My name is Jovani and I started my own woodworking business because of you, I would of never known how far I could take my skills if it wasn't for all of your motivating videos !!!! Thanks man 💯💯💯💯💯 stay tuned
Hey Jovani, that's so awesome to hear! Keep going my friend!
You doing CZcams videos? whats your channel if you are
I love the fact that you do projects that are out of the ordinary and not repetitive. I can always count on seeing something here I’ve not quite seen anywhere else. This looks really nice!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
I like watching these types of videos, even though I don't have the equipment to make it, the easy instructions make me feel like I would be able to at a later date. Thanks 🤗
Glad you like them! Thanks
Exactly bro... Same as you said..
Join the club!
Nice, simple build that not only looks great; it's very functional with the electrical outlet. You could utilize a light fixture with the built-in dusk to dawn feature and eliminate the light switch. This is a great planter for those who live in any type of rental property because it's portable!
One of the few channels I have a alert setup for and click the moment it comes in….thanks for always being the best!!
I truly appreciate that!
When you know you love someone's content.
I got super happy when I seen that little dot next to your name, new video 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Haha, I appreciate the support!
@@DIYCreators ofc!
OLD LEATHER SMITH here. I like your idea. I have done about the same in my garden, the only difference is I used sun powered lights. Keep up the good work. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
Nice build looks really good. Here in the UK it would be illegal. We are not allowed to mix socket outlets and lighting as they are rated differently. Lighting is rated 5amp and ring mains 15-30 amp. In your case if you had a fault on the lighting side it would not blow the circuit breaker. In your case we would use a 15amp ring main then install a spurred outlet with a 3amp fuse to run to the lighting. I think we are different because we are working with 240v which can be a killer if you get it wrong
Plugging the sponsor without obscuring your content is very much appreciated. Awesome project, I wouldn't have thought to use those clips to secure the composite decking; I always struggle trying to find ways to attach cladding without it looking terrible.
Been a while, great to see your craftsmanship and designs. Always enjoy your channel, thank you. Blessings
Thank you!
Man.. After watching this, I searched for Garden beds DIY, just to see what's out there of ideas... You still take first price with this one 🙂
Small tip for your 1/4” gap. If you use a speed square the thickness is 1/4”, that can be your spacer
Yep! I am aware of that one!
I like the minimalistic design of your planter. This could also be a nice addition for a balcony.
Absolutely! This is fitting for many spaces.
Fantastic design and I love the way you showed how to build.
I wouldn't worry too much about the miter joints, with expansion and contraction because of weather it is not going to be something noticeable.
You could also use a solar powered light if the planter is somewhere you don't have an electrical source and also great for people like me who don't trust themselves with electrics :D
Damn! This is smart. Beginning to end. You could custom make a lamp that fits. If you put wheels on this and it isn’t hardwired it can be something you could move around. This could even work indoors.
Thanks, totally! This was just a starting point anything can be done!
Thank you for sharing. Your channel is inspirational. Keep up the good work.
Thans much!
Love that - "your imagination sets the limitations"
Glad your imagination has no limits!
Thanks for sharing 👍
You are so gifted with your hands it's like handling this project by not guesting what should be done making it so easy keep up the good works 👍🏾👍🏾
The most intelligent thing to stack a commercial while not interrupting the built process from the video. 👍
Always great work and it looks awesome I just can't do water and electricity its built into my mindset.
Thank you, I think there is always work around.
You are not only good with wood, looks like you are also good in the kitchen. Keep the good job bro, you really inspired me to start woodworking.
Best promotional add intertwined with the video I’ve ever seen. (And I spend a ridiculous amount of time on CZcams) Genius! I actually watched the add and know what you were promoting. Normally I just fast forward through the adds in other videos but the way you kept the video going while including the add. Very clever and beneficial for both the advertiser and viewer.
I love your right angle clamp iig - brilliant.
Nothing more satisfying than dowels fitting perfectly
Love this idea!!!! One little tid bit too make it a little better. Use the square edge for the top board and use a router bit to give you the connecting Grove on the bottom of that square board.
Damn, I love the jig for attaching the corners! Sweet!!
Great video as usual, every time I watch your videos no matter the time I always want to get up & build something. Thanks for always putting out Great Content.
With trex you should always leave an 1/8” gap even in your miters. That’s what trex says!
D A M N...WHAT AN AMAZING PROJECT and how SKILLED YOU ARE !
Also...great way of presenting everything with voice over and fast forward when needed... BRAVO!
Another fine out standing job Glenn !
Love the rectangular box with power to the pole! I'm looking for 3 light fixtures to start my own.
Thank you!
Thanks, give it a go!
Some river rocks on top of the soil will really set it off, overall excellent build 👍🏾
Yes! That's what I had in mind, but I was not in love with the plants I used in the video so I plan to do it at some point.
