- I'm joined by Alex Tubb to talk about Battle Tactics in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. What are they, how do you score them, how do you plan for them, how do you deny them, and more. We break down the theory to help you score 5 battle tactics each game.

Coach let me know when you need me for a âgetting wooden spoons without losing on purposeâ video
NEW DRININKING GAME! every time he says "Yeah" haha!
đ€ŁI bet you've still got a hangover after all the drinks
Great job! Again like always!
Great video! Very helpful for an inexperienced player like me.
Thanks for the video.
Pleasure Jason. Hope it helps
Bonesplitterz have a really easy time with GHB battle tactics as a result of pregame move and cheap mobile units. I'm sure that's why they haven't touched my army in a while đ
Great stuff as always! Appreciate the discussion.
AbsolutelyâŠ. And part of the reason why theyâve risen in their win percentage since the latest addition to their battle tactic choices
shhhh! Don't give away our secrets..
enjoy it while we are still an army. Waaagh!
Would it be something to consider how to chain tactics into grand strategies and lists?
Ex. Taking vendetta as a GS, with the plan of using reprisal as a tactic. In OBR you could land magical dominance by getting a levitation spell on a soulreaper hero acting as my general to get a T1 magical dominance to set up into the maelstrom T2 as the soulreaper charges to a unit that can kill the soulreaper to get it killed that turn while doing some damage. Followed by a T3 scoring of reprisal and set up the GS of vendetta by cleaning up the enemy unit with some kavalos.
Curious to get your thoughts on this as I have managed to pull it off before when trying to get it done. Would that work in a tournament.
It can definitely help but putting too much emphasis in this could mean you lose both your Grand Strategy and drop battle tactics as your opponent attempt to stop you scoring.
@@AoSCoach that's happened a few times already. It was a pillar of thought behind the question. Does it work or is it too focused to be flexible enough to work in general situations
As i read it you can't willingly break coherency 1:15:33 Not even by removing models
You can break coherency by removing models. You can just never make any kind of move and be incohernant. So once you break coherency you would be locked as you are unless you piled back into being coherent.
Alex is spot on here. If you allocate a wound, you must remove that model when itâs slain and coherency is broken from that point. Itâs a grey area
