Imagine leaving your birth mother at 4 years old, growing up with loving adoptive parents, basically finding them murdered and then having to start over at 16 years old. My heart just breaks for Chris 😢 He lost his parents, never really had his birth mother, and lost his only brother!
I thought of him a lot in this too. That poor young man. I hope he's as well as one could be after all of this.
@@leahsanders798 the reason why Chris wants nothing to do with Kisha because he knew she was a horrible mother who always make bad decisions
I'm adopted, adoption trauma is a very real thing, even for adoptees that had wonderful adoptive parents. My mum raised me from the age of 5 months, she's my mum, my best friend and a wonderful woman. The thought of a child, adopted or blood related, doing something so horrible to a loving parent is abhorrent. Thank you for presenting this case with such empathy xx
I was adopted at 5 months old. A child of one of those forced single Mum adoptions back in the 60s. I adored my adoptive parents so much. Such a happy childhood. I did search for my birth Mum in my early 20s, with my parents' permission. Although I found it interesting and I had a real respect and empathy for her situation back then, I just didn't get on with her that well. We clashed. I have a half brother who is the total opposite to me, and we get on well. However, my parents were 100% my Mum and Dad and I've decided not to continue a relationship with my birth Mum even though she's still alive and doing well at 88. ❤
Thanks for all of the work you put in to your videos. Definitely the best true crime channel on CZcams!
I agree. She is wonderful! I listen to other channels and I find myself recommending Emma in their comments🙂
By far!
😅😅
I love Emma❤❤
I love it when Emma "digreses". You're very witty Emma & I like your humour.. You say it exactly how it is, which is refreshing.👍🌻
I admire how you can tell the stories with ease - how you remember detail is just amazing - I listen to you every Wednesday and Friday
This case is so sad - there were no winners - everyone lost something
I just can’t get my head around why people do this - they have zero consequential thinking -
Your empathetic and powerful commentary along with your extensive research is par to none. Another fantastic video. ❤
Don’t feel pressure to get extra content out to us!! ❤️ We are so lucky to have you twice a week every single week without fail. We support you because you are the best, on top of that you’ve just had a baby ❤ take care lovely we love ya!
Excellent journalism and psychology! Wow ! I’m new to your channel. I greatly appreciate your depth, insight, and professionalism. I’ve been desperately seeking a new true crime and psychology creator. Tag! You’re it!!! I d tried a bunch of the others but all they do is reread basic google searches, monotone voices, and run on statements to try to make their videos longer. So count me in! Thank you!!!🌻
@ jackstevens585 right ? 💯 agree and I think people who never came across Emma but follow another true crime channel are convinced that those are the best but that is until you see one of Emma’s videos! This is true talent and a very unique way to tell the story with such deep insight!
I was allowed to have contact with my daughter after she was adopted and good thing too as it turned out the adopted parents were abusive, we have a very close relationship now ❤❤❤❤
Thank goodness for you. 😊✌️👯♀️
I’m so sorry you had to witness that abuse! Bless both your sweet hearts. 🇦🇺

Hi Emma! Thanks for yet again a brilliant cover on this case 🎉 I would love if you can cover The Menendez brothers. I have always been so intressted in this case and what you think regarding it. Lots of love ❤
That's so devastating... another well done case. When it comes to nature vs nurture I still think nurture can be argued. My kids were little when I went through my divorce and it very much affected my oldest (she was 6 at the time) much more than it affected her siblings (ages 3 and 2 at the time). It took years to help my oldest work through her feelings (especially anger).
Bless your sweet heart…you’re children are so fortunate to have such a caring and perceptive mum. 🌹🥰
Same - my son was 6 and my daughter was 2. Therapy was involved and luckily helped immensely.
Same with my parents splitting up. I was 6, my sister 3. I quickly got over it once my mother talked me round, though.
Right or wrong, I haven't the patience or sympathy for parents who aren't able to put their children's needs, feelings and best interests BEFORE their own. Especially when the situation is of their own doing. May the Bluml's RIP ❤❤ and may Keisha live out the rest of her life with leprosy.
