This episode made me appreciate that I dont have any friends.
Yh me to. ❤
Were the tales of woe and abuse actually substantiated? Many defence attorneys cook up abuse, deprivation etc stories in an attempt to minimize the criminality of their clients and sympathy from the court. Just pointing out facts.
I was literally just thinking the exact same thing.
Yay to staying home & binge watching Emma xx
Ewwww People 😳😳😳 😅
First, I must congratulate Emma on her most precious new addition! How wonderful!
This story is sad, pitiable and horrific. At least, through it all, we have Emma's delightful wit and sarcasm. It's as refreshing as a crystal stream.
Oh wow, this is the case I suggested a couple of weeks or so ago. Truly horrifying, I sat with my hand over my mouth for much of the description of what happened to her. Poor poor girl. Sheer evil are those who perpetrated that heinous crime against her. And what a brave lady to have endured long enough to be able to tell people who did that to her before she succumbed to her injuries. Thank you for covering this, Emma xx
I feel that both of the older women should have gotten the same and the 16 year old needs to be in prison for the rest of her life in my opinion. They all were responsible for the murder and torture of that young mom.
I thought they were doing life
I watched a documentary about this , and watched police interview, absolutely horrific what this woman endured 😢 and yet she just about told dispatchers who it was before she passed away 😢 what a warrior
I think I saw the same same one. Truly horrific. Poor woman
Yes I've seen it recently so recognised the case x love how Emma has delivered it x
I think I just watched the interrogations a couple week ago. So sad.
It's just such an awful case 😢
Could I ask, what's the documentary called, please?
Thank you for doing this one. I watched the custody interviews the other day for this case. Absolutely heartbreaking. What broke my heart more was when the victim asked if she will see her babies again. As a mother I can’t think of anything worse. May her soul rest in peace.
Another case I would love to hear your take on is the Lucy Letby case. I think your insight will be great in comparison to what is available.
Personally I have heard enough of Letby case . It’s been covered a lot, tragic case
@@susanreid1873yes but Emma brings more professional takes on issues so I mostly want to hear her take on well known stories
I do want to say I definitely do not agree with the statement made by Emma that there’s no reason someone should be using a taser (even if they’re being attacked) because most women only use that type of item for protection and has many many times, saved women’s lives
I think it is based on location ... in England we can not own a taser as they are illegal. So depending on where you live can make you have different views based on how your raised. If your caught with a taser in England you will end up doing a prison sentence. Obviously other countries having a taser is a normal thing.
Yeah, I found that to be an odd comment. I have a gun in my house. I live in a very, very low crime suburb where there is almost no chance I'd ever need it. But you can bet if I did need to, I would. I don't really think that says anything about my emotional stability. But I also found her comments about trailer parks in general to be off base. That's kind of just a stereotype. Trailer parks are usually just working class neighborhoods. There are some bad ones, just like there are apartment complexes you wouldn't necessarily wanna be hanging out in.
To add: during other videos I've watched about this case, as well as interrogation footage, it was found the taser was Brittany's that she initially brought out.
It's 100% a difference in culture between the US and UK
@@leahsanders798 To your added part, I’m not surprised finding that out. She seemed to just be trouble all around
@@leahsanders798I agree completely. I live in an area that has beautiful trailer parks and there’s a lot of individual trailers on property. The trailer parks are nicer and well maintained and most are 55 an older communities. The individual trailers on property are not maintained and falling apart. Trailer parks have a bad reputation but most are very nice here and many are gated communities. I also feel much safer with my fire arm in my nightstand.
This is absolutely horrific! How can people be so evil?
I recently watched those interrogations, they acted as if they had done nothing wrong!! This was a terrible crime and bad childhoods are no excuse- sorry!
Exactly! There are people who grew up similar to the suspect, but would never do what she did to this woman. Her mentality is the problem!
I just keep thinking about the saying "with friends like that you don't need enemies" .
I can't understand how people - HUMANS, beings who's supposed to have a SOUL - can be this EVIL!!!
27:46 "My friends did this" 😢 WTF?!
I'm so happy with my dogs, dogs are the bestest friends 💞
I can agree with you so damn bad 😂❤
The worst that would happen is your dog's could have eaten your pepperoni pizza ?
