      Were the tales of woe and abuse actually substantiated? Many defence attorneys cook up abuse,deprivation etc stories in an attempt to minimize the criminality of their clients and sympathy from the court. Just pointing out facts.

Sheer evil are those who perpetrated that heinous crime against her. And what a brave lady to have endured long enough to be able to tell people who did that to her before she succumbed to her injuries. Thank you for covering this, Emma xx

    I do want to say I definitely do not agree with the statement made by Emma that there’s no reason someone should be using a taser (even if they’re being attacked) because most women only use that type of item for protection and has many many times, saved women’s lives

      @JellyBaby33 Před 10 měsíci +16

      I think it is based on location ... in England we can not own a taser as they are illegal. So depending on where you live can make you have different views based on how your raised. If your caught with a taser in England you will end up doing a prison sentence. Obviously other countries having a taser is a normal thing.

      Yeah, I found that to be an odd comment. I have a gun in my house. I live in a very, very low crime suburb where there is almost no chance I'd ever need it. But you can bet if I did need to, I would. I don't really think that says anything about my emotional stability. But I also found her comments about trailer parks in general to be off base. That's kind of just a stereotype. Trailer parks are usually just working class neighborhoods. There are some bad ones, just like there are apartment complexes you wouldn't necessarily wanna be hanging out in.
      To add: during other videos I've watched about this case, as well as interrogation footage, it was found the taser was Brittany's that she initially brought out.

    "The fact that there is a stun gun there at all tells us that this environment was dysfunctional"...? Very odd comment. Plenty of people have stun guns for personal protection! It's a non-lethal way of fending off a potential attack. Pepper spray & Stun guns are actually recommended by police for women especially. My daughter-in-law has carried one for years. She worked in housekeeping in a hotel & always had it in her pocket. Certainly better than walking completely vulnerable into a hotel room where some psycho could be lying in wait to harm her! (Personally I prefer my firearm but I understand that isn't for everyone)
    Btw: Stun gun & Taser are 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things!!

    I’m glad you did this story. I watched the interviews not long ago. I’m really annoyed that Heather got off so easily, especially since she had the motive, her boyfriend admitted he was sleeping with Audreanna. A witness came forward and told how Heather walked in to find her bf and the victim together, and she vowed then that she was going to get Audreanna. This bf who knew of the plan to murder Audreanna, was also sleeping with Tina. Tina was apparently in love with him, and she was also furious to find out that he was sleeping with Audreanna! I think it’s so unfair that he got no time atall even though he knew of what happened and I believe he was the reason why, yet he never warned the victim! A lot of people that knew them say that the reason for it was the love triangle. Not the fight, that fight just added to it

  • @theresaclarke2100
    @theresaclarke2100 Před 10 měsíci +10

    Oh gosh! Am torn. My thoughts are that Heather took the easy way out. I feel she was the spoon that stirred the pudding. Tina, being a ‘protective’ mother whose daughter was ‘let down’, went along with it, likely fuelled by her own experiences and wanting an outlet for all of that. Britnee being the ‘let down’ was evidently wanting some kind of revenge. Most of us would feel the same having been apparently cheated on, but they would usually be ‘thought crimes’, not physical ones. A melee of emotion indeed. Tina showed apparent remorse but she was a primary offender who led her daughter. Tragic as her background may be, she had a choice and she made it. It was planned. Two babies don’t have their mother beside them. Audreanna cannot see her children grow up. Impact and consequences. Death sentence was available here and was given. Justice was served.

    The personal history that Tina Brown had lived is horrific. Of course, it is still up to each of us to make the world better than the one we were delivered into... and frankly, that bar wasn't set very high in her case. Instead, she dragged her child... and another 13-year-old child into literal hell with her. And resultingly, a very young mother and her own daughter's lives were each effectively ended (each in their own way, of course).
    Your commentary, including your social sarcasm, is refreshing and candid.

