    As a Cuban American who grew up with two first languages, I can’t help but shake my head at the teaching method of Korean R&L sound. Anyone who has ever heard the Spanish long rolled “R” and short rolled Spanish “R” knows that the most accurate American sound is the American “D” sound as in “taddah”, which is the exact ㄹ sound….but sounds NOOOTHING like an “L” in English. It is a soft, pelletized ‘d’. Not D as in “Dan” but ‘d’ as in “taddah”

    ★How to learn Korean fast!★
    1. Listen to the pronunciation of Koreans and read the sentences aloud several times.
    (It's better to read quickly.)
    2. Read the 100 Korean words a day. Don't try to memorize them. Just read along. Just refer to the examples. It's important to do 100 each a day.
    3. After watching your favorite Korean video (drama), don't look at the screen and just listen to the sound several times.
    4. After studying Korean on CZcams, write comments in Korean. (You have to talk a lot in Korean to improve your Korean language quickly. ^^)

      @@serene9532 this is a late response I know (and you have probably figured it out by now) but to make the sound hit the roof of your mouth with your tongue fast like you are saying the L sound quickly. Don't hold your tongue there just strike with it (I hope this makes sense lol)

      Thank you for posting. Are you asking whether ㅜ is written as 우 but pronounced as 'wu'? Could you clarify so that we can provide you with an accurate answer?

    • @serene9532
      @serene9532 Před 5 lety

      see 5:45. the ㅂ is the last consonant i.e. batchim position, so in this case it gets converted to an M sound. say 입니다 5 times super-fast. it kinda gets turned into 임니다. hope this helped :)
