I saw the clip of the court at her sentencing. How she attacked her defence lawyer. Completely deranged, that woman. But somehow her whole life seems to have gone wrong. Then drugs on top of that, perfect chaos cocktail

The reason that they have separate sentences is because if, for some reason on appeal, the murder charge is overturned, she is still guilty on the sex assault charge and would serve that sentence. That's how I understand it from watching lawyers explain cases here on CZcams.😊

My heart breaks for Shad's mother...this poor woman will never feel complete PEACE OF MIND EVER AGAIN...I can not imagine the pain she must be feeling even today...I don't know if I could even survive after finding my son the way she did...Sending love and hugs to Shad's mother ❤ You will be in my thoughts and prayers always 😢 I have a son about that age and my mind won't even go there..😢 I had a horrific childhood and I'm not exaggerating the word horrific at all...but it made me overly empathetic almost to a fault..I feel other's pain deeply....so I don't buy the horrible childhood defense here...I know there are some cases maybe but not here...I believe she wanted to kill and I believe she wanted ATTENTION! The poor woman was so traumatised and in shock that when she was asked on the 911 call to explain what had happened she briefly alluded to it but then started speaking like she doubted what she had seen like she just simply couldn’t process that such a horrendous act was possible and that she was hoping desperately that she had made some horrible mistake about what she had seen.

If I was shads mom and I heard my husband standing up to give the victim impact statement stating ‘she made a bad choice, she’s not a bad person and I hope one day she walks the street again’ I would be running to the divorce courts ! Did he not take in consideration his wife feelings, she found his head in a bucket for god sake! the trauma nightmares the ptsd she will suffer everyday of her life and her husband is saying I forgive you is just absolute madness beyond comprehension I get you want to forgive for your own peace but jeeeze that’s a step too far - sorry that’s just my opinion
I get his dad forgiving her so he’s not eaten up with anger for the rest of his life but to say he doesn’t think she’s a bad person and hopes the judge let’s her out on the streets again is too far. She’s committed the most horrific murder and shown zero remorse, you don’t get much more dangerous than that!
I agree! It’s way more than just “a bad choice” as he said. Maybe he hasn’t felt the full weight of it all yet. Idk. It is astonishing to me too. Especially bc she hasn’t shown remorse or empathy or any care at all.
I couldn't agree more. In court she is not intoxicated, you would think in the cold light of day she would be horrified at what she had done. Her Dad has a right to his feelings but I will never understand them.
I think that she planned through and through given she had googled Jeffery Dahmer and thought that she could get away with it by pleading the insanity plea.. I do fully believe she was well aware of what she was doing!! Even if she had mental illnesses, she was still fully aware, and I do believe she can and will do it again if she hasn't been arrested!!

I've followed this case, and Schabusiness is a vile creature, who deserves all that she'll have coming to her in prison.
Single parents are often looked down upon. Particularly women, but men too, on occasion.
When a parent exits a child's life, whether it's due to a death, incarceration, or abandonment, this is very traumatizing for the child. And I DO understand the instinct to seek out someone else to embody that role, because their kids are suffering from the loss of that.
What I think people fail to realize is that those kids aren't grieving for the loss of a maternal figure - they may someday. But right now, what they're grieving is the loss of THEIR MOTHER. They don't know from systemic figures, or family dynamics, or anything else. They're missing their beloved mother, and replacing her as quickly as possible is giving "Sorry your dog died. Let's go out and get you a brand new one."
Of course new partners aren't the same as new dogs, but the desperate desire to keep your kids from grieving (and likely you as well) is the issue here. Choosing a partner so that you can make your children think everything is status quo is really messed up. You all need time to grieve. You take that time, you talk about your grief, and then you possibly go out into the dating universe armed with a blueprint of what's really important.
If you are grieving, this is not the time to date. If you are angry and bitter, this is not the time to date. If you are frightened and mistrustful, this is not the time to date.
This is the time to heal. Date later.
you could see she has no empathy or sympathy when shad’s dad was telling her that he forgave her for what she did to his son and she just sat there as if he was reading off his shopping list to her. she’s truly a despicable creature.
Yeah, even Gary Ridgeway had an emotional reaction whenever one of his victims' father's said pretty much the same thing to him and he's a monster. She's a monster who idolizes other monsters.
I found that difficult to process. Such a heinous crime, and gracious forgiveness, to somebody who has not shown one hint of remorse in the cold light of day.

