  • Kimberli West was young and always on the go until unexpected illness upended her life. After ignoring her subtle symptoms, Kimberli’s wake-up call came when she found herself passed out in the emergency room. Kimberli’s doctors diagnosed her with severe ulcerative colitis, inflammatory joint disease, and chronic anemia. But at barely 30 years old, what she thought could be easily controlled by medication led her on a medical journey: nearly 20 surgeries and the fight of her life.
On the podcast, Crystal talks with Kimberli about her health battles and life-altering hidden disability. After losing everything that she had valued at the time of her diagnosis, Kimberli is learning to find joy in her suffering. Hear her powerful story of transformation and how she’s using her health challenges to bring attention to God’s sustaining power and provision in the midst of chronic illness.

Wow. I Can so relate to your testimony. I have a chronic illness and clinical depression and have gone through the ringer (not to the extent you have). I appreciate your authenticity and the raw reality you are able to paint through your words of people that suffer with chronic illness. God finds the perfect way to stop us in our worldly pursuits and redirect our focus and attention on Him.

    Thank you!
Really needed to be reminded of how blessed I am through the pain! Having such intimate time with Christ Jesus is The Blessing-Glorifying HIM through it all.
Was diagnosed with chronic IC & fibromyalgia 22 years ago. Recently having a set back with Epstein Barr (chronic fatigue syndrome)
Please pray HIS Will done; In CHRIST we can♥️

Thank you dear sister for sharing your story with us. If you are able to get up each day trusting in the Lord, then His Grace is sufficient for all of us. I am also seeing the flip side of my suffering as you and this brother have said "My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You." Job 42:5 🫂 All in our review mirror one day soon.✝🎺

I have alot of those symptoms from chronic lyme disease. Anxiety, depression, brain fog, a tremor, flu like symptoms, shaky spells.
