Thanks for posting Trina scenes lmmn. This looks like a possible story of Heather kidnapping Ace in the future. GH has a poor history of how it treats POC actors and its absence of POC writers, so it doesnt get my support anymore. I do support the actors though. The Trinas were useful in helping launch NAC'S career, but they deserve so much more then being used ( often as a 3rd wheel in a romantic relationship full of 2 1/2 years of angst with a few scenes " together at the end) ( The Haunted Star, trial, NYC and Paris were good and SPRINA had a chance to shine❤) I enjoy going back and watching the SPRINA scenes. There is so much missed potential, but GH has a history of missed potential. It's a pleasure to see Stella, Jordan and TJ in scenes with Trina. Taggert is still missed. No Portia scenes with Trina is weird. The musical chairs of the GH actors changing jobs another " comedy".
It's hard not to notice that since Donnell's/Curtis's awkwardly written storyline wrapped up on GH that most of the Ashford family is on the back burner and it's really obvious that storyline was written to try to prop up Donnell/Curtis but TJ who is going to be a father barely even gets any screen time with Molly or anyone else and once things stopped being all about Donnell/Curtis the Ashford family went into the background.
It is DISAPPOINTING that the WRITERS don't want to show TRINA being encouraged by STELLA to join a SUPPORT GROUP for YOUNGER ADULTS GRIEVING THE LOSS OF A ROMANTIC PARTNER - I think that it would be interesting to dramatize because I think that sometimes we may think that YOUNGER ADULTS are more RESILIENT in working through their GRIEF than THEY really are and WE may believe it's easier for them to just MOVE ON -when it may be harder for them than we think. The BEAUTY of the TRINA and SPENCER SL was that instead of having the CHARACTERS "act on hormones- "THE SLOW BURN" allowed them to connect EMOTIONALLY and SPIRITUALLY before CONSUMMATING THEIR RELATIONSHIP PHYSICALLY. TO ME, TO HAVE TRINA move on to the "NEXT HUNK" would INVALIDATE what made "SPRINA" Special. Hi Everyone: Thank you LMMN for the recap: In my opinion this whole scene made nooo sense Why would Jordan go to Trina and talk to Truna about this when Porchia had this same conversation with Laura, Kevin in Alexia? I would think that Porchia on or off screen would of already had a conversation about what Laura was thinking about doing. Also Jordan was low key caping for Laura during the conversation in my opinion. Lastly, it has been 14 weeks since Trina has had scenes with Portia and longer for she and Marshall.
I wondered about Jordan and Trina. It does not make any sense at all. Jordon arrested Trina when Esme framed Trina, also Molly told her to take a plea deal. Trina go with your gut feelings about all of them.

If Spencer Cassadine was recast then what would happen is that the Spencer Cassadine recast would be written completely differently than NAC's version of Spencer Cassadine. After reading NAC's Goodbye To GH Post, I think that there's no reason for NAC to say that he's open to returning to GH and there's no reason for NAC to be in contact with Frank Valentini about Spencer Cassadine.

You have to ask yourself why aren't the powers that be recasting Spencer Cassadine now when they can? Honestly I was going to happen because she's not scheduled to be on any time this week none of the upcoming spoilers have Trina on this week it says on Thursday spoilers Geo supposed to make a move so I don't see no real romance coming short-term or long-term when she still has to Spencer on the brain😢😢