Yep she was definitely in shock and when she was asked to state what she had seen she alluded to it but then started speaking like she was doubting what she had seen like she just simply couldn’t process that such a horrendous act was possible and that she was hoping desperately that she had made some horrible mistake about what she had seen.
The crime she committed and the behaviour afterwards feels like she is possessed. It's insane. I always feel like using mental health issues is a cop out and that's why I love it when you take time to explain the signs and behaviours of mental health issues and then state that it doesn't mean that someone will kill. However this woman is not right in the head in anyway. She needs to be locked away for good. My heart goes out to her bf and his family. I can not begin to imagine how they even find the strength to carry on . Thank you Emma you are my favourite person on CZcams

As someone with bipolar with hallucinations, PTSD from severe trauma and ADHD, the idea that her bipolar and trauma would cause this is just preposterous to me. Especially considering her the lack of remorse and proper behaviour after - bipolar is episodal, it isn't a permanent state, when she got out of it (to just say it like it is) she would've most likely committed suicide just finding out what she did to her friend. I've experienced a lot of trauma, and it can take you to very very dark places, but somehow, cutting the head and private parts of a friend, dismembering their body etc. never made the list...she did these things because she wanted to because she chose to, because she liked it. I agree she needs psychiatric care for sure, but the defense they put up is ridiculous, insulting, and it's just using the prejudices of society to get her out. I have huge compassion for her loved ones though, I can't imagine. And most of all, to his loved ones, especially his mother, I can't imagine and I hope I never have to find out. All my love to them ♥️♥️

Emma, may I ask if you’d be willing to have a look at the Linda Derby case the woman who killed her first husband, then went on the run for over 30 years. I have been trying to find out as it intrigued me but cannot for the life of me find the info you always seem to find; and so brilliantly share in your enthusiastic and sometimes comical way with your reactions and what you’d like to do to said vile people.

I have worked with clients suffering from several mental illnesses and methamphetamine abuse or come down (days without sleep can make vulnerable people fight both invisible monsters and law enforcement officers) . They are absolutely on a "completely different level*. I am an advocate for properly trained professionals who can safely intervene and get these people help. The system and her parents failed to prevent Ms. Coronado from becoming a horrendous, murderous psychopath. 😢
I do believe that people can be this “ evil”. I also believe that she is possibly psychotic and shouldn’t be on trial but detained in a secure hospital.
If I had been her defence I would have made a bigger issue of “intentional murder” during the competency phase of the trial. She removed his muscles, took them home & into the house…muscles that she believed “regrew stronger”.

To lose a child is totally tragic; however to lose a child in a demonic, diabolical manner is even more heart breaking. I cannot imagine how horrible seeing Shad in this condition will deeply affect his mother. Listening to the 911 call was extremely difficult. The way Shad's mother was able to communicate is amazing. I am going to guess she was in shock and on auto pilot. This was a total nightmare. I pray she is receiving intensive therapy and has a strong supportive group of family and friends.
Taylor is the epitome of evil. While she did have some major heartbreaks in her life; she still knew right from wrong. In my opinion she wanted to inflict pain on others and didn't care about the consequences. I saw her in court and she seemed to be enjoying and reliving her actions. No amount of prison time is enough. This is one case that the death penalty should have been imposed and quickly.

