    WHAT IS TALK HEATHEN?
Talk Heathen is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared toward long-form and on-going dialogue with theists & atheists about religion, theism, & secularism. Talk Heathen is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
Talk Heathen is filmed in front of a live studio audience every week at the Freethought Library of the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop & support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing & friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of government-religion separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists & to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

Of course God was the first mover. Before Him, no one else had got up and danced (presumably to the music of the spheres)
Maybe he danced rings around Saturn.
Being the father, he was dad dancing, of course, moves as tired and hackneyed as the same old arguments dragged out of the past by apologists.

Have those theists never thought that the initiation of the first move, the prime mover event, could be the death of the god ?
They should consider it. Seriously. Because that is such an evident idea that it was in the texts that influenced Genesis.

This caller posed a question, but his thoughts and conclusions were not well-structured.
Even though we lack empirical evidence for events at the beginning of the universe (t=0), we can at least agree that something caused it to come into existence. Abstract concepts like these are often explored through philosophical arguments.
If we accept that something caused the universe's existence, we're left with two possibilities: intentional or non-intentional causation. Christians attribute the cause to God, suggesting intentional design. However, making this claim is pre-mature, as the universe could have emerged from a non-intentional cause.

At the end of the call it was clear the caller wasn't listening like he should, or he's so indoctrinated he can't fathom the thought his god may not exist.

The unmoved mover - isn't that Aisling Bea? She says she won't even go see sad movies in case she is moved. She wanted to do her set sitting down, but then it couldn't legally be called 'standup' - heyooo!
More seriously - why does there need to be an 'unmoved mover'? If there is one, why can't there be two? Or any finite number? If there were (at least) one, how do you know it still exists? How do you know it is a being of the type you call a 'god'? How do you know what other properties it had, or has (if it still exists)?
'Unmoved mover' doesn't actually give you _anything_. And that's even _assuming_ that it exists in the first place, since it very well might _not_.

If a creation requires a creator, movement a mover, then what created the creator? Something can't come from nothing, except god because a universe could never have always existed. Just look at the trees!

Again with this word "god." Given the thousands of mutually-incompatible gods proposed over human history, the word has no meaning. It's whatever a believer wants to say it is, and few of them agree with each in all particulars, even if of the same congregation of the same sect of the same religion. The onus should ALWAYS be placed on the apologist to persuade the hundreds of millions of religious people who don't agree with them, before trying to convince the atheist to agree with their personal delusions.
