    Upgrade For 2011-2017 Mustang GT
Upgrade your 2011-2017 Mustang GT with a 2018-2019 Mustang 5.0L intake manifold from Ford! Your stock intake manifold for your 2011-2017 Mustang was built for stock performance and is restrictive. This 2018-2019 Mustang 5.0L intake manifold is made to replace your stock manifold and give you better performance! With a bolt on application, this intake allows you to instantly gain more horsepower and increase your air intake flow. IRMC deletes are required to allow your intake valves to stay open, delete the actuators and sensors for a plug and play installation!
Direct Replacement For 2018-2019 Mustang 5.0L
This factory replacement intake manifold is a great upgrade for 11-17 Mustang 5.0L, but is the direct replacement for 2018-2019 Mustang GT and Bullitt. If you need a new manifold on your 2018, this is just what you need to make the fix.
    Note
    -Requires Custom Tune
    -Requires IMRC Deletes MMR-478911
-Modification To Vacuum and Evap System Is Required
-If you have a cold air intake for your 2011-2017, the PMAS intake adapter silicone couple can be used to adapt your 2011-2017 cold air intake to the angle of the 2018 intake manifold. LRS-400352
    Application
    - Fits 2011-2017 Mustang 5.0L (with modifications)
    - Direct Replacement For 2018-2019 Mustang 5.0L Bullitt & GT

      @177SCmaro Před 3 lety

On a stock engine porting is probably worth 5-10 hp on top of the gains from the manifold, itself. You'd see much bigger gains with cams, headers, boost, ect.

Too many people talking about the "tune" if its an auto it will need it to reach the rpms this manifold is good for. Redline isnt high enough the 18 manifold will pull to 7500 or 8000 rpm, thats where power comes from.
People compare dyno number to eachother on totally different dynos, which is hillarious. Look at the curves not numbers, and if the dont cross over at 5200 ish dont believe anything.
Any four stroke motor the power is all in the heads and how much they can flow at higher rpms. Cams, intakes and to a much smaller extent exhaust change where the engine makes power. The only real way to make more power is either compression forced induction, fuel or more rpms.
Agressive cams and intakes with short runners push the power higher in the rpm range, more rpms and torque higher in the revs=more power. It may not be faster off the line with stock gearing, but geared for the powerband it will be faster.
Like some guy like me with an f150 with 35s, at 3.73 shes going to feel slower from a roll or stop and may even hit a certain point where it runs through the available rpm if the redline is stock too fast to see benefits. But throw some 4.56 gears and raise the rpm limit from 6000 to 7500 its going5 to be much quicker from a stop as well as from a roll at cruising speed.
Cars and trucks are way overgeared with 2-4 overdrive gears these days for epa and cafe bullcrap. The viper had 400hp, did nearly 200mph and could run to sixty in the low 4 second range with decent traction. A pickup these days has 400hp but feels gutless and slow when it should cook the tires all the way up to 60 due to gearing neutering as well as high ass gear ratios that often cause the car to lug when accelerating if it doesnt downshit cause its running at 1600rpm and as lean as possible

the 18 manifold pushes more power through the upper rpm, the stock manifold does not do this as it tops out power at 6500 rpm. Take it from someone who did the swap onto their s197, the car pulls like a frieght train after 6600 rpm and all the way through until around 7400 or so.

first a 2011-2012 will not make 373-380rwhp stock. a 2013-2014 will probably be just under those numbers. they have low dyno numbers because they use the lowest octane for the base line to make the upgrade with a tune that much higher with 93 octane/

@@xxdrxschnitzelxx131 everyone is agreeing that the tune did 99% percent of the job. Come on dude they're selling yall advertise numbers same with cold air intakes in n/a cars they're useless unless you're running boost same with the manifolds. The best n/a manifold is the cobra jet n/a setups and the rest are irrelevant. Also a manifold isn't going to net you 440whp that's with other bolt ons . Also the gen1 coyote manifold is more than enough , you wont see any gains until 7400-7800 which isn't a good idea if you dont have a built sleeve and heads. If you believe they're alot better than the stock gen1 for street application or even drag application you're delusional. This is why they make so much money off u guys to tamper with the dyno numbers to make it seem like it's worth the 400$ in which it's not at all same with those so called open element cai air intakes in which they're short ram intakes since it's not sucking in cool air it only gives u the effect of feeling faster because of quicker throttle response and noise and their little dyno numbers if u get a tune with the stock air box itll be 1-2 hp lower than a short ram intake which again isn't worth the 300 bucks. Samething can be said about the 18 manifolds. The tune is what you're feeling. You can throw full exhaust on the but if you dont tune it what gain are you going to get 0.