"The fact that there is a stun gun there at all tells us that this environment was dysfunctional"...? Very odd comment. Plenty of people have stun guns for personal protection! It's a non-lethal way of fending off a potential attack. Pepper spray & Stun guns are actually recommended by police for women especially. My daughter-in-law has carried one for years. She worked in housekeeping in a hotel & always had it in her pocket. Certainly better than walking completely vulnerable into a hotel room where some psycho could be lying in wait to harm her! (Personally I prefer my firearm but I understand that isn't for everyone)
Btw: Stun gun & Taser are 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT things!!
I think it’s more of a difference between Britain and America
My heart goes out to her children and family
😢😥💔
I’m glad you did this story. I watched the interviews not long ago. I’m really annoyed that Heather got off so easily, especially since she had the motive, her boyfriend admitted he was sleeping with Audreanna. A witness came forward and told how Heather walked in to find her bf and the victim together, and she vowed then that she was going to get Audreanna. This bf who knew of the plan to murder Audreanna, was also sleeping with Tina. Tina was apparently in love with him, and she was also furious to find out that he was sleeping with Audreanna! I think it’s so unfair that he got no time atall even though he knew of what happened and I believe he was the reason why, yet he never warned the victim! A lot of people that knew them say that the reason for it was the love triangle. Not the fight, that fight just added to it
Oh gosh! Am torn. My thoughts are that Heather took the easy way out. I feel she was the spoon that stirred the pudding. Tina, being a ‘protective’ mother whose daughter was ‘let down’, went along with it, likely fuelled by her own experiences and wanting an outlet for all of that. Britnee being the ‘let down’ was evidently wanting some kind of revenge. Most of us would feel the same having been apparently cheated on, but they would usually be ‘thought crimes’, not physical ones. A melee of emotion indeed. Tina showed apparent remorse but she was a primary offender who led her daughter. Tragic as her background may be, she had a choice and she made it. It was planned. Two babies don’t have their mother beside them. Audreanna cannot see her children grow up. Impact and consequences. Death sentence was available here and was given. Justice was served.
This is a sad and horrific case. The betrayal, fear, and pain she endured are unimaginable.
There is a flea market in Escambia county, a friend of mine bought a stun gun it was very affordable, too easy to buy, actually. He bought it bc he didn't want a firearm but wanted protection if needed.
So evil
Adreanna caused betrayal first.
@dannysstart2218 Betrayal is a good reason to dissolve a relationship of any kind but is not a good reason for torture and murder ever, imo.
@@GM-nd1gx exactly.
Such a horrific case.
We watched Emma in the New Cardiff Theatre last night, and had the pleasure of meeting her husband, her insight, knowledge but at the same time empathy for the victims is amazing.
I'm scanning through the trial transcript. Such a horrific act of sadistic cruelty !!! 😔R.I.P AUDREANNA☹️
How do u do that? X
I googled : Audreanna Zimmerman murder trial , I'm sorry for the late reply 😊
Yes, Very Sadistic/Diabolical...
So wat did heather the friend do?
The personal history that Tina Brown had lived is horrific. Of course, it is still up to each of us to make the world better than the one we were delivered into... and frankly, that bar wasn't set very high in her case. Instead, she dragged her child... and another 13-year-old child into literal hell with her. And resultingly, a very young mother and her own daughter's lives were each effectively ended (each in their own way, of course).
Your commentary, including your social sarcasm, is refreshing and candid.
Thank you for your thorough research and compilation of the details of this absolutely horrifying case.
Cheers Emma! Hope your daughter is a light in your life (I know she is)!
When my girls told me they were being abused I reported it to the police that day and had a order of protection in place by the end of the week.
I myself was touched inappropriately at the age of 4 and then groomed and suffered sexual abused again at 8 this had nothing to do with my family as it wasn't family I am now 45 I have never tortured or killed anyone I also suffer from mental health there is just no excuse to harm another human being
I love how you tell the story more in depth
Poor poor girl 😢😢
Thanks again for giving the victim meaning Emma. 💜
My husband and I saw you live in Cardiff tonight and you were fantastic. I've followed you for years good luck in all you do ❤
How terrible I Hope Her Babies Are Being well cared For
I cannot help but laugh at your role plays. Thank you for expressing your frustration this way. It really does get in. What a terrible sad situation.