The stoned toast-munchies cutscene left me dead. 💀
The reference to the fifth piece of toast left me positively decomposing.

Got loads of new stuff coming ! Been recording lots as of late for it x
You are a Boss Emma!! Consistency and with a new beautiful baby!! Thank you for all your hard work to bringing all of these heartbreaking stories to light. Keep it up!! ❤
Just wanted to say I really appreciate your content Emma. I feel like I have a friend in you after watching so much of your content. Your empathy and kindness shine through in all your videos.
Another devastating yet informed report Emma. Thanks x
Thank You Emma for covering this heartbreaking case 💔💔
It's interesting that Blumls didn't want any relationship with Keisha. I can't help but wonder if they had a gut instinct that she was bad news...
Call it Gut Feeling
They knew she was a trash human.
I’m sure the person who did the adoption provided background on the bio mom and drugs and inconsistencies is not good for kids
@@miliaelainejones2421 it’s clear that Kisha never really wanted to give her sons up for adoption in the first place
Emma, your impersonations of Kisha cracked me up 😂😂 You really went into character there!!
She’s a natural actress huh? Lmao at so many of her roles of impersonating people in the moment!!! 🤣😂😅🥹
I know! She’s soo funny . I love this woman! Great comic relief in midst of very tragic story.
You could legit book Emma as a party entertainer... 🤣
Congratulations, Emma, on your baby ❤

Emma… your expertise becomes longer and more deep and detailed. Thank you so much, I am in my third year ( Forensic Psychology) and your videos teaching me a lot. ❤
As a professional in the same field, I would have found her videos very useful while in grad school.
Best of luck.
If anyone you know of has decided to murder anyone, leave quietly and go straight to the police because otherwise you will go to prison as an accomplice or under another charge for a very long time!! Just sayin.
Poor Chris, lost his Parents, his brother and his bio mum. How selfish. Tony left his brother with nobody.
Em absolutely comedy gold when you improvised the interrogation of Keisha…😂
I've been stuck in the hospital for 24hrs with an individual I support, couldn't have got through the night with out this. Thankyou Emma! Also absolutely loved your show in Cardiff, I was totally starstruck seeing you on the stage! Proudly wearing my serial killer next door hoodie as I'm typing this 😂🥰😌 xxx
When my mom was making frequent visits to the hospital and when she entered hospice, I would utilize Emma's talents (as well as others) to keep me company. Emma is so calming and entertaining. I hope the person you're caring for recovers quickly. Bless you ~
R.I.P. Melissa & Roger 😔😢😔
I don’t really know anything about this case, which doesn’t happen too often since my hobby is investigative journalism 😊. But I love when you cover a case I’m unfamiliar w bc I KNOW I’ll get factual information mixed w a witty, sassy & sarcastic remark or side convo from Emma!!! 😂. Those are definitely my favorite, the conversation you make up & have are always spot on. And like I said, it has the perfect amount of wit & sarcasm!
Thank you for all the hard work, research & dedication you put into every video! Shows you care for the victims & the cases but also us viewers! ❤
You must be pretty sassy & sarcastic yourself to think that.

Ok not even a few minutes in but the reason I love your channel is you are just so relatable, baby sick down your back 💖 brings back happy memories, I had an important safeguarding meeting, numerous agencies involved. I was prepared, dressed for battle. Only to have someone point out there was something smeared across the front of my dress. It was bloody Weetabix, not sure if it was precious thing one or thing two, but dried Weetabix is stronger than concrete 😂 oh how I miss those days x
Absolutely heartbreaking story....thank you Emma for covering it.
Hi emma, love your stories
This is a sad case, poor Chris😢
Why always the most loving parents are murdered?
Love it when you have conversations with yourself 😂
But on a more serious note... I've been binge watching you for the last 2 weeks, and I've found some of the cases you've covered I know about, but you always detail things about them that I didn't know. The information you detail in each of your vids just tops any crime show.
I didn't know about this case. I can't even fathom what these 2 beautiful human beings would have felt when they were dying at the hands (I know not literally) of someone they gave a new life to. Or the pain, fear... christ.
