The TST for technical roles were removed late last year. It's just the cognitive test and you need to reach a specific score for job role selected. If don't get that specific score candidate needs to do a retake of that cognitive test.
Really? I’ve been told to revise for tst from my recruiter
I got told this by Sgt at my regiment when I went to visit also

The british army has a zero tolerance on drug use, if you apply, you may get in however they do compulsory drug test (cdt) and you will be unfit for army service if any unexplained drugs are found in your system.
So don't do drugs, let it clear from your system before applying for any service and do not take them if you get in.

Yes mate same hear, I thought it would go through in few days but took almost 3 weeks. Got my AC on 17th, wish me luck lol
Same mate, Go to your local careers office or talk to your recruiter to see if they can print one off so you can hand your form off personally.

So my son went lichfield and passed everything but they mentioned he needs glasses and needs to get a form signed from opticians witch is booked, his prescription is -1.25. Does anyone know if this will affect him? I appreciate any advice
Congratulations to him, I wouldn’t have thought so, I know lads who turned up to training and got told they needed glasses and they were issued them by the army
@CombatReadyHQ thank you, we're confused has they said he had passed but had a defferal on his portal for his right eye and needed a form signed from the opticians. He's worked so hard trying to getting in and he's been my biggest support so I'm now his

@CombatReadyHQ just wanted to give a update, my son got the form signed from the opticians at a cost tho, it's took about a month for the army to update but he's passed everything now and he's had the dates for him to join September I'm happy for him, I have 2 sons joining September