    I genuinely believe that living in a trailer park, in your own trailer home, and having close by neighbors & friends might actually be a fun way to co-exist. Some with husbands and/or kids & close-by friends. This could have been, had the girls' negative & violent traits not come to the forefront. Maybe they were actually too close together. Yet, my idea of living with say your college/highschool friends, with husband or not, with children or not, could have functioned as a type of dorm, with the people you love the most right there with you. It could have been a success pro-sociallly & financially, helping each other with their kids, even including some home schooling & fun activities for the adults. Yet, the girls in your story appeared to have been on a downward slope from the get, where it became a negative atmosphere with no return. Accept for the woman & mother that was killed, I can't really make a judgement on which girl/s should've gotten the worst punishments. They were all guilty & succumbed to punishment (no matter who grew up
    o.k, & who did not. There never should be any justification for behaving in such a violent & reprehensible manner. Shame on every one age 16 & up! Do you agree Emma?

      I don't agree with you at all. People who live in such places are drug addicts, alcoholics, and really terrible people as we see here. Living in a nice street with a better class/type of person is a much nicer and better way to live. I bet you can't find a "normal" family or person living jn a trailer park. By normal I just mean people who go to work and don't abuse substances or anything/anyone else. As Emma says the whole environment is dysfunctional.

Now I live in an upper middle class suburb, and I swear if it weren't for the better schools I'd leave. The only time people interact with you here is to complain, be snarky, report you for things... Meanwhile, here is someone who spent their childhood locked in a cage, abused every which way, starved, finally sprung by horrified cops....never kill any one in adulthood. OK. Different strokes. But what isn't debatable is no matter what happens to you in childhood, you do know right from wrong...afterall, she knew what her parents did was wrong. Definitely think Tina deserves the death sentence. Yes her childhood was horrific but that doesnt mean she gets to use that as an excuse for her actions and also i dont believe she was being fiercely protective of Britnee when she literally involved her in a murder that didnt need to happen in the first place.

    I don’t understand the deep dive into Browns life… This wasn’t a heat of the moment, anger fuelled killing due to lack of control as a result of the depraved life she suffered. It was planned and coordinated (albeit badly) which shows to me an inherent badness and lack of humanity. We all have choices to make no matter what circumstances/atrocities we are born in to. What choice we make mirrors are morals despite what we have suffered.

      Abused childrens’ brains can be underdeveloped and regular use of drugs potentially furthers that damage. Childhood trauma doesn’t only result in lack of emotional deescalation. Plotting a murder for trivial reasons can have its roots in abusive childhood although it’s rarely that simple.

    • @carlawinduss4665

      I agree in that why was not a similar deep dive in to Heather's life ? Or why not a deep dive in to Tina's mums life ? Just a bit surprised in to the empathy for Tina when unfortunately generational abuse and dysfunction happens all the time and most people never turn to heartless cold blooded killers like these three . To me it was more a crazed pack mentality that can happen when a ring leader eggs more impressive easily led followers rs to do a heinous crime . Tina being the eldest would have been the most influential. I think Emma is also showing a bit of bias because Tina is a woman . I think if Tina was a man ,even with a very dysfunctional and abusive past . I think think the death sentence would have not even been questioned .

    My issue with the death penalty here is that it seems to me that, in the United States, black perpetrators of white victims are far more likely to be executed than the reverse. I looked up the statistics and that is very true. Black perpetrators are also more likely to be sentenced to death in general. The jury was unanimous and typically in the case of white perpetrators, the jury won’t pursue the death penalty even for especially egregious crimes.

    Great video as always Emma! Though I wholeheartedly believe that Tina has gotten what she deserves in the death penalty. As for Heather, I think she deserves life in prison with no chance of parole, and I am not looking forward to the day that Britney gets out because she shows clear signs of being a budding psychopath if not one already.
    Speaking of people getting let off so easily like Heather, can you please look into the case of Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo, the Ken and Barbie killers. Thanks for your time Emma!

    I don't think a plea deal should even have been on the table as there was surely enough evidence by far, including from the victim herself, to convict all three without requiring one to turn on the others. Also, with the kidnapping element wouldn't that mean felony murder where even if Heather was involved in the premeditation and beating but not the final act of murder still make her equally as guilty under Florida law? She got off far too lightly.

    I can say my parents had it hard though were good parents it's no excuse for doing what these people do they know exactly what they are doing and should be punished

      You are assuming that everybody thinks and reacts the same and they just don't. It's just not that simple.
      Classic case: You can have a family of 5 who were exposed to the same kind of abuse. Its not unusual to have 5 different outcomes. It's why its important that in the UK, children in the care system should go through compulsory counselling like the Scandi countries and why? Because British jails are full of people who have been in the care system.