After my dad was killed in a car accident my mum got involved with someone else, and very quickly he'd moved in. That was too much for me to take, I had just turned 14 and my dads 40th was a week away when he was gone.
The arguments were constant this man was sleeping in the same bed as my dad had slept in.
Far too quick. I believe that when a marriage is over for any reason the parent who finds someone else needs to think "just because I like this person it's not definite that my children will feel the same"
Thoughtlessness in a parent can cause real and on going huge difficulties in their children.
Eventually I began to like him. Taking time should have been the priority.
I think it’s a “POSSIBILITY” that Taylor absolutely KNEW she was going to jail for the rest of her life & obviously she will be aware of how dangerous that is so there is a possibility she’s acting the way she has in preparation for prison & showing no weakness, if other inmates believe she’s a psychopath without a care in the world then she’s more likely to be left alone……but I’m not stupid it may just be the way she is 🤯🤯……I also believe she does have mental Ilness (AGAIN I COULD BE VERY VERY WRONG) But I’ve unfortunately had some experience with something similar & im aware this could be mental Illness……The other side of me truly believes this woman is possessed….im not going into why or making excuses for her in anyway it’s just my thoughts on the situation…..Great vid as ALWAYS Em & I hope little Etta B is doing good ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow you can understand how in previous centuries they thought people with this behaviour were thought to be possessed by demons and needed a exorcist. Very scary . Very dangerous . Hope she gets the help she needs for the rest of her life .

Her life was such a tragedy & all she got was drugs, prescription & street…
I watched this trial playout on CZcams as well as researched what I could find on the internet. I was troubled by whether or not Taylor was responsible for her actions. She committed the crime in an open basement. Yes, it was closed off from the first floor of the house, but it would have been easy for anyone to go down there and see what she was up to. I believe the victim's mother did go down into the basement at one point but apparently turned the opposite direction at the bottom of the stairs. Therefore, she did not see what was taking place on the other side. It seems that Taylor did not have any concern about being caught. On the other hand, she cleaned up(although a very poor attempt) afterward. Also, Taylor admitted to not taking the medication prescribed and also admitted to being high. The question in my mind was if she had been taking her medication and been sober, what was the likelihood that she would have committed this crime? A person with a mental illness who does not take prescribed medication can not blame their crime on said mental illness. It is their responsibility to treat their condition. Also, a person who is high at the time of committing a crime can not blame that crime on being high because they chose to alter their mental condition by doing said drug.
In my mind, she is responsible for this horrible murder. She chose not to take her prescribed medication, and she chose to get high. There is no way to know if she would have committed this crime if she had been taking her medication(and any other prescribed treatments), and she had been sober. The psychologists explanation of her mental illnesses and improved behavior with treatment at the very least, make me think that there is a possibility that this crime would not have taken place if she were taking her medication and was sober. That would mean that Taylor is responsible for the crime she committed. I believe we should have separate prisons for such people. Not a mental hospital where there is a chance of release if deemed cured but a prison where they serve out their sentence but are in a facility that is conducive to treating mental health conditions. This can not be a reality with the current state of mental health in this country. We need more money allocated to mental health and a complete remodel of the entire mental health system, starting with access to adequate mental health treatment for everyone regardless of ability to pay. Sadly, the current state of mental healthcare in the US is only a small portion of what needs to be fixed when it comes to health care reform.
Some states have "mandatory minimums" when it comes to life sentences. This means that there is a set amount of years that must be served on a life sentence before a person can be released. In some states, the minimum is 25 years. Other states may have 20 year minimums. Some life sentences actually do mean the entirety of a person's natural life.
I think most of the insane meth fueled murders we hear about would not have happened without the meth.

With regard to Taylor’s mental state at the time she committed the murder… in many states, including Wisconsin, altered mental state as a result of drug use can’t be used as a basis for insanity, even if you’re hallucinating on drugs, because the argument is that the individual “made a conscious choice to take the drugs”. Taylor had 3 or 4 competency examinations and was found to be both “sane at the time of carrying out the crime” and “competent to stand trial”. Additionally her second defence lawyer tried everything to push her trial back. He wanted vital evidence withdrawn, such as her initial confession to police. I’m not saying that she didn’t have mental health issues, because she clearly does, but that didn’t mean she didn’t know what she was doing.

I'm a strong believer that a person has to be under the influence of Satan to commit such an outrageous, egregious act as this. Killing someone is one thing, but playing with the corpse in a sexual manner, then butchering him to the extent she did can only be explained as completely evil beyond anything we could have imagined before hearing about this case. That's just my opinion.
I don't believe in Satan - I think certain humans are able to act in an inhuman way without the influence of some external force. Human nature is a huge spectrum, so why shouldn't some people be at the evil end of it because of an unfortunate combination of genetic disposition and social environment?

