Anne Hataway handled the upskirt photo question with such grace. She's actually amazing.
The fact that they asked her how she would act to prevent that as if it was somehow her fault that somebody actively hunting her caught a wardrobe malfunction. It's completely ridiculous.
I've been in awe of that moment for years now. That was such a swift and strong turnaround that I applauded her. What a force to be reckoned with :D
@@arthuratlas2166 THIS. Hathaway was 1000% in the right. The question was posed as if the photographer had done nothing wrong.
@@arthuratlas2166if I remember correctly, I don't think it was a wardrobe malfunction, but the photographer got down low to get that photo. Basically the paparazzi are scum.

Wow. Anne Hathaway took it like a champ, to have all that thrown at you and come back not only politely but also make a point about a serious issue, that's impressive.
Yeah but let's be real, it kinda sucks we missed out on her hot protips on how we can fit into a catsuit...
She ain't no scrub - but Matt Lauer definitely is 🤢🤮. Well played, Anne! Love her! She's so bright. ❤
I absolutely agree, Mr. Jelly Bingey.
But how will we fit into cat suits without the knowledge?
Imagine how offended Ellen would be if people asked her why she as a woman cuts her her short. What hypocrisy
I was hoping for Celine to ask the question! That would have finished the show then and there!
I don’t think so.
@@DanielDeLacey they can’t do that if they don’t want drama.. if she did say that it’ll be quite controversial.
Zac Efron has told her in an interview
@@jasmineh115 It must've been arranged lol. She has too much control over her guests for something that makes *her* the joke be so expontenous (I think I butchered that word, sorry It's my second language, don't know how to write that one).
I loved the fact Celine called out Ellen to her face.
"Do you gotta a problem with that?"
That's a defensive mother.
To be honest, I wouldn't have known that was her son and not her daughter if it wasn't specifically stated.
@@-Nickname- me neither, but Ellen has been notorious for embarrassing or shaming guests for a laugh. She's done it for years. She treats her crew way worse behind the scenes.
@@gmic56ify To be fair, embarrassing and shaming guests for laughs is common practice for talk shows. Over the years people have become bored with the idle chitchat that talk shows do and want something more. I've heard things about how her crew complains about her, but for all I know it could just be employees nitpicking things because they just want something to complain about. People today have become crybabies always looking for a target to point their finger at.
@@-Nickname- She's a Satanic witch
@@gmic56ify Exactly. The only reason her treating her crew so terribly has stayed under wraps for so long is because no one talked and this is the same way with her guests; Had they dared to talk back the way Celine did here, then it would have been for more clear to people that what Ellen did was too far and we'd probably all realised sooner that her crew got the same lack of respect.
I remember Nicky from Nicky tutorials talking about being on Ellen after her coming out as a trans woman, she talked to Mathijs van Nieuwkerken, a tv host in my and Nicky her home country. And Nicky said she felt pretty much unwelcome, she didn't get to talk to Ellen before the show at all and there was no talk on what Ellen was going to ask so Nicky had no idea what to expect and couldn't tell what she preferred wouldn't be mentioned for example. She gave an example; "Coming here (on the show of Mathijs) you said 'hi' to me before the show, and Ellen didn't do that, at all." No hello or small talk at all. Ellen even now claims she had no idea that her crew treated other people of her crew poorly (as if she had nothing to do with it).
"I can't tell if that's the question, but if it is, it's insane" kills me

Joaquin Phoenix trolling an entire room of press until his publicist is frantically gesturing for him to gtfo is pure gold.

Asking Joaquin a question and expecting a straight answer is as crazy as asking Joaquin Phoenix a question in the first place
He was hammered as well
The question like he said was one he had been asked a million times too. Before the movie even came out people were asking how he prepared for the role. Honestly, it's your job as a reporter/journalist to ask someone an interesting question that preferably hasn't been asked and answered before.
I’m in love with Daniel Radcliffes response when he was told that people don’t view him as an adult or sexual being because we view him as being a young Harry Potter… “the male population had no problem sexualizing Emma Watson immediately”. He’s so right. Why is it normal and ok for people to idolize an extremely young girl and make her a sexual icon? Gross

Now my hormones have been stable for a long time and I have a more mature opinion of her, like, personality-wise and stuff. Still, she is really gorgeous, face and body. There's nothing wrong in admitting it.
ellen is SO annoying, that thing about celine’s son was so unnecessary
Love her just the same

