Bath Filling (From Outside) 1 Hour! (ASMR / Relaxation)

- My previous bath filling videos were quite popular, so I decided to record some new versions. Everyone enjoys the sound of the water running from inside the bathroom, but as a child I always particularly loved the sound of the bath filling up when I was tucked up in bed in the next room, or just outside the bathroom door, with the door closed! The slightly muffled sound coming through the wall was just so cosy and relaxing! I have tried to recreate that sound in this video.
All video footage and sound files used to create this video were recorded by me. I never use any content belonging to other people to create my videos.

#SleepSounds #BathFilling - Zábava
When I was @ 3 or 4 years old (I am 70 now) on bath night my mom used to start my bath water running slowly and leave me in the bathroom (with the door open) while the water slowly warmed up and filled the tub. I would drape a towel over my head like a cloak and felt like it gave me magical power so no one could see me. I remember the tingles I got even at that early age. Sometimes I would sit on the linen closet floor with the door open on a crack and watch the tub slowly fill and just feel so warm and secure surrounded by this awesome sound. Your recordings have soothed and warmed me again and again and it’s wonderful to know that so many others feel the same. Thanks.
Did anyone use to lay on a mat or something and lean against the bath while it was running and just sit there getting goosebumps
I did exactly this. Wrapped in a bath towel. I wish I could do it now but my house doesn’t have a bathtub (it was converted into a walk-in shower)😢
@@kristenhickman4466 but same I’m to fat for it now but I used to sit in a towel and just sit there and fall asleep while I got goosebumps and a tingle down my spine
Haha this is nuts - same exact thing I used to do, thought only I did that 😂
Every Single time, childhood was great at this moments😮🥲🥰
My parents’ closet was actually in the master bathroom when I was a kid, so I used to lay in there when the bath was running. Idk why but it always made me feel super relaxed and safe.
To this day I’m not completely sure what it was but whenever someone in my house ran a bath the sound created by the water going through the pipes was the most relaxing sound I ever heard. I still remember as a kid being woken up at around 6am by someone filling up the bath and immediately getting goosebumps because of it. These videos are probably the closest I’ll get to hearing that sound again so for that I’m forever grateful.
You and me both will miss that relaxing sensation
@@jamesyboy4918 lol water sounds never change though... u can still get that same feeling
@Logan Frey that was so relatable
Brings back happy memories of mom's nightly bath and feeling safe and loved.
likewise!
Do you still listen 9 years later? 😊
The Peaceful sound of water running used to get rid of my headaches almost instantly.
It's quite funny, as a young child, I thought I was the only weirdo who liked listening to showers. Figured out a few years ago how wrong I was. The two most relaxing things are the sound of a shower and a storm(Heavy Rain & Wind, Crackling Thunder, and Flashy Lightning.....I love the whole thing.)
Nope, there are a bunch of us “weirdos” lol! I love this bath community we’ve found. As I child I was convinced I was the only one who loved laying on the floor listening to the bathtub or shower. Pure bliss and awesome tingles.
From outside?! This guy fucking gets it.
My bedroom as a kid was opposite the bathroom door on the landing. Whenever someone took a bath I would go and lay down on the landing carpet outside the door and feel the warmth of the pipes through the floor as I lay there. Listening to the sound of the bath filling and wishing the sound to never end. Chills on my body but the warmth from the carpet heated by the water pipes. I never forget those times and it still stay with me today.
Isn’t it the best memory ever? I loved my bathtub experiences as a child. Sometimes as an adult I would try to recreate them. Pure bliss.
I commented something more than 3 years ago about how much I watch this and here I still am, 20 years old. I’ve been listening to this exact video for around 6 years now. As I get older, especially because I am truly entering the real world now, I think back to the days I was very young and sitting outside the bathroom door as my mom bathed my younger brother just so I could here this sound. I still use it this day as a sleep aid, but more importantly I put this on when I’m grinding out an essay or project. This sound never gets old to me and is truly my favourite for any need of relaxation.
Romans 10:9 = Eternal life++
Trust me, in another 20 years you will still feel this way. I’m glad you find such joy in our special community of bath lovers. It is pure bliss.
This sound transports me back to my childhood, snuggled in bed, safe, warm and cozy. The youngest of 5 siblings, I would be lulled to sleep as each of the big kids ran a bath before bed. Listening to the water gently muffled by the door gives me wave after shivery wave of hapiness. I listen to this and it not only helps me fall asleep quickly, but it also instantly puts me into a deep state of relaxation and calm. Thank you for this, it's my favorite one by far!
It's funny how we all have similar experiences with bath sounds!
Mine was laying on the landing upstairs outside the bathroom while my mum ran the bath, it was always warm because our heating pipes go under the floor near the door.
Even now at 22 I take my pillow in with me sometimes and just lay on the floor!!
Weird how a bath noise has so much memory.
Wow exactly the same as me
Same hear I remember the dark hallway and the only light was coming from underneath the bathroom door
So true....pillow and blanket in the dark hallway, with just enough light coming out underneath the door...and I’ll take bath running or the shower! The best soothing sound is any water running...
I'm 33 and I still lie on landing listening to the bath fill, especially if I'm poorly, it's the most relaxing sound ever.
If I had a tub, I would do what I did as a child, which was to lay next to it and find perfect bliss. I am glad you can still do this.
I used to be tired in the morning for school and would take a bath in the morning, so while my mom was either fixing her coffee or getting my school clothes ready for me and I would always get a towel and cover up on the floor beside the bath while it was running. Then I would fall asleep and be woken up by my mom telling me to wake up and get in the bath.
Finally. I can loop it. The feeling I get just as the door closes is not something I can put into words.
Thank you, now I don't have to wait till another family member wants a bath anymore.
