What cut are you using for the chicken fried steak? I always use cube steak. BTW, I learned how to make it from you. I'll say that I borrowed a little from Stalekracker by mixing flour and pancake mix for my breading. The secret to my white gravy is bacon grease. My wife begs me to make it all the time.

Without a doubt, this is the best "East meets West" collaboration since Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson did the 2000 movie "Shanghai Noon". I couldn't stop laughing, and the chemistry of the Uncle Roger and Cowboy Kent enjoying each other's antics... I would give a week's pay to see a behind the scenes video of the stuff they couldn't include, as they guys let their hair down off camera. I have a strong suspicion that Shannon got into the fun too.

I was thinking the same thing as the other commenters - the chemistry in this episode was incredibly. These guys make the perfect comedy team.

@@shrimpy7862 it is a waste. Esp since this guy is priding himself with how good his beef produce is. notice how the coating isnt evenly distributed on the final cooked steak. You can see parts with just grayish looking steak. Thats because the juices from the steak gets trapped steaming the steak underneath and separates the coating which will lead to soggy weird meat in the middle. This technique requires the steak to be thin (need to be flattened out) to remain evenly crispy. His steak was too thick. And a coating with crackers... yeah only someone whos high on crackers would think that would better than a proper steak crust thats made with maillard reaction

I love cowboy Kent, he honestly reminds me of my dad. My dad would always take his cowboy hat off after I got home from my second deployment, I always told him to stop but he said “you’ve earned my respect and I’m thankful for you”. But I’ll say I was kind of cringing with some of the cussing and dirty jokes. But Mr Kent rolled with it and they both made a great energetic and funny video here! Congrats to both! This was a collaboration that I didn’t know that I needed! And thank you to all of my fellow veterans!! 🫡🫡🫡🫡

I'm a casual fan of both Cowboy Kent Rollins & Uncle Roger. I'll watch their videos and shorts whenever they pop up. When this was suggested to me when I logged on to CZcams. It was a quick "Yes Please!". A great hilarious and such a great collaboration. These are the collaborations you want to see. The chemistry was spot on. Cowboy Kent is the real deal! I loved this video and the collab was FANTASTIC! Been a subscriber of Cowboy Kent for many many years and tried many of his recipes. Found Uncle Roger last year and I am terrified to mess up fried rice. (My partner makes his in a cast iron pan). So good. So SO good! Thanks for a good time, Uncle Roger!

I remember Cowboy Kent on The Food Network. It wasn't Chopped but a different show...with the aprons. Anyway, I'm so glad to see how far he's come. I remember when he was brand new in the extended cooking world (imo it's when people who don't follow cooking know who you are) and I'm just happy for his career. I wish him more and more success and hopefully, one day, I can visit his restaurant.

Kent was on "Chopped: Grill Masters" and won. He was also on a show called "Throwdown: With Bobby Flay" which was basically Bobby going to different chef's towns and competing against them. I think it was like town hall reps or something that were the judges. This was before the "Beat Bobby Flay" we know today. I might be a bit of a fan lol
He was also on a show called Cutthroat Kitchen. He had to cut stuff with a spur... connected to a boot... connected to a mannequin. Hilarious 😂