Hey Emma, I don’t know if you’ve noticed or if it’s just me, but your microphone seems to be having some feedback issue. When you speak, there’s often a buzzing sound that comes through.
Fantastic episode as always, thank you for all that you do!
I thought I was hearing something. High pitched sounds. X
I watched the interrogation. I find it so Haunting when Tina looks at the photos of Audreannas burnt charred body and says Haunt Me
I took that as her saying haunt Heather because this was really her plan. Tina was doing it to prove her loyalty to Heather and to regain her trust after sleeping with her husband.
Avoiding the cycle of abuse may be kind of like the fact that some psychopaths become EOD experts, Fireman, Surgeons, EMT workers, etc.❤
I genuinely believe that living in a trailer park, in your own trailer home, and having close by neighbors & friends might actually be a fun way to co-exist. Some with husbands and/or kids & close-by friends. This could have been, had the girls' negative & violent traits not come to the forefront. Maybe they were actually too close together. Yet, my idea of living with say your college/highschool friends, with husband or not, with children or not, could have functioned as a type of dorm, with the people you love the most right there with you. It could have been a success pro-sociallly & financially, helping each other with their kids, even including some home schooling & fun activities for the adults. Yet, the girls in your story appeared to have been on a downward slope from the get, where it became a negative atmosphere with no return. Accept for the woman & mother that was killed, I can't really make a judgement on which girl/s should've gotten the worst punishments. They were all guilty & succumbed to punishment (no matter who grew up
o.k, & who did not. There never should be any justification for behaving in such a violent & reprehensible manner. Shame on every one age 16 & up! Do you agree Emma?
I don't agree with you at all. People who live in such places are drug addicts, alcoholics, and really terrible people as we see here. Living in a nice street with a better class/type of person is a much nicer and better way to live. I bet you can't find a "normal" family or person living jn a trailer park. By normal I just mean people who go to work and don't abuse substances or anything/anyone else. As Emma says the whole environment is dysfunctional.
In my experience with working class neighborhoods, trailer parks, apartment complexes etc, my experience was as you described. Sometimes out of necessity, sometimes not. Now I live in an upper middle class suburb, and I swear if it weren't for the better schools I'd leave. The only time people interact with you here is to complain, be snarky, report you for things... I hate it. They treat the neighborhood kids terribly, and threaten them all the time. I'd say these are the most bitter, frightened unstable people I've ever lived around.
Single person to put their hand up for Richard Chase here lol...ooops! Just got home, thank you Emma that was fantastic! I've been to loads of true crime talks and that was by far the best one 🥰 You are the best! Crime and consistency for the win :-)
I don’t think it’s inappropriate to use a taser on somebody that’s going to attack me. It’s called self-defense? It doesn’t matter what she did to provoke the other person, you don’t get to attack them with violence. And if you do they have the right to defend them selves. Weapon or no weapon. It wasn’t a lethal weapon. She didn’t shoot her. I’m sorry, but I don’t think that she was in the wrong there.
Yh it wasn't inappropriate
I think it’s because they are illegal here in the uk
Tina's background does not excuse the horrific acts of violence she carried out.
I feel sick about heathers sentence especially when I rewatch her lies through fake tears
I do feel Tina was hung out to dry and I feel the mitigating circumstances were great
I didn’t realise how horrific her childhood was
Nonetheless if I was audreannas family I would want her to die
I was burnt 70% of my body with 3rd degree burns and I drove myself to hospital
I truly do feel for audreanna amd her children
She seemed to be a loving mother
This story is unfortunate
Again
When I watched the interrogation and saw Tina look at the photos of Audreannas burnt body when she cries out and asks her to haunt me haunt me I found it the most chilling
At that point I felt Tina did feel some kind of regret
Kind of reminds me of the Jessica Chambers case
These people who do awful things, they all seem to have a terrible story to tell. How much it true though? Or how much is proved to be true? Meanwhile, here is someone who spent their childhood locked in a cage, abused every which way, starved, finally sprung by horrified cops....never kill any one in adulthood. OK. Different strokes. But what isn't debatable is no matter what happens to you in childhood, you do know right from wrong...afterall, she knew what her parents did was wrong. No doubt in her mind about that being wrong...but somehow beating and setting fire to someone is just a symptom of your childhood?