Zachary woodward growing up I lived in an old house that didn't have a shower so every night I was able to fall asleep to running bath water since my room was right next to the bathroom. I miss those days lol
i still do cus the sound in real life is slightly better but this video is amazing like it’s the best video i’ve ever gotten that’s most similar to the sound
Are you still listening 9 years later? 😊
This reminds me of my childhood. The room i had was right next to the washroom, and everynight my brothers and sisters would take showers and i would fall asleep to the noises.
I really enjoy listening to this after a night of drinking. It takes me back to the days of being a baby.
Since I was a kid , I gets goosebumps while listening to this and I reach a high level of concentration and relaxation . thank you for this .
Every morning of my youth my sister would beat me to the bathroom for first shower or bath. I would end up laying on the floor wrapped in a blanket sleeping waiting for my turn. 30 years later, the sound of the tub or shower running behind a closed door instantly makes me sleepy.
Nothing better than wrapping up next to the tub. This feeling never goes away does it. I’m so thankful because this provides such peace and calm.
my mom use to wake us up summer mornings so when she left her bed to get ready for work we would take her place with the dogs. as she got ready i’d fall back asleep to this sound. the nostalgia
When I was a child, I use to sit near the tube while it was filling. I use to wait until my hands were splashed with the drops and I waited until my body was full of goosebumps. Then, I’ve covered me with my blanket. I use to love this sensation!!! Still do it!!! Sorry about my english...
Isn’t it the most amazing feeling ever? Nothing compares. Be well my friend.
@@BathtubLovingGuy Sometimes, I wish someone in my family shared this feeling, but they didn't. Now I do it with my daughter and my dachshund Coco!!!God bless you!!!👩👧🐶🙌🏻
yes yes, this one also reminds me of a child in the next room tucked in bed with the covers over my head listening to this. It's a very comforting feeling. As I listen to this now I instantly feel a sense of peace come over me. Thank you so very much for posting these.
***** I thought I was the only one that did that with the covers over my head! It's as if we were creating a cosy little cocoon under there or something! Glad to hear there are others out there who love this sound as much as I do.
+SereneandPeaceful I used to hide behind the shower curtains when my parents showered or ran me a bath and listen to the sound of the water, ever since i can't get enough of this sound, it just calms me right down.
+SoundsToBlowYourMind I do the covers thing too!
I used to do the same thing. I remember we were staying at a friends house on holiday, as a kid, and the bed was right up against the bathroom wall. I never forget covering myself in the duvet and listening to the bath water. Ever since I've been hooked on the sound.
love it
Childhood memories. The sound perfect.
Mike, you still listening 8 years later? 😊
Goosebumps/goosepimples whatever the word is, I had this sound as a child of bath taps running in the next room/ bathroom.
I love reading all the details from others bathtub journeys. It’s particularly interesting that so many of us liked being wrapped in a towel after taking our clothes off. It was an important part of the ritual. As much about feeling the softness as experiencing the warmth. It’s almost like being swaddled as a baby. I once had a weighted blanket on my bed as an adult and it gave me such a safe and secure feeling, which is its intent. Or sometimes you put a robe over your body as you lay on a towel or soft bath mat. I notice others, like me, would sometimes place a rag over your face to experience the darkness while listening to the water. For me I think it was also to help me focus better. I could really allow all my other senses to take over as the magic was happening around me. I usually curled up in a fetal position to get that extra cozy feeling. Did you? It’s funny that I often sleep in a fetal position as well. Feels so safe and warm.
I felt so good snuggled up next to the tub listening only to the sound of water coming out and hitting the tub. There was a special echoing and muffled sound this way. It may even be similar sound to those who listened on the other side of a wall when a family member took a bath. And come to think of it, I liked feeling the cold porcelain against my face in contrast to the warmth of the towel around me. We seem to love the array of feelings we get using our senses. Anyway, It was as if I was in my own world feeling safe and at peace with everything. Every so often, water drops would hit my skin and give me goosebumps and tingles. I was never so happy. And, wondering if anyone ever reached out their hand to touch the cool tile floor to experience that sensation. Not sure why I did that unless it was just to add another layer of feeling something to the experience. Would be curious to know what you think. Also, I liked to reach in the tub sometimes and feel the warm water against my skin. I did that because I love the feel of water almost as much as the sound.
Then sometimes I would get in the tub at the end and feel the warm water envelop my body, giving me more goosebumps. Most of all I didn’t want the sound to end. I’m so grateful we have ASMR video recordings now so we can go to sleep experiencing the watery wonders of our childhood.
All of your stories bring me much happiness and tingles. Thank you for sharing and for being one of the water babies in this great community. Would you consider sharing one of your bath stories? Even if it’s very similar it would be nice to hear your version. Be well. 😊
I kinda feel all of what you express while being closer to water. I also share the same feeling while hearing the bathtub being filled, I use small water bucket to add this extra pouring sounds on the plastic surface, it gives me goosebumps and tingling especially if I sit at the other end of the tub while water drops splashes on my knees and I am covering my head with towel. It transfers me way back to my childhood. the echo, random water music takes me to different world where I would live for the rest of my life closer to water sounds. I think this is deeply connected to our early childhoods and I am happy that other people share the same experience with water sounds, indeed water is life.🤗
@@nashmo4610 wow! Great story. Thank you for sharing. I felt the things you described and it was nice. Never thought about a water bucket. Isn’t it wonderful that we have so many creative ways to enjoy the sight, feeling, and sound of water? It is very healing. I want to live in a world of magic and water.
Half these views are from me, I just love this one most nights.

