Layered Bath Filling + Radiator Sounds - 2 Hours - With Black Screen - For ASMR / Sleep Sounds

  • A few of you wanted to hear my bath filling and radiator sounds layered together. Someone also asked me to do a bath filling video with black screen to reduce the brightness from the screen while trying to sleep! As always, the recording is looped to avoid wasting water!
All photographs and sound files used to create this video have been created by me. I never use any content belonging to others to create my videos!

I love reading all the details from others bathtub journeys. It’s particularly interesting that so many of us liked being wrapped in a towel after taking our clothes off. It was an important part of the ritual. As much about feeling the softness as experiencing the warmth. It’s almost like being swaddled as a baby. I once had a weighted blanket on my bed as an adult and it gave me such a safe and secure feeling, which is its intent. Or sometimes you put a robe over your body as you lay on a towel or soft bath mat. I notice others, like me, would sometimes place a rag over your face to experience the darkness while listening to the water. For me I think it was also to help me focus better. I could really allow all my other senses to take over as the magic was happening around me. I usually curled up in a fetal position to get that extra cozy feeling. Did you? It’s funny that I often sleep in a fetal position as well. Feels so safe and warm.
I felt so good snuggled up next to the tub listening only to the sound of water coming out and hitting the tub. There was a special echoing and muffled sound this way. It may even be similar sound to those who listened on the other side of a wall when a family member took a bath. And come to think of it, I liked feeling the cold porcelain against my face in contrast to the warmth of the towel around me. We seem to love the array of feelings we get using our senses. Anyway, It was as if I was in my own world feeling safe and at peace with everything. Every so often, water drops would hit my skin and give me goosebumps and tingles. I was never so happy. And, wondering if anyone ever reached out their hand to touch the cool tile floor to experience that sensation. Not sure why I did that unless it was just to add another layer of feeling something to the experience. Would be curious to know what you think. Also, I liked to reach in the tub sometimes and feel the warm water against my skin. I did that because I love the feel of water almost as much as the sound.
Then sometimes I would get in the tub at the end and feel the warm water envelop my body, giving me more goosebumps. Most of all I didn’t want the sound to end. I’m so grateful we have ASMR video recordings now so we can go to sleep experiencing the watery wonders of our childhood.
All of your stories bring me much happiness and tingles. Thank you for sharing and for being one of the water babies in this great community. Would you consider sharing one of your bath stories? Even if it’s very similar it would be nice to hear your version. Be well. 😊

This is really good, except I would bump up the pipe sound a bit. It is being obscured by the running bath. As a child my bed was right by the water pipes where I could hear them as well as hear the tub filling. Really great. It put me right to sleep.

My mom used to wake up early every morning and she would take long baths or showers. Hearing this sound while it was dark outside, was always a good feeling to me as a kid. It's a comfort sound for me. Hearing the shower or bath makes me more relaxed and feel safe. And i sleep alot better because of that. I heard this sound for 20 years of my life. 6 years not hearing that sound because you're a grown adult living an hour from your mom is sad. So glad i found these videos on youtube. Because my shower does not make these sounds, but this ome is similar to my moms shower.

I don't have any fancy story to tell as i dont really have a bath tub but i can imagine and relate to all these stories in here and it makes me feel so fuzzy and warm. I love the sound water makes when it splashes. I love how i can physically feel my stress go away when i listen to the drops slowing hitting the surface and i love the tingling sensation it gives me when the itsy bitsy water droplets splash me on my face. I just love water so much man i just cant even do it justice by trying to express it with words. My bedroom as a kid was opposite the bathroom door on the landing. Whenever someone took a bath I would go and lay down on the landing carpet outside the door and feel the warmth of the pipes through the floor as I lay there. Listening to the sound of the bath filling and wishing the sound to never end. Chills on my body but the warmth from the carpet heated by the water pipes. I never forget those times and it still stay with me today.

The minute I turned on the water I was at peace. And then all the sounds that came from that as the tub filled. And when the water drops hit my body. It was one big goosebump. I was in my own world. Happy. Thanks for sharing your story. 😊

I have the most wonderful memories of a childhood finding a safe place and bliss laying next to the bathtub. In the evening I would eagerly make my way to the bathroom, close and lock the door. Just imagining what I was about to do in and of itself gave me such joy. I would turn the water on to set the mood and then get my bath towels out and start preparing my nest. It was a ritual for me. I didn’t imagine anything other than creating a soft place to land. Once I had everything ready, I turned the water down low so I could savor the sound as long as possible. As the trickling, splashing sounds began, I crawled on to my safe place and covered myself as my head fell on the towel pillow. I was as close to the tub as I could get. Immediately I felt the tingles as I focused in on the sound of the water. I had the biggest smile on my face. My place. All mine. Safe. No worries or cares. Then, after a while as the water rose, I’d start feeling the occasional little splashes or drops come over the tub and hit my face. More tingles. I’d think how lucky am I that I get to experience this. No one can take this from me. Sometimes I would drift off for a bit. If not, I was at least in a good meditative state. After the tub was getting full, sometimes I would then slowly slide into the water feeling the luxurious warmth surround my body. Tingles. I would then scoot up close to the faucet and put my hands under the running water. Watch and feel it run over my hands thinking there is no better feeling in the world. More tingles. I never wanted to leave. I didn’t want to give up this sacred space. But, I always knew it would be waiting for me when I needed it and that gave me great satisfaction. I would eventually climb out, dry myself off with the soft towels and go climb into bed immediately luxuriating in the warmth and softness of the sheets and blanket. My fears and worries were set aside for a little while so I could sleep. Closing my eyes, I had wonderful thoughts of my next visit to the bathtub.

Now that I am nearly 43 in less than a month - I find that that hasn't ever evade my inner drive - as a Scorpio ( I am not a big Astrology fanatic ) I find that the Water sign congruous with Scorpios must mean something to my pursuant interests therein. STBYM, Thanks so much for all you do for us water/bath ASMRs out here. You have helped us in so many ways, from help in falling asleep, to quelling anxiety, to help with focusing. Ever since is was little I found the sound of running bath water so soothing and magical. It made me feel secure and peaceful. Now, at 66 I still feel that way. I have a request for you. I like to run the water slowly (rather than a full open tap, and not just a dribble either) because of the soft drumming sound it makes on the bottom of the tub. The sound is a hollow, almost background sound. I used to run the water more slowly as a kid because it meant I could stay in the bathroom longer and have more time to listen and get the shivers. Could you give this one a try? Thanks so much!