GH doesn't know how to write for the YA cast. They can't decide if they want to write them like they are 15 or 30. It's been the problem the whole time since I started watching GH in 2023. Tabyana's version of Trina should have always had a storyline that had nothing to do with Spencer. That way once Spencer was "away", she would have continued on with her current story. I have come to understand this is a Sprina channel and I'm in the minority here. My comment may get deleted because I know I am in the minority here. Here goes: I am a bigger fan of the individual characters over the Sprina relationship. There...I said it! Let me explain. The relationship was not a problem for me. They are cute together. YET, I saw the writing on the wall a year ago and when I said some things people got upset with me. I said they need individual storylines because I knew what was going to happen. At all times...even for popular couples - the relationship CAN NOT be the only focus to keep them onscreen. Trina has not had a story since Greenland (other than the back and forth with Curtis paternity). Greenland was a year ago. Spencer did not have a story after Greenland either. Nik/Ace started out as a Spencer story, but became Esme's story. It an ensemble cast so that's how it works. They flip flop. The issue is they never again gave a story to Spencer or Trina. They instead chose to give them a little time as a couple and that was supposed to suffice. That was a bad decision for both characters. I am not in the fandom, but "Sprina" doesn't bother me. I am just a bigger fan of Spencer as an individual and Trina as an individual so I care more about what is best for the individual characters. I am not married to the actors either. I loved NAC, but Spencer will continue with or without him. I am waiting on a recast. That's where I know I differ from many. I know Sprina fans enjoyed those last few months of 2023 - but it was a bad decision for the actors and characters. Yes, they needed to give them time as a couple - that's not what I meant. What I did mean is that it could have been mixed in with individual stories for them and it wasn't. They need another POC in the YA cast honestly...but anyway. The YA cast should be causing havoc, having fun, solving mysteries, having new experiences...not dealing with babies....their parent's drama, etc. I know this isn't popular to say on this channel but Relationships are fine...but not interested in seeing marriage and babies for anyone under 24. Trina and Joss are 21, 22...YOUNG. The show should write them accordingly. Gio does fit in with Joss and Trina because they need to build a friend group anyway. The actor is 19 but I believe the character is 20 or 21. He can pass for 20 or 21. He is too old for the actual teen group because they are like 15 and 16 in real life. Really, GH messed up by SORAS everybody...so really there is no one 18-20 on the show. Therefore, puts Gio in an odd position. If they hadn't done the recent SORAS, that whole group should be like 20 anyway. Instead Joss and Trina are now 21 and 22. They SORAS Spencer up to 23. That told me a lot. They got big plans for whenever Spencer comes back. The irony.
The powers that be soared up Spencer Cassadine to pair him up with Trina and NAC knew that and fully supported Spencer and Trina's relationship. It is obvious that new writer Elizabeth Korte is only concerned about Joss and Dex and that is because Elizabeth Korte is known to be a Carly fan and it shows in the writing. GH has plenty people of color who aren't given much to do and look at TJ. TJ is going to be a father, but that storyline is really all about Molly and Kristina, and we barely see TJ or hear much about TJ's point of view. GH has plenty of young people who aren't given much to do without adding in Gio. I think that Gio looks like he's barely 18 and too young for Trina, and Gio would have been better off paired with someone else and better off with Jake and Charlotte's age group. Tabyana's contract is expiring early next year and I expect Spencer to return to GH next year briefly when Tabyana leaves GH and I wonder why Spencer Cassadine wasn't recast when he easily could have been by now. I also think of how much potential was wasted with Spencer and Trina together and separately and let's put it this way, where was the push for a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Tabyana during the last two years? Tabyana deserves more credit for her talent and for bringing in new viewers who don't normally watch soap operas and bringing back people who haven't watched GH for awhile. I have thought for awhile that Tabyana will be leaving GH especially given how Tabyana hasn't been given much to do when I would have expected to see Trina on screen grieving Spencer but instead of that she went missing in action for almost a month with no explanation from anyone involved with GH and that told me that the powers that be really struggle with Trina and her feelings and her point of view and she deserves better than that. We saw Joss grieving for Oscar and when Liz lost Lucky we saw her grief and Robin on-screen grieving for Stone. There are people of color who are writing for GH currently and it shows. I think that it was telling that as soon as Curtis could walk again that the Ashford family was for the most part put on the back burner. I don't even think that the powers that be were ever all that interested in Curtis and his awkwardly written storyline because it was all over the place. I know that Donnell asked for a family for Curtis but he's now married to the insufferable Portia and Curtis being used to erase Taggert from GH and from Trina's life as much as possible wasn't going to help Curtis and so I always say be careful what you ask for on a soap opera because what Donnell asked for was used against him to the point where I really don't want to see Curtis in another lead storyline and that wasn't the original intent when Donnell asked for a family for Curtis. I think that Tabyana will be leaving GH when her contract expires early next year and the writing has been on the wall already for months and I think that NAC already knows that Tabyana won't be staying past her current contract with GH. I think that Gio is too young for Trina and nothing more than a rebound for Trina and I think that Spencer will eventually return to GH before Tabyana leaves GH next year briefly to fight for Trina.

We saw Joss grieving for Oscar and when Liz lost Lucky we saw her grief and Robin on-screen grieving for Stone. There are people of color who are writing for GH currently and it shows. I think that it was telling that as soon as Curtis could walk again that the Ashford family was for the most part put on the back burner. I don't even think that the powers that be were ever all that interested in Curtis and his awkwardly written storyline because it was all over the place. I know that Donnell asked for a family for Curtis but he's now married to the insufferable Portia and Curtis being used to erase Taggert from GH and from Trina's life as much as possible wasn't going to help Curtis and so I always say be careful what you ask for on a soap opera because what Donnell asked for was used against him to the point where I really don't want to see Curtis in another lead storyline and that wasn't the original intent when Donnell asked for a family for Curtis. I think that Tabyana will be leaving GH when her contract expires early next year and the writing has been on the wall already for months and I think that NAC already knows that Tabyana won't be staying past her current contract with GH. I think that Gio is too young for Trina and nothing more than a rebound for Trina and I think that Spencer will eventually return to GH before Tabyana leaves GH next year briefly to fight for Trina.
