@@KingofJank Glad I caught these two. I was planning to run Shivan Gorge and Stensia Bloodhall instead of my original plan of Comet Storm and Fireball for less chance of disruptions, but I think Sunscorched Desert and Piranha Marsh are better options just on the off chance someone could counter the former two's Activated Abilities.
I was trying to explain this combo to someone who's newer to magic -- I wasn't explaining it very well so I just typed it into youtube. This video was exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

How have I never heard of using Flameshadow Conjuring as the 4th Animate Dead!? Solid Combo!
Great explanation of the combo to newer players. I have played this combo in Vintage, but also in EDH, where I used it in Riku of the Two Reflections to kill my opponents with an exponentially large fireball, but also with effects that grant your spells flash to save your board from sweepers. It's a great card, high risk / high reward.
Thanks, I try to keep it easy to understand! Riku is another great card I missed that can combo with worldgorger.

I play Worldgorger combo in my Judith the Scourge Diva deck and Piranha Marsh is great card to have out when you start the combo. Worldgorger is also really strong with Kroxa and can win on turn one with the right opening hand. I would also like to mention Soulgorger Orgg as Worldgorger's underrated brother from that cycle. I play the Soulgorger Orgg with Children of Korlis and Sanguine Bond. He's also in my Greven, Predator Captain deck

This is fun. Would make land fall style deck devastating. Lol but the one thing I would have added to the video would have been "when WG Dragon leaves play, everything comes back to the battlefield. You control the order of what comes into play."
Mainly for the newbies to the game that are still figuring out mechanics.

@@KingofJank landfall is cool. But the way the video is awesome because "Plop here's the combo" and just let our little brewing brains get into a tizzy on what to do with the combo. Tho Impact Tremors is a great start.

and i thought MY VIDEO was terrible. you bring up some neat ideas of cards i didn't know about but this doesn't help people comprehend how Worldgorger works. This is more of "in a perfect world where your opponents literally can't do anything to interact with what your doing". It is a powerful card, but if it fails to do what it needs to do your normally in a position you can't recover to compete anymore. There are many judges who do not know what kind of judge call to make when someone actually interrupts the combo.
You need a base of understanding to know how to use a combo within the rules of the game. This video is explaining how the card and it's abilities appear on the stack and how it plays out rule-wise, in regards to WGD's most popular combo.
Any situation where a combo works is a "perfect world", it's up to the player to see that window of opportunity.
I use the combo as a backup win-con in my Kaalia of the Vast EDH. Kaalia will always be hated out by removal, so the deck needs other ways to win aside from cheating fatties into play. Dragon Tempest is the crucial card along with burial spells like Entomb, Buried Alive and looting/rummaging spells. And yes, the latest build of the deck includes Anje - a vampire!

my question is if you are constantly in the loop, where do you have priority to cast anything at sorcery speed if this loop keeps happening? dumb question probably

That explains how it can keeping come back, but what about attacking? It sounds like it's a repeat of bringing back then getting rid without hurting the opponents.... if I understand this, if I had 6 mana tapped, used that enchantment, to exile my permanent then bring them back again I can use the 6 land again till I have a board full of creatures?

Eye of the Storm. It can lead to crazy shit. My personal favorite is pairing it with Hive Mind and a Pact card or Endless Swarm

Had this deck in the early 2000s someone stole it out of my back pack at a states tourney. Made me quit MTG, had so much invested in that deck.