Great video! When I was a kid late at night when someone was taking a shower I would lay in front of the door on the ground and just listen to the water run until they got out.
I would fall sleep to it

@@BathtubLovingGuy Every once in a while I'll come back to it. :)
I found this video back in late 2015/early 2016. Looking back on how long it’s been since I found this video I kid you not I have probably listened to it while going to bed over 400 times. Holy shit that sounds weird, but it may be true.
Hey Cole, have you listened to this another 400 times 6 years later? 😊
I always thought I was the only one in love with this sound! So glad I found this video.
My room was always next to the bathroom aswell and as a little kid, just laying in bed with your head covered and against the wall is just the best sound ever!
Sometimes I would even go into the bathroom with the person taking the shower/bath and just cover myself in towels and just listen on the warm tiles of the bathroom floor.
psst... I still do that although I'm too old to lie on the floor so I sit on the closed toilet.
I also still sit on the bathroom floor, cover it in nice clean rugs, myself in towels & pillows. Turn the lights low and get ur chills, thrills on.
My cousin and I would take turns laying next to the shower so we could experience this feeling. I’m so glad he loved long showers. It was magical.
@@jaemebereal8476I love that you still do that. I would if I had a tub. There is nothing more magical. So glad there are others out there who understand.
As a child i loved That sound, my mother put me in a towel After Bath and it was warm and lovely, Thank u !
my mum and dad would take showers for work, and my bed is right behind the wall that has the shower so id just lay in bed while listening to it.
emily same here
I Bluetooth my boose speaker to my phone. Get under the blankets, get those good goosebumps and fall asleep. Great sound job here 🙌
Until 4 years ago when i was 13 i always loved running the faucet while having my eyes closed. It made me forget about everything else that bothered me and it was like i was living in my own special world where i could relax and feel free of any disturbances. We all care mostly about everyday problems, but if we could just take a break to relax then we would understand how tiny and insignificant these problems are.
cool comment. for me was video gaming
alexandros karagiannis i used to think i was weird for loving the sound of a bath or shower running from outside the room, but i also used to love it from inside the room too.
I remember when i was a kid my mum would run me a bath and i would put a towel over my head and close my eyes while i waited. So relaxing!