On death row? Hmm...thinks...OK.
I’m so sorry you had to go through such an abhorrent childhood. You must be incredibly strong. Sending you very best wishes for now & the future ☺️💯❤️
I think that all 3 of them should never see day light again!EVIL🤬🤬🤬
Emma, I have been watching you for yrs and yrs..... I always loved your outlook, your perspective and delivery of these horrific crimes. Imagine my delight, when I found you on youtube! I went on an Emma Kenny marathon and watched all your videos, from start to now. I have the utmost respect for your passion and your empathy towards the victims. I would love it if you could cover a story that has haunted me since I heard about it, it was not a story that was covered in the media, I am not quite sure why :(
My husband and I visited their graves in TN, that is how moved I was by this crime, we live in Ontario. The case is that of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom. I thank you in advance 😘 P.S. Congratulations of your little bundle of joy, I am so very happy for you all! cheers
Hi Anna, Emma did cover the case you mention and it aired on or around 25/8/21 and the title of this was The Knoxville Murders. If you google the case title it will appear for you (I hope) it did for me. x
@@marlenerichardson4429 I must have missed it on my marathons....thank you so much fr the reply! I will look for it now cheers!!

0:02 Actually, it was March 24, 2010 when this happened, not a “dark night in October of 2010”, ma’am. Pensacola, FL, Escambia Co., Detroit Avenue area.
I even imagined these females laughing as she tried to put the fire out as she was burning! This is what happens when people aren’t honest with themselves and deal with their mental issues! They ended up taking all their anger, bitterness and rage out on this young woman for something petty! The guy should be charged too, even though he wasn’t at the scene,he still knew what happened and knew they killed that girl! Fact that it took 3 females to jump 1 female is despicable! All that crying like they didn’t do nothing! This type of stuff makes me 😡!
The guy didn't know anything... he was sleeping with them all oblivious to them killing
Hello Emma This was so horrific what happened to this lovely girl. JUSTICE FOR ARTHUR & STAR AND ALL THE WEE CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN MURDERED
Definitely think Tina deserves the death sentence. Yes her childhood was horrific but that doesnt mean she gets to use that as an excuse for her actions and also i dont believe she was being fiercely protective of Britnee when she literally involved her in a murder that didnt need to happen in the first place.
Wow, this case is absolutely heartbreaking. I don't know how you made it through this video, Emma? I had to stop it a few times before I could get to the end. Some people are just pure evil 😢
I don’t understand the deep dive into Browns life… This wasn’t a heat of the moment, anger fuelled killing due to lack of control as a result of the depraved life she suffered. It was planned and coordinated (albeit badly) which shows to me an inherent badness and lack of humanity. We all have choices to make no matter what circumstances/atrocities we are born in to. What choice we make mirrors are morals despite what we have suffered.
Abused childrens’ brains can be underdeveloped and regular use of drugs potentially furthers that damage. Childhood trauma doesn’t only result in lack of emotional deescalation. Plotting a murder for trivial reasons can have its roots in abusive childhood although it’s rarely that simple.
I agree in that why was not a similar deep dive in to Heather's life ? Or why not a deep dive in to Tina's mums life ? Just a bit surprised in to the empathy for Tina when unfortunately generational abuse and dysfunction happens all the time and most people never turn to heartless cold blooded killers like these three . To me it was more a crazed pack mentality that can happen when a ring leader eggs more impressive easily led followers rs to do a heinous crime . Tina being the eldest would have been the most influential. I think Emma is also showing a bit of bias because Tina is a woman . I think if Tina was a man ,even with a very dysfunctional and abusive past . I think think the death sentence would have not even been questioned .
Hi Emma could you do a deep dive into the Erika Murray case, this has kept me up at night and I feel that justice was not served, perhaps you could help me understand why. Here's hoping Tracy 😊
Yeah, I would love to hear that case too!
I literally just watched these monsters interrogation videos 2 days ago. Look forward to hearing a case i know about but told in a way i haven't heard.
