People think having a crush is great, but it’s actually the worst. Especially when they don’t like you and like another person… that’s what’s happening to me… all I want to do is forget about him and move on but it’s so hard because we see eachother every day. I feel so insecure around him..
Then your next step is treat it like it is March 2020 state of emergency world. No matter how much you are in love with your crush, you can still practice 6 ft social distance. The more you practice social distance, it doesn't make a difference if you see your crush everyday. I am assuming your crush is your coworker. So if by keeping social distance knowing that your crush will not love you back, you will naturally get over your crush even if you were to see your crush everyday. By practicing social distance, you will train your mind to communicate with your crush for project reasons only if you 2 are coworkers and nothing else. No important topic to discuss, means you need to remind yourself you don't need her. Knowing how to detach yourself takes time but once you are used to it, then you realize it is possible to detach yourself. If you practice social distance, your heart will move on in the long run even if you were to see your crush everyday. All it takes is admiring from afar. Just be a shy type of person who is scared to do the initiating and eventually you will overcome it.

I cant underestimate how important closure is, even if you absolutely sure the don't return feelings for you, hearing the "sorry but I don't think of you that way" is one of the most crucial parts to moving on.

This can sometimes cause you you to Pace, move around, or even whisper along with the dream. For some people it can be just a mild inconvenience but for some people it can really mess up there lives. I used to have a crush on my classmate and I confessed... He rejected me. But that wasn't the worst part actually. After he rejected me, we started getting closer. He regularly stared at me, smiled at me, sat next to me and he remembered every small detail about me. We would sometimes even chat after school and I started falling in love even deeper. A few days ago, I was on a small trip with him and my best friend. My best friend and I were pretty sure that he had feelings for me. But it turned out he didn't. He only saw me as a ,,good friend''. He was leading me on this entire time. I was confused, why was he playing with my feelings like that? I decided to cut connections after the trip. I told him that I need distance and that he should stop talking to me. It hurt. I see him everyday in school and we don't talk anymore. But I'm moving on and feeling better than ever. No regrets. I deserve way better than him anyway :)

Don't worry. He is your classmate which means you won't see him after graduating. If it is high school, you both will go to different colleges anyways. If you are classmate with your crush in college, you will likely not see your crush next semester. Classmates are temporary which means by the time your classmate is out of your life, it will hurt for a while but that pain will eventually fade and you will move on.

And I felt sad and awkward cuz turns out I still had some feeling for him after his crush talked to me and I started catching feelings for his crush (let’s call him soapie) Soapie had a friend let’s call him Peter I was friends with Peter and I asked Peter who Soapie liked and Peter knew I liked Soapie but turns out Soapie never had feeling for me. Me and Soapie had lots in common and Soapie stared at me , would try to start a conversation with me ,talk to me,make fun of me (in a nice way) and for his birthday I painted a shell 🐚 and since he played animal crossing and his favorite season was summer I made the summer shell for him but I never gave that gift for him because that day I found out he never has feeling for me (I wished him a happy birthday on his birthday and he said “thanks..” and it made me happy to know he appreciated it.. and I remember after Peter told me that Soapie never had feelings for me Peter said “you know (gay dude) told me he would want to date you” and I got over my crush of the gay dude and I felt so furious and confused and I felt like crying :/ and still that moment I swore to never like anyone again. (Srry if it’s long and srry for bad grammar)

I've confessed to 3 people so far, and 2 of them are still my very good friends. It's not like it's impossible, it's just how you view the situation.

Emma Plays my motto is the only way to beat an obsession is to obsess over something else. Which is essentially the same as you stated already. It’s obviously meant to be a very temporary solution and nothing more since you will pretty much end up in the same spot again later on and you’ll have to find someone else once again and be stuck in that cycle forever. 3)Self Assessment: Reflect on what you have learned about them and find out reasons why you couldn't be right for them or why couldn't they be right for you

My longest crush lasted 6 years, pretty much all through high school. I didn't even know her that well and we hardly interacted. It was still painful to go through.

I’m here because I can’t be with him even if I tried. I feel the need to vent a lil and no one’s probably gonna comment on this but the thing is me and him have been friends. He hasn’t come to school in a while, and I found out he was in Florida for a vacation. I thought “Good for him!” But, today I felt like crying and throwing up. In 2nd period I overheard that he hasn’t been to school after Florida because he’s homeschooled now. So I’ll basically never see him again and I really don’t have a choice when blocking all communication with him. TBH, he’s the only thing that can help me go through my day.