Love your videos Em! Your passion and dedication is an inspiration! ❤Love you lots!❤
Hi Emma I'm from Australia there is a case from 2009 the Brenda lin family murders very tragic with a huge awful twist. You should look into. I'd love to here your brilliant way of telling this terrible tragic unfortunate story.
Hi Louise…✌️
I just watched that case on 7NEWS channel. An upload from 2years ago where Brenda is talking about her journey and how hard it was for her to find herself again. 😢
It’s very sad that her very own Uncle could do such a horrific thing to his wonderful happy and thriving family. 🤦♀️
You said at the begining that you're doing extra content for your CZcams and Patreon members so we feel confident in supporting you. I, for one, feel confident in supporting you as a CZcams member whether you do extra content or not. You have a little one and a lot going on it your life. I enjoy all of the videos you take your time to create. Also, I relate to this video in the sense that I have had to put 2 children up for adoption. It was my choice but that does not make it easy. I don't know what it would feel like to be an adopted child but I know from a parents point of view it's heart wrenching. That being said, it depends on the state on what the definition of open adoption is. The state that I dealt with, I have an open adoption with both girls. According to the state though, that means they can call the adoption agency at the age of 18 and get my contact information. Until the age of 18, it is still illegal for me to try and contact them or for their parents (they're with the same family even though they're 10 years apart), to try and facilitate contact with me before they are 18. Now, we can send each other letter through the adoption agency and I have sent some letters. I haven't gotten any response though. My eldest daughter is 23 and has been old enough for 5 years to contact me and hasn't. It makes me really sad to think about but, on the other hand, I agree with you that it would be completely inappropriate for me to initiate contact with them through social media. That is absolutely up to them. If they do not want to initiate contact, then I will just not have contact with them. Also, for her to blame ANYTHING on the adoptive parents is ridiculous. Even if she didn't choose to give up her boys, even if they were taken away, she still chose not to make the necessary adjustments to keep them with her and based on her later behavior indicated by this video, it would have been SO bad for the boys to have grown up with her. Just being around her older son for the short amount of time that she was, 2 people lost their lives. Imagine if those boys had that influence their whole childhood. How dire would that outcome look?
I can say that when I lost my daughter to still birth that I was in shock. I was overly polite thanking everyone and just almost felt like I wasn't there but watching. I had a bath and thanked the nurse heping me. It wasn't until a day later while still in hospital with her that it hit me, but in the moment and during delivery, I acted weirdly calm as if I was told the weather. After I was broken, but during that time and in the moment, I must have looked emotionless. I understand his reaction fully. Sometimes, it just seems so far from reality to you that you go into almost auto pilot.
"Welcome,I'm covered in baby vomit. Let's discuss murder shall we?"
😂😂
Braden is my cousin’s son. Shortly before this went down, he had come to town with his grandma. (My aunt) I remember him being really into fishing.
One day I got a text from my mom, and all it said in the preview was “Braden and his friends”. I assumed the rest of the text was going to say “are coming down to do some fishing” or something like that. But when I opened the text it said “Braden and his friends were just arrested for murder.” It was shocking. Like, wtf?
Then I heard the whole story, and it sounded like the stupidest plan I’ve ever heard. It’s completely idiotic that they thought they’d get away with it.
While we know most of the details, I’d love to see the full interrogation footage of this case.
Thank you Emma!
Hi Emma, I just wanted to say well done on the amazing show at New Brighton last night. I came away with a bit more insight into the world of serial killers. Your show is one of the two best shows I've seen this year . Please pass on my thanks to Pete for his help and patience while I was deciding on what size hoodie to get. Hi Emma hope you and your gorgeous family are doing ❤well, can't wait to see you at a live show xx
Oh I remember the covered in baby sick days fondly! 😊
I live in Wichita but was unfamiliar with this case. Thank you for telling it so well.
I've come across many siblings where; despite the same upbringing, developed opposite nature's. One or more often became narcissistic and the others empaths. I do think some people are wired different and no matter how they are raised, they will inevitably become "psychopathic" in some form or another.