It's also horrific that one of the womens daughters was involved and that they walked in and an argument ensued then dragged out of her own trailer, after being hurt 🤕 thats what the police say on the interrogation and motive was about a bloke
My issue with the death penalty here is that it seems to me that, in the United States, black perpetrators of white victims are far more likely to be executed than the reverse. I looked up the statistics and that is very true. Black perpetrators are also more likely to be sentenced to death in general. The jury was unanimous and typically in the case of white perpetrators, the jury won’t pursue the death penalty even for especially egregious crimes.
Audrianna was mixed race
@@katywuste9054 it’s still statistically more likely for a black perpetrator to be sentenced to death than a white perpetrator.
How were those statistics calculated?
1:09:06 It’s horrific what these women did to Audreana. My heart goes out to her children.
Sorry, I just can’t watch this again! I just watched it a couple of weeks ago. I know yours would be a deeper dive, I just can’t hear it so soon!
I like the cases that have not been done , done and done again, by every crime channel on CZcams. Karla holmoka , is a case that has 50 shows, podcasts, docs and you tube channels on. Let’s learn about RECENT, NON COVERED or not over covered cases .
Never been more happy to be antisocial in my life
Well presented and researched
I Can't even consider them ppl, Bcz these are absolute DEMONS. Even if she cheated with anyone's Partner, That mean they cheated as well Rgt?? 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️SMDH, Why not attack the so-called man?? Ty so much for ur insight on this, Some details I didn't hear on other YT platforms, May this young lady cont'u to RIHP 🕊🕯🌹, This was truly GOD That enabled her to live to tell who did this Horrific crime to her🙌🏽🙌🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Typical waste of space these devils are ....
The death penalty it is just part of the law. If ppl want to commit heinous crimes, they should live in a state without it. There are plenty of them. Besides, the sentence isn't given that often. When it is the appeals process takes years.
Great video as always Emma! Though I wholeheartedly believe that Tina has gotten what she deserves in the death penalty. As for Heather, I think she deserves life in prison with no chance of parole, and I am not looking forward to the day that Britney gets out because she shows clear signs of being a budding psychopath if not one already.
Speaking of people getting let off so easily like Heather, can you please look into the case of Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo, the Ken and Barbie killers. Thanks for your time Emma!
Why was a 13 year old girl asked why she didn't intervene when grown adults were beating a young woman to death? She is a child! She was terrified!
Thank you as always for your coverage!! I've heard this case before, you gave details I ha never heard!! You Rock Emma ❤
The police said the stun gun wasn't Adriannas it was Brittanys
This case is so sad and scary. I cant imagine what was going through her mind when this was happening. Emma you delivered this with such care and grace.
I became interested in individuals who were murdered 40 years ago, as I have always loved psychology and social history, you think with age you would become kinda desensitized, but in fact, it is very much the opposite, I now believe in the death penalty and it never fails to horrify me what humans can do to each other.
Great job on your breakdown and perspective in this! 👏
13 is my sons age. There is no way he would cope with witnessing that.
Saw you in Swansea last night you were amazing.....this case is horrific
I don't think a plea deal should even have been on the table as there was surely enough evidence by far, including from the victim herself, to convict all three without requiring one to turn on the others. Also, with the kidnapping element wouldn't that mean felony murder where even if Heather was involved in the premeditation and beating but not the final act of murder still make her equally as guilty under Florida law? She got off far too lightly.
Thanks em. Stay safe everyone wherever you are.
Thank you I’m so glad is the first time I’ve ever watched or listen to you and the way you were in depth is really really great so I will be subscribing. Very very good job very good.
While I just recently heard this one from another channel, I still LOVE getting your view on it. Ive always loved your take on different crimes.
I live in Escambia County Florida. I've been in the Pensacola area since 1995. I can't believe it's been 14 years since I heard about this case.
Absolutely heartbreaking case 💔
Love love your t-shirt!! ❤
That poor girl and what they put her through my heart breaks for her children aswell 😢
So sad, im literally at a loss for words. People who think they have the right to end someones life, especially over something petty, those people are true evil! This case reminds me of the Alison Botha case. I just found it and its shocking! Maybe Emma can cover that case bc its not widely known.
