Is normal Legacy Reanimator better than this deck?
Short answer: no?
Yes
There's a reason Worldgorger Dragon Combo isn't played anymore in Legacy and why Dragon got taken off the banlist back in 2015. It's always been one of my favorite combos, but it's just nowhere as good as Griselbrand, Archon of Cruelty, Atraxa, etc. Worldgorger Dragon doesn't win by itself and needs another card to help actually end the game.
Not to mention, Mono-Black Reanimator isn't affected by Wasteland, gets to play way more disruption, and has an easier time just hard-casting creatures past graveyard hate. Your opponent could start the game off with four Leyline of the Void in play, a Tormod's Crypt, and Rest in Peace, but they still lose to you going Swamp -> Lotus Petal -> Dark Ritual -> Dark Ritual -> Grave Titan.
6:20 Pithing needle costs 1, they're playing Gyruda Companion, they can't have it in their deck.

I have never played legacy before, but for some reason I am addicted to Harry's legacy videos!
It's a pretty fun format! I still like Vintage more, but Legacy is easier to find opponents for. It's also cheaper than you think (even on paper) if you're willing to play non-blue decks. Legacy Burn is actually cheaper than Burn decks in other formats because it's a bunch of basic mountains and commons/uncommons. Nothing in Death & Taxes is on the Reserve List.
Then there's the option of dunking on people playing complete jank like Oops! All Spells, Meathooks (a.k.a. Slivers), or Mono-Blue Omnishow 😄

gyruda cant exactly use pithing needle, it can use spyglass but thats not saga fetchable

I built a World Gorger deck back when they first unbanned the dragon in legacy. It always felt really inconsistent and bad (but it was a budget build and was essentially just built to turbo the combo as fast as possible, with basically no interaction.

hey ive been messing around with that mono blue upheavel deck for a few weeks now and after swaping out thought moninitor for rings, putting paradox engine, mind slaver in the sideboard for combo finishes it feels pretty strong would like to see your experience of it. Oh and upgrading the mana with a 1 minomo, 2 Acadmy ruins, and mostly for memes 2 thespian stages

At 7:45, I think you should take yhe barinstorm rather than force, that removes both blue card and a steong way to dig out of the troll

It's was banned for years in Legacy lmao...this is a really old combo that was immediately discovered when Worldgorger Dragon was printed.

I wonder if orcish bowmaster maked this viable again in cedh, my gut says no, but I might test it out again.

This by no means is a new deck, just an upgraded one. My buddy has been playing this deck for the past 4 years. Know your facts before posting videos
I have a combo for my Commander deck with Worldgorger Dragon and Obliterate. Tap all resources, throw down or reanimate Worldgorger and then cast Obliterate 🤌🏻
I guess that last deck was just hatebeat.deck and just put in a bunch of tech cards.