So many people have bad horrible things happen to them in their lives and do not become like this. I’m sad for the child she was and angry for lack of help and support she didn’t have. But the choices she made as an adult are her own and she deserves to experience the consequences of them to the full extent of the law

If she’s suffering from serious mental illness she will be sent to hospital after a while. Patients/inmates often are in the USA.
I believe the jury decided on whether she had mental illness or not, and whether a hospital order should be in order. They decided she was competent, I could be wrong though 🤔

I watched the entire trial. Her crimes were horrific AND she is a very damaged soul who, if some empathy and support had been put in place, may not have ended this way. Desperately sad case for every person involved, including Taylor.

While I always appreciate and love your coverage, there was a bit of a disappointing miss on research here. I think that the origin of her last name is SO telling and fascinating. You act like it was her husband’s given name. Nooooo. You just skimmed over that whole thing, which is psychologically such an interesting fact.

I was waiting for this one! My personal history with the drug in question really leaves me to wonder. The Bitch, indeed. I have seen it release a primal savagery that is hard to describe.
I watched the whole of this and the interviews with the police and yes she murdered but I seriously think it could have been a hit by her husband, she was involved but mentally she is and was broken because she couldn't put such an act 24/7, even Vallow Daybell broke her act during her trial.
I will never forget her sadistic smile during her trial.
The cocktail of drugs during the murder and the drug fuelled sex with sadist activity thrown in was a catalyst for only one outcome, death for one and life in prison for the other. I think that she moved the parts, but was too far insane to cut the body up without causing herself injury and I do think that her husband from his cell ordered the gruesome murder.
I also felt that the victims father is the way he is because his son was locked in the drug hell and life he was living, I don't condone the way his life ended but he is now free from the hell he was in every minute of his life.

North, South and Central America has become and continues to be a place for lost generations who have no way out but to say yes to something that will destroy them and turn them into the living corpses that they become. CZcams is full of police, medical and media documentaries on the whole world of the Living, Walking, Dead and it seems nothing is winning the war, apart from the drugs, the dealers and the mass production.
I know that most of you already know this. BUT... For that 5% that might not. In the U.S. judicial system, we often add on after life sentences BECAUSE... SOMETIME the system fails and they get out on technical. So to make sure that are still in prison for a time for the State to retire a case. AND they are NOT eligible for release while waiting a retrial, the judge will make sure all is added and runs concurrently. (So in other words there's absolutely no way you're getting out)

Every time a picture of taylor was on screen, my puppy went nuts. Many growlz! Never had that happen before.
I think she is simply so evil that the most of us has to say she is insane but she is not. We simply refuse to acknowledge the fact that there is That Level of evil in some humans. I can assure you all: THERE IS EVIL OUT THERE and it is not the "devil" it is us, people.
PS: not too many people are dark and so twisted - most of us will always refuse to acknowledge/ believe that it is possible to simply just breathe and live like no one and nothing at all matters only his/ her pleasure and satisfaction.

Meth users can be so scary. There was this one lady that came in to the store that i worked at, everyone had to tiptoe around her. One minute you were best friends the next you were the enemy. The cops had to go with the meter reader had to go by her house.

while i feel for Taylor with the situations she went through , Shad DID NOT deserve that! what she did is more then "pretty fucked up" she's an evil psychopath, who should never be released! she defo would of been a serial killer!

Absolutely agree that this woman should have been sent to a mental health facility and detained for treatment. I don't understand why being under the influences of substances negates the insanity plea... evidence shows that some people with SMI diagnoses self-medicate with substances, hence drug-related psychosis and polysubstance abuse disorder. The energy expelled during the disturbing treatment of the victim could not be carried out by someone who is in a stable mental state. Just look at her! She smiles/laughs incongruently; her eye contact is often vacant, suspicious and confused; she appears disorientated and detached; she's responding to unseen stimuli; I could go on.
She is unmedicated and untreated. She needs help.
This woman should have had a mental health advocate.