Thats not petty stop cheating
If you take a life, you deserve a life behind bars, not 25 years etc.
My mum
And her brother and sister went into a children's home from the age of 3 my grandfather was Schizophonic and used hit my nan and the kids and she had 7 and couldn't cope my mum
Saw her mother again when she was 8 when they told her that was her mother my mother was the eldest and at 8 years old used to cook the meals for her 6 brothers and sisters
Amd my
Mother was a compassionate human being sadly I lost my mum October 2020 aged 70
I can say my parents had it hard though were good parents it's no excuse for doing what these people do they know exactly what they are doing and should be punished
No one has a perfect childhood but it's how you deal with it that makes the difference
You are assuming that everybody thinks and reacts the same and they just don't. It's just not that simple.
Classic case: You can have a family of 5 who were exposed to the same kind of abuse. Its not unusual to have 5 different outcomes. It's why its important that in the UK, children in the care system should go through compulsory counselling like the Scandi countries and why? Because British jails are full of people who have been in the care system.
I watched their interrogation videos , to my understanding they were all sleeping with Heather’s husband which he basically confirmed and Tina was mad because Audreanna told Heather .
Hey, Emma! Could you cover the case of the Menendez Twins?? I truly believe they were railroaded by the media and were actually victims of horrific abuse at the hands of their father.
Hardly need yet another documentary about them. It's been done to death already.
@alimurray1915 Not really. Majority of the documentaries are biased and don't actually look at the evidence of abuse that wasn't allowed in court. There's a reason why people still think they're psychopaths.
Just watched this on a American channel so would love to see what you shine light on x
Thank you for saying some hard truths! I subscribed to your channel and I enjoy listening to your opinions and the reasons why. That’s what a lot of you tubers are afraid to do..express their opinions
Emma, could you please do a deep dive into Anita Cobby's murder? It's an Australian one. ❤
That's a heartbreaking case, beautiful lady too.
With friends like that……
Just horrific.. not sure if you ever covered case of Erica Green. .I think she was approx 4 years old described as ' precious Doe,' ..let down terribly by her mother and ' step' I'd say father but doesn't seem right ..so terrible
Hi Emma, this story was beyond heartbreaking 😢 I was hoping you could do a video on the recent murder and torture of Shakira Spencer, I read it in the news recently and would love your detailed input on it x
Three of the most scary mugshots I've ever seen!!!!
I couldn't believe what I was hearing during this story. 😔
Hey Emma, I know you're enjoying your daughter. Daughters are the best. Also son's as I have one of each!
Our daughter is 17, she was wonderful up until she went to senior school. Not so much now.
Thank you Emma xx
I think all of them, should of gotten the same sentence, except for Brittney and only because of her age! It was absolutely over kill and horrifying what they did!!! Shame on everyone of them😞
Dear Emma, you look wonderful tonight!
Can't wait for this one emma
What a fighter to live thru that pain and name your killer's and making sure her babies where looked after she also told the EMT I thought we where going to make up so so sad
Love the T-shirt.
Hi emma, wanted to see you Tuesday in Swansea but couldn't get tickets close enough to see you. Im blind as a bat unless I can sit close. Never mind, I hope you will come to Swansea again.
Hope your little bundle is doing well
1:09:44 Heather was asking for her family lawyer. I assume this is what got her off.
Another amazing video, thank you❤
I wanted to suggest Joel Steinberg, Hedda Nussbaum and their adopted daughter Lisa.very facinated to hear ypur take
Omg..I can't unsee those mugshots!there should've been a warning!😮😢
Me and my sister are coming to your show next week in Blackpool we're so excited
This case is absolutely heartbreaking there are no winners at all, Heather is definitely a coward who threw her friends under the bus to save her own skin and as awful as this crime is I don’t think Tina deserves the death penalty what’s really sad is that all the women involved are a product of their environment especially Tina imagine what should could have accomplished if she had the stable upbringing she deserved what a tragedy story 🥺🥺🥺
There's a photo of Tina Brown years before giving a talk at a school she looks like a different person. She threw her life away and is now labelled a murderer thats her legacy.
Can you please have a look at the Claire Tiltman case thank you
