artistry. Erykah is her OWN stylist and doesn't have to swagger jack and plagiarize like Bey. As a writer this is how writing credit works. One song usually consists of dozens of writers sometimes in one room or from around the world. So imagine all those inspirations combined. Everyone on the song gets writing credit even for one word. As far as Ameri it’s kind of the same situation. The writers have a song that they obviously want to succeed and sometimes they have written a song with a particular artist in mind but somehow someone on the particular team of the writer or the artist say or suggest another artist based on delivery. Basically who can make my song a hit. This also happened with umbrella recorded by Rihanna but initially was presented to Mary j and her and or her team rejected it. Also the same with Toni Braxton debut on boomerang soundtrack initially written for Anita baker but the denial from Anita kicked off Toni’s solo career. They are all for lack of a better word stealing from each other. Now as far as Beyoncés writing credit again one word change permits credit also musicians don’t get paid anything to be a musician the money comes from endorsements and tours but the artist of today have learned the system and now figure a way to writing and producing credit= dollars.
As a writer that is true. I am a writer, usually by myself or with one more person. Changing one word should not count but sadly, it does.

What if someone takes your ideas or style to profit without giving you credit? You’d be pissed. She is no better than anyone else; her talent is amazing but her integrity is deplorable.
