So far we have talked about how to use the Chroma Key and the green screen as well as how to animate Lower 3rd graphics using the Downstream Key. In today’s video I will teach you how to put the Company Logo AND the animated Lower 3rds onto the screen at the same time using your ATEM Mini Pro. And since we are at it, how about throwing in a timer and a ticker? So get ready for this simple and easy step by step tutorial!

Hi Steph. I’ve been enjoying your videos! I have an ATEM mini Pro ISO. Is there a way I can start my production with my logo on a black background full screen and then mix into my cameras, plus have downstream keys on air all the time? I won’t have the ATEM plugged into a laptop once I’ve loaded up my graphics. Is this scenario possible seeing as there is only 1 media player on the PRO? I would love to start and end my videos with my logo full screen PLUS use the downstream key for smaller graphics. Thanks very much

Could use OBS instead of H2R? How to input lower thirds live from another computer?
Great advice about upstream vs downstream key. Putting the logo bug as an upstream key and just leaving it on is brilliant. I will practice tomorrow. Are you thinking of explaining macros for making the ‘punching in ‘ of the various downstream keys easier.

@@StephLeeTech Have you ever used the Stream Deck? If so, would you recommend this for the atem mini extreme?
@@RelivitMedia Hey yes I have used the Stream Deck before and I find it really useful however, again my personal preferences I prefer to use the native ATEM software. My advice is to master the use of the ATEM first, then decide if the Stream Deck will suit your production purposes.

Hey man! Very useful video! But I have a question. Why does the laptop needs to be connected via ethernet to the atem? i‘d like to stream directly to my router cause my laptop is too weak for streaming... any chance using overlays without the ethernet connection? or is it possible to split the ethernet port on the atem?!
Hi! My setup is such that the laptop shares its internet connection with the ATEM. Yes you can connect the ATEM directly to the router as well, the Laptop should be able to find the ATEM with the proper settings.
Steph how u can input your own png lower third instead of the lower third they give u.. u can use a graphic for the logo but can I use that same feature a a lower third.. I have my own lower thirds that I would like to bring up... I see some css there but don’t know how to reference a graphic to come up

Hi Steph. Thanks for your video, really helps us to live stream for our church messages. I am having problems with live streaming. It seems that my laptop does not see the ATEM MINI PRO AS WEBCAM with only ethernet cable, however the laptop sees the ATEM when it is connected through USB-C. I have check the stream key. it is all fine. any thoughts
Hi Jose! What you have just described is exactly how the ATEM Mini Pro is meant to work. If you connect it to the USB-C, it works as a webcam. If you connect via the Ethernet port, it functions as the whole switcher thing that the ATEM Mini Pro is meant to be. However if you mean that when you plug in the ethernet cable and the laptop does NOT detect the ATEM, try restarting your 1. ATEM Mini Pro and 2. Your laptop. There was another guy in the channel that had the same problem. Restarting the devices made the laptop detect the console, somehow. Let me know if it works/doesn't.
@@StephLeeTech thanks Steph. I managed to sort it out. Initially when I go to CZcams it says connect your software encoder to see the preview. I did that, then press on air. But I just have to wait for 10 to 20 seconds then it says " it seems you are ready to go live, then the preview will appear. Thanks again for your time. You are a 🌟

Steph Lee , I’m confused about the connections of the laptop in this video. You said connect the laptop using the Cat6 cable , then you said connect the laptop to Atem by HDMI. How & why if Have the Cat5 connected to my router .
Hi Leo! Tks for watching my videos! Connecting laptop and atem via Cat6 cable=gives atem internet connection and allows laptop to view Atem Software Control Panel. Connect atem via Hdmi to laptop=allows view of laptop screen as input. Hope that clarifies!

Hi the green screen is overlayed using the Upstream key while logos are displayed using the Downstream Key. Hope that explains!

Hi Francesco! If you don't have any other graphics I would just use the Downstream Key and leave it on all the way

Can you use H2R graphics together with ppt presentation and green screne the speaker's background from one computer to Atem Mini Pro?
Also, I saw that you put the camera's images onto the lower third, it can take images besides text, correct?
@@andrewlee3625 Yes it can take images. The "text" I did was actually a PNG image :)
Hi Andrew because the H2R graphics is run on the computer and the ppt on the computer as well, you may need 2 computers to get that setup working. Green screen is using the Chroma Key so that shouldn't be a problem
@@StephLeeTech Understand. Then it will need to take up 2 HDMI slots if I want to do both.

Please help!!! I set everything up the lower 3rds, the ticker, the timer...it was working when I drug the chroma key over on the ATEM switcher. It was overlaying across the video. Now, when I drag the chroma it is acting like it’s another camera and just showing the 3rds and not going over the program.
Can you try restarting the setup and try again?
Apparently if you change the chroma color it messes it up. Keep it green folks!
can this software send to preview before going to program?

@@jacklim7110 Hi Jack you have to go to the ATEM Setup app, NOT the Atem Software Control Panel (they are 2 different apps). From there you can change the setting to allow Preview

How i can make my logo in all my cameras? Because when I change cam, the key1 turns off? I want the logo to stay still on program.
Yes David the Key will turn off when you switch cameras.

@@DavidLeirozz you can change the cam trough the software, so it works and your stream keeps the logo.
You connected atem mini pro with computer with Ethernet. Why ? Instead can connect it with USB c out from atem.

You are still speaking in front of the screen.
You explain things on sheets of paper.
But ultimately you don't film the essentials.
Like many youtuber, it is you that you film and not what you explain.
See a general video plan of your connections, for example.
For information, your "tip" cannot work with an IMAC. The ThunderBolt output of the Imac (catalina) with HDMI adapter does not work as a video output on the ATEM ... The ATEM does not pick up the video signal of the Imac .....
and I can assure you that when we look for precise explanations on the internet, we very often find explanatory videos, which are poorly explained ... Hence my weariness and my reaction, certainly, not very sympathetic on my part.