The one with Mila kunis had me rolling! Expert level! lol
There tends to be a fine line between being honest and being brutally TMI honest, which is how I believe these celebs are coming across. But then again, most of them are getting disrespected questions, so I don’t blame them for being brutally honest.
I don’t either. I imagine it just gets old and a bit much, doing interview after interview getting asked idiotic questions or the same one over and over. I’d probably react exactly the same
*”are you trying to fit into a cat suit?”* the most classiest comeback ever. such a queen
I completely agree
Lmao
ok
your pic if it is u ,reminds me of the street walkers in Toronto, 5 bucks to get my pipe clean and u look familiar.so thankyou
Louis Tomlinson :)
The guy asking about Scarlet Johansson's underwear is the same guy asking Anne Hathaway about her form fitting suit and "feline fitness". Who tf is this guy? And can he stop interviewing actresses? He's awful at it.
Exactly. What a creep.
You should see charlamagne tha god lmao
Yes!
how the Fuck is he even allowed to interview people? oooof
The Cat Suit question is honestly the most reasonable one to ask. Yes, it's weird to ask to incessantly. Yea, in context it makes sense. At the time, everyone was OBSESSED with Bale's workout specifics. Kinda makes sense you'd ask the costar if she is also subsisting on an apple a day
Bro Carrie's joke was freaking money. Not only a good weight-loss joke but also a Star Wars pun. As a fan of dad-jokes that had me bawling.
6:44 i LOVE HIM. HE IS SO REAL
Joaquin Phoenix, was drunk and having a bad day, he wasn’t taking anyone’s shit that night
he looked coked up haha
I love him so much they act like he’s a joke He has ALREADY ANSWERED THOSE QUESTIONSS I love that he spoke up
@@ramonenriquegonzalez-ruiz9966 It's his anxiety lol no coke.
Hell he asked if they got food etc
He wasn't on drugs, he has just grown up in that industry that trivialized life to the point that his brother died. Then he had time to sit back as folks took pot shots about them and for a while he was called the "TALENTLESS BROTHER " but look now they rave about his skills. So really why put up with bullshit if you don't want or NEED to.
These journalists are so unprofessional and disrespectful.
I think that you need that personality in order to be in that business. You need to be able to be unfazed when epic fails occur.
I think "journalist" is an overstatement lol
@@jasonito23 wtf? Someone who is professional does his best to NOT fail. And whatever your profession is, you don't have the right to be disrispectful to others.
because the bar is set really low for entertainment journalist.
Especially the guy that talked to Jonah Hill... mad disrespectful
Jim Carrey nailed it as did Joan Rivers, I've always just loved her. And Tom Hardy, well he's Tom Hardy.
I have never seen much of Rhianna in terms of interviews but I like her a bit more now! After watching her responses in these! lol.
Anne's response to that weirdo picking at her body was perfect. He's also the creep that asked Scarlett Johanson about her undergarments.
I noticed that too. He is a creepy old man.
Sisters can’t catch a break!
It was fantastic to see Anne turn the tables on him and ask him "Are you trying to get into shape? Are you trying to fit into a cat suit?"
Anybody know the name of that interviewer?
He's been in so many clips asking women weird questions >
"the male population had no problem with sexualizing Emma Watson immediately" BROOOOOOOOOOO!!!
While true, I don't think it's only the male population. So many womens magazines etc. reduced her to just her body as well. This is an issue caused by all of society.
@@KityKatKiller that is still the male gaze
That was the best comeback in history he is so right and shame on them Daniel is handsome af
@@KityKatKiller you realize that the people writing and producing the content that is shown in the magazines can be men?? Yes its societies fault but men induced it wayyy more.
@David Stanford what
"I don't find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality"
brilliant
Joaquins a different breed. He captivates me everytime I see him. and hes so sassy and adorable here, "do you guys have food?"
Anne Hathaway is the most well-spoken and elegant celebrity I've seen. The way she presents herself makes her ten times more gorgeous than she already is. She's such an inspiration

Wow, what a mega B question 😯 Celine was definitely offended.
I honestly expected her to slap Ellen at one point.
Her tone of voice definitely indicated that lol
@Sam Aden yes of course!
But what does that have to do with this comment
Mad respect for this man. ❤️☮️🌿
hmmmm i feel like i know exactly what the dude asking jonah was on about and i feel like the question is actually very smart if u manage to put ur ego down and deconstruct the whole dynamic. like what hes really asking is whether people still push him into a role that he clearly (in this case physically) no longer plays, and how being more conventionally attractive changes the way people view you. which is something i havent heard many figures talk about publicly.
"Oh, are you trying to fit in a catsuit?" LOL!
Annie Hathaway FTW 🙌🏼
That's brilliant and she asked in such a gleeful, demurely conspiratorial way like she just challenged him to a pillow fight at a sleepover with Sandra Dee.
@@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 it reminded me of when she looks at bruce wayne and says "oops"
It’s so fucking demeaning it’s amazing she just flipped the dynamic around instantly
"I'm sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants" Anne Hathaway is truly an inspiration

I met "Annie" once on a hiking trail in LA. I was with my kid and she was with her dog. She was super sweet and friendly. Down to earth and very chill. Since then I have had nothing but respect for her
I cant believe he asked her what her "lesson learned" was smh
Wow evil is now cultural! What stupid statements come from an entitled girl
7:35 hands down the most honest sounding answer.
The Jim Carrie one was hilarious
Jim Carrey clearly felt disrespected by her question. "Is it true you're wandering the streets for a girlfriend?" Like he's a lost fucking dog with no meaning unless he's in a partnership.
yeah wtf was that phrasing
Well considering his response, he sounds like he’s been off his psych meds, wandering the streets doing just that, in between going up to people and telling them that they don’t exist, but he smells a certain fragrance around them, as he walks around them in circles and can’t stand still and be mature, and acting like a condescending hipster who thinks he’s better than you and knows better than you and is above the rest of the Hollywood elite, despite him being one of them, and making movies for a simple paycheck, not because they “believe in the art” or whatever nonsensical hipster garbage he wants to spew.
y’all sound so dumb🤣 he’s just not a bot jim carrey isn’t even capable of feeling these surface level emotions cuz his souls so evolved he’s just not playing the gaaaaame shiiiiii whym i even hereeee howd i get herrreeee i don’t percieeeeve yalllll

My favourite response of all of them!
That interviewer was so weird. He appeared in this video several times and he doesn't have the self-awareness to see that the celebrities were getting weirded out. He kept plugging in those questions very persistently. Does anybody know who that dude is?