years ago i recorded the bath as it filled, chopped it looped and EQed so it would be just like this and i could listen on the bus or anytime. so glad im not alone
Great story, Alex. You still listening 7 years later? 😊
@@BathtubLovingGuy lol pretty much every day
LOVE this! When I was a little girl, my daddy would come home very late from the family restaurant/bar and I'd hear him run a bath (he hated secondhand smoke on his skin, back when all places allowed smoking). It would always soothe me to know that he was safely home and the bath water sound (like this) was so relaxing. I wish he was still alive to tell him about that and this video. I know this is getting fancy, but....have you thought about adding a shorter one like this, where the water shuts off and we can hear the movements of a person in the water? It would mainly be the sound the bathwater makes as the body moves within the tub as a person washes...with water wringing from a washcloth? That was the sound that followed my father's bath filling. Then there was the draining sound. :)
Leanne Mo same thing with me, loved sitting in my bunk bed and my mom running the tub in the next room feeling safe and soothed
I became emotional while reading your comment. Nice memories. s2
What a wonderful memory. Thank you for sharing it with us. Bath lovers are very special and kind humans. 😊
I remember that sometimes I would lay down against the wall in my room that was against the bathroom and listen to the sound of shower running. The wall so happened to be where my door was so me curled up in a blanket falling asleep was not the best thing as someone opening the door onto my sleeping body to check on me kinda hurt. Still did it though, the sound of water running like that is like a moth to a flame for me.
Beautiful idea, a different feeling from the outdoor, more reverb, soft and spacious sound. Thanks !
Hey Floxit. You still listening to the bath sounds 8 years later? 😊
The bit where the door closes” that’s it for me ! 😁
That is a fun experience! This video is awesome. 😊
OMG! I thought I was the only strange kid that would turn on the bath water (whirlpool, washing machine) close my eyes, put my ear against the rumbling porcelain, then float away on a gurgling brook. I’d get this delicious tingling all over my skin but my mind stayed safe in a warm blanket.
I may b repeating myself, but are u aware of any studies made on the impact of water, running, in tubs, nature, etc on people’s relaxation?
You are not alone.....there's lots of us out here that feel like you do.
i always feel the exact same way. after the research i did i believe this sound reminds us of being in the womb with our mothers. obviously that sounds hard to remember that long ago but thats what the research i read told me lol
@@CHASEMCLEAN I feel like it’s deeper, more spiritual than, “it’s the womb”, somehow more than anyones’ guess.

The beginning where you close the door gives me the most tingles I've ever experienced. Just the way the sound changes from clear to slightly muffled is amazing. I keep replaying it lol thank you for uploading this (:
You are welcome! When you say "tingles" do you mean ASMR tingles (in your head / scalp) or is it more like "frisson" which means chills / goosebumps / shivers up and down your spine ? You have also given me an idea for a new video!
SoundsToBlowYourMind Both kinds actually. It starts in my head and then my whole body gets chills. A new video sounds exciting! I shall look forward to it (:

Hi GodZi! You still listening to this 9 years later? It’s an awesome vid. 😊
I've always wondered if there's an evolutionary explanation for this. I heard somewhere that staying close to a running stream of water can make it harder for animals to follow your scent. I wonder if our ancestors were evolved to relax/sleep near rivers/waterfalls for this reason. Just a thought.
Wrigggy not really. I think it comes from the time we are in the womb.
Both maybe! :)
" Evolutionary Psychology: Species evolving around water
Developmental Psychology: Prenatal development in womb
Sensory and Perception Psychology: White noise account
Behaviorism, specifically classical conditioning: We develop a learnt association between the sound of water and relaxation. "
epic!! so relaxed zzzz

You have THE BEST sounds for sleeping. I've subscribed to both your accounts.
I have anti-ASMR, if that's a thing. Like nails on a chalkboard. But like so many others, the sound of a bath filling behind the door reminds me of calm times as a kid -- my room was always across the hall from the bath. I think the door filters out the worst of the high-pitched noise.
The best time ever was when we had some dire plumbing problem (IDK what, I was like 10) and the guy had to come out at 10 PM and water had to be running. No idea when the plumber left b/c I fell asleep right away, which was and still is unlike me.
This is way better than the cheap mono version I recorded when I got my first old clunky cassette recorder in the 70s. Yay for the future.
I'd like this one with the door shut all the time. For some reason the beginning with the door open gives me a gritted teeth kind of reaction, but once the door is closed, my brain goes "ahhh" and all the noise in my head shuts off and I start feeling drowsy. (Also the first part with the door open makes me need to pee 😓)

But um .. where’s the door knob ?
Can you do one from the same viewpoint but catch the faucet turning on?

Were you just in the bathroom the whole time?
You should loop this!
Collette Marie it is looped, otherwise wouldn't the tub overflow since its going for *ONE HOUR*. I mean that must be one huge ass tub
I know I want it longer
+Collette Marie I have just created a new play list called "Just Bath Sounds" which has this video, plus the two hour bath filling video. If you go to my channel page and find the play list, you should be able to set it to "play all" and switch on the "repeat playlist" function, so it will play both videos over and over until you want it to stop! ;-)
yay!!!
is there any way I can loop this for like 8 hours.
You don't even know how happy this has made me.
Right click on the video then click loop. Enjoy my friend
I didn't know you could do that, thanks for the tip! That will save me from making an 8 hour long version which would be a pain to render and upload!
wow you should put that in the video description so people know
Mr. Shane Nepz ii
Is there a way to loop this while using a mobile phone? Thanks
I didn't see the hand when it closed the door so it scared the crap out of me