I agree. I think that, sometimes, nature can override all the nurture in the world. It can be both positive and negative depending on the individual. Nothing happens in a vacuum, obviously. We're all affected by what we experience, and led in various directions, often in spite of ourselves. But, for better or worse, some people just have very strong internal "wiring" so to speak.
I don't know if u remember this I've been watching britain's darkest taboos and ur the criminologist well 1 of them it's the case of darren paul and jack the father set fire to the house killing all 3 of them can u shed more light on this case plz emma

Hi Emma, thanks for another great upload. Try as I might, I can’t see that you’ve done an episode on Christopher Halliwell, or Neil Entwhistle. Do you know if you have? Thanks x
Heartbreakingly shocking.
I feel so bad for Chris and the little girl.
My 2 ss are 2yrs apart and had completely different reactions to their mum's dysfunction. Partly due to their ages, but also their own personalities and their positions in the family.
Personally, I believe that families with adopted children should have access to a specialist therapist. Foster carers receive ongoing support, that adoptive families don't.
Also, what the hell does 'no contest' mean?? You're either guilty or not guilty.
In some cases pleading no contest is a good strategy. In this case, and many others, it's just a squirrely way of not admitting guilt, but also not maintaining your innocence.
I cannot tell you how many arguments with my eldest daughter were started/enflamed/ended with being told I treated her younger sibling better. Of course, there's no response that satisfies and they just cant seem to understand it's the difference in behaviors that elicit different responses.
Ohhhh!! We luv ya Em!! Yes, we’re all so very proud of you girl. Have never missed, not one episode, and are always looking forward to your next upload. I wish I could take my womb and give it away.. I never ever wanted to have children. This is something I decided when I was still a kid myself, and my life is amazing without them. I wish I could just simply exchange my fertility with an infertile woman. My life could be easier, and hers could be happy. My forever greatest fear is getting pregnant so I have to get an abortion, and I am lucky if I can and won't left pregnant.
I appreciate your grace in the handling of Keisha, but she seems like a malignant narcissist. Or malingering. She's nuts, filled with hate and anger, suspicion and bizarre accusations. She's ridiculous, and dangerous. She poisoned her son against the only people who really loved him.
I always wonder what's happening with the surviving ones?
What happened with Chris?
I'm incredibly sorry for what he has been through. Not having parents to having parents (and not just "some parents"- he got the best ones) to losing both of them. I'd have gone crazy.
Also, I'm against life sentence for person younger than...~25. If we take into the consideration that human brain fully develops by that age, for some offenders, there should be some light at the end. Not for all. There are some real monsters, who are as young as 12 (even younger, if I remember correctly).
I'd give Tony a chance. But that's just me...
Great coverage, Emma. Per usual. ❤
GOOD EVENING EMMA.HOPE ALLS WELL WITH YOU
you should always be honest with adopted childen. they will appreciate it.
58:30 Accept my apologies Emma but I just called Keisha the C word outloud really loudly! 😮❤
Congrats Emma 🎉 Your baby girl is 11wks old! 🐣
Actually in the states when u plead no contest u are saying u are not guilty but that there is overwhelming evidence that will put you in prison etc regardless of that and so no contest isn't an admission of guilt but of there being too much evidence against u so u choose not to take a chance in trial and receive (usially) a less harsh sentence ie life as opposed to the death sentence
Thank you Emma xx
Emma, I am a little speechless here. I have biological and adopted children and I can’t even imagine any of them ever doing anything to harm me or anyone else. I had a traumatic childhood but I am a decent person in spite of that. I don’t think it made me stronger, but it forced me to face it and deal with it through lots of therapy. Our boys had weekly therapy for over 3 years and they may never need it again but I want them to know that it’s okay if they do. I know what abandonment and rejection can do to a person and I try to ensure that my boys know how much they are loved and wanted, but I also know that they may have difficulties later in life and I pray that they will seek help if they do. Prayers that Cris and the 7yr old child have gotten all the love and support they need to get through this. The bio mom needed serious therapy before she contacted the boys, maybe none of this would have happened. Sad..
