The fact that she sent a letter to his mother shows she still doesn’t take any responsibility in her actions . I DO NOT believe someone who has done something so sickening can be rehabilitated in 5 years if ever.

I can't believe they could think 5 years would stepping foot in prison is the correct sentencing for what she did especially with what you stated with not taking any responsibility!! I don't have any empathy in this case towards the mother which normally have some. I understand how over powering thoughts can be. I do wonder if she has had these voices which admitted though

As a mother of three who has suffered from post natal depression and had suicidal thoughts i have no sympathy or empathy for this woman. Do you know what went through my head when I wanted to die? Not "oh I will kill my kids" not at all, it was "my kids will be better off with their dads and I want to die" there is absolutely no need to kill your children to end your own life! My eldest two are 15 and 11 and I have been separated from their dad for 10 years but he is a great dad and they have a happy loving home waiting with him and his partner and their half brother over there. My youngest I am with his dad and he is also great. These babies had a great father, she could have let him have the kids and taken her own life at any time. She did this purely out of spite and revenge imho.

So one of the many things I love about your videos, is how you use the psychology of the people in these cases and relate it to all of us and what we go thru in our day to day lives. What you said about ruminating on an ex when you are depressed because you are so certain that if you can just fix this one thing, it surely will make you happy, resonated so strongly with me. I was diagnosed with BPD when I was young and have had to manage it lifelong (after losing both my father and sister to diseases at a young age). And I love how much you discuss BPD on your videos and how you address it and explain it to people who may not be familiar with it. And then later in this video you said something about being fixated even though you don’t know what’s around then next corner in the future. I just love when you put things I have felt in the past or even at times, in the present, and you word it in such a way, I really feel like I am benefitting from your psychotherapy background personally just as much as my interest in true crime (which comes from my own personal experiences with murders and trials). That makes your video so very unique, Emma. You’re a real treasure.

As a health professional, I don’t think anything health services could have done would have changed the outcome. She still believes she’s not to blame, meaning she’s not taking responsibility and mental illness or not, you have to take some responsibility for your own health and own actions. I get so many people on a daily basis asking for help but then every single thing you offer you them is rejected or refused. Some people so desperate and are so thankful for anything but others just want to manipulate people and situations around them and to me, personally, this sounds like one of those cases/ people. I feel sorry for the father, she killed his children because ultimately she lost her fancy lifestyle and wanted her husband back that she threw away. She looks like she had a nice home, was probably not going to struggle financially, good family support but it wasn’t enough for her. One of the most common things I hear when asking people about suicidal thoughts or thoughts to harm anyone else is ‘I’d never hurt anyone else’ She could have left those children with their father, her parents and ended her own life if that’s what her choice was. So so sad and the 5 year sentence is a joke. She will no doubt try to interfere with his new life as well, I’ll put money on it that this story will continue past her release.

I work with a guy that is very much like her!! Has a serious God complex, and has even went on tik-tok bragging about how he's "untouchable at work" he literally said that!!
This guy is an absolute freak!! I had to threaten to put a restraining order on him to get him to leave me alone and stay away from me. His response to that was that I was the one he would press charges on for bothering him when we have cameras in our shop (welding shop) and he was the one going out of his way getting himself involved with what I'm working on even after I said no, just forcing interactions, and I would just walk Way..I would have to stop doing my job and leave my work area to get away from him.. I ultimately had to go to the other side of the shop (which I did everything chance I would get any other time before officially being moved over there) just to get away from this guy!! I refuse to quit my job just to get away from this guy (I shouldn't have too) given he has done more than enough to get fired, and should be fired.. 3 owners in the company and 2 of the 3 want this guy fired, and because the 1 refuses to fire him, is the only reason he still has a job.. and I can't wait for the day he actually keeps up with his behavior and he ends up getting himself in over his head where there's no going back.. and he ultimately gets fired for his actions.. because he's one of those that doesn't take accountability for his actions, as far as he is concerned, he has done no wrong.. but we all know he is highly delusional!

England has some of the most softest laws for what we call here in the USA felonies! Sometimes I get angry here when people get 50 years with a minimum of 25! But for her to murder her 2 babies and destroy so many lives and get out so easily! Shame on the court system! Maybe they should take off the wigs so they can think!

@Skyler_xxxPD I mean biologically it’s true. Women do tend to have a more ingrained, instinctive bond with their children. That’s not to say men don’t, of course they do, but we *carry* them, we *birth* them.
The statistics show that women are rarely the perpetrators of things like this whereas men are (this is evidenced by the fact that most people who kill their families/children are men). However, I think we can acknowledge this and also acknowledge that when it comes down to someone killing their children especially for revenge as Samantha so clearly did, that should go out the window. Maybe she was struggling with her mental health, but how many of us are and don’t go ahead and brutally steal away our babies lives?!
Samantha should’ve got life with no possibility of parole, and in prison not a mental hospital, in my opinion x

It would be amazing for us (the people world wide) should be able to have a say in weather we want someone like her walking amongst us!! That's just my opinion, mental disorder or not, she was still in control of her actions, she still chose to do what she did!! She chose to kill her own two babies to make her husband pay!! She intentionally chose to kill her own babies to make her husband pay in the most heinous way possible!! If it was up to me, she would never see the light of day, as a free woman!! I believe her "mental health" was just a rooze to help her get away with murder, given the way she doesnt hold accountability for anything!! She was driven by selfish greed!!
I'm not disreguarding or downplaying mental health in anyway shape or form but there is no way her mental health has anything to do with her manipulative plan to make the choice to murder those poor babies with the sole goal to hurt their father in the most brutal way!! And to let her out of the mental facility without her spending a day in prison for these murders is not only a slap in the face to the father but it's just disrespectful and disgraceful and tarnishing the legacy of those babies memorial, for her to be let out on the 5th anniversary of their death.. if anything let her out any other day than that specific day, if they let her out ever at all!! But there is absolutely no justice in this case, she ultimately got exactly what she wanted in the end, and that's the worst thing about it!! I do believe she can and will end up doing it again if given the chance!!

What I find weird... I've phoned all of the crisis teams to be talked down while having a mental breakdown. The one time I phoned the NHS one, they got social services involved and for that I'm grateful. They assessed my son many times and been to his nursery and they know he's in absolutely no danger, it's me who's in danger and for that I have a support worker who works for social services. It took 1 phone call for them to help me. I find it so strange she spoke to these people so many times and not once did they send in social services, even just to help her. In the UK a social worker will help you (if you get a good one), they'll come and take them out for a couple of hours once a week just to give mum some rest bite. I'm really disgusted they didn't step in here.

Also, when someone says “I am hearing voices in my head” they’re automatically giving themselves away that they do not, in fact, have auditory hallucinations.
An auditory hallucination isn’t *in* your head, it’s as real as someone standing in front of you speaking to you. It sounds like it’s outside your head, just like anyone else’s very real voice.

Nicholas Crews (school shooter) was saying the voices in his head were telling him to like guns and kill people. The officer interviewing him told him something like "I think that's just your voice because you like guns, right? And you killed people, right? So yah that's just your voice." He just kinda sat there 😳 stunned that someone wasn't letting him use that as an excuse. He also tried to act (badly) like he didn't know where he was when he was getting arrested and the officers just told him to shut up.