Try smaller casters on the bottom to roll it to where you might want it . I got mine from . I got some from Sauder Outlet in Archbold , Ohio .
Fantastic idea. Thank You for making this....
You are welcome!
This is a piece of art!! In addition to the functionality! Love it!!!
Ha, Thank you!
I read "Patio Lamp and Compost Planter" without my glasses... I thought Wow...
lol sorry I hope I didn't disappoint.
@@DIYCreators 😁😁😁😁
You always seem to come up with the best ideas. And I love the jigs that you create. I hope you’re getting a patent for all of your jigs
You have great skills I can watch your before and after projects all day!
Man, you do amazing projects! Watching you and sendin a my hello from Baku, Azerbaijan!
Thanks! I appreciate it!
You're truly gifted in this.
Thanks!
Glen this project turned out perfect. I love the combo deck planter and lamp. Keep those Aloe Vera plants they're very medicinal and great for your skin.
Beautiful, Glen! Really fantastic work! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks man! I appreciate it, I hope you and your family is staying safe as well!
You’re on another level
This is hot. I made a 5'X8' composite deck for holding trash cans, mail and packages to modern up a Philly style rowhome staircase - that sad empty side part people never seem to know what to do with so they just concrete over it. I bolted a lamp post to the deck but Ima do this instead, thanks for the inspiration!
Very well done. Thank you,
Many thanks!
A great looking build just as it is, but has the capacity for so much customization and extra features. You already have power in the post, I'm thinking soil moisture sensors and an LED to indicate when to water might be a good next step in making this more complicated than necessary.
Thank you! You can go nuts with creativity and features. That's the best part about custom building.
Great job.
Well done!
I’d like to make elongated and trellised planters with composite deck boards I’ve left over.
Ideally, the frame corners would have slots allowing the horizontal boards to slide right in.
Love your creativity, it turned out great. Nice touch with the light. Keep making those great videos.
Great DIY project. Thank for such great content and ideas for my new RET home.
- Another VERY nice, practical, useful, attractive piece. Thanx 4 sharing.
Thats real nice, i love that its so simple to put together. thanks for sharing.
WoW.... exactly craftsmanship.
Really looks nice.
Thanks!
This is a very cool thing, thanks for showing us how you built it.
This looks really lovely.
I think a modified version would be great for a an indoor herb garden with appropriate grow light!
Your projects are really nice, and your presentation is so pleasant - you make this all work so well! I have two suggestions: you should not use those stab in the back connections for your wiring, as they are minimal in contact and often will vibrate out over time. On your miter corners you can try a carpenters trick where you burnish the edges together, rubbing with a screwdriver shaft usually works well. Practice with some scraps. I know it works well on trim, but I have not tried it on composites.
Thanks for your encouraging and inspiring videos!
Excellent craftsmanship, great work!
Great idea for garden.
❤️🥰👍🙏. Thank you for sharing your great ideas 👍👍👍👍
great video as usual.
Honestly it looks amazing even before you wrapped it!
Oh thank you!
@@DIYCreators not that it doesn't look beautiful with the wrap! Both are awesome!
VERY NICE! The build is good, and the video is good! Thank you!
Genius Sir, pure genius!
I think I will go with solar light, as I'm not comfortable doing electrical stuff. Awesome project. Really love it.
Sure thing, that's the next best option solar.
Duuude the camera work/editing/4K is just incredible, great work 👍
Beautiful design. I love the creativity!
Love these videos. Always unique. Keep up the great work!!!!
Great Work! Hard work and dedication! Have a blessed Day
Thank you! You too!
U did the thngs so completed.. sometimes i thnking there is always an option to make it simple & less woods using.. but at the end u make it look superb& details workmship.! u r always the best.. Broh.!
Haha, thanks, I try not to over do it at times but sometimes the extra effort is worth it.
Original and educational, brilliant
Awesome little planters.. never thought of using the deck wood you used. Great job
Thanks for the video. This came out really nice.
Love it where's little bit I miss her so much God bless peace be with you much love and respect
Hey Friend! little bit is so big now! I will make sure to show soon.
Great idea.
Thank you!
Nice work
Too cool for school. Genius plan thanks for a great video
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it!
It gives me ideas ! I made some planters from scratch wood but they arde done now. I was looking for planters to buy but the size I want them into (3 x 1mx60cmx60cm) are so expensive. I think I am going to make them myself and add light poles, like you did but on solar. No wires !
Such a great idea. Thanks
Ah Man
That's a good one.
Magnificent work!
Creative, easy to follow project. Thanks!
You are welcome!
You’ve come a long ways since I met you at Rockler Altamonte Springs. Nice job
Hey Mike, thats been a while! I remember that visit, I am good with faces terrible with names. I appreciate you tuning.
Really nice! Congratulations.
So awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍. Thank you for sharing this cool build. I really like it. Good to see you. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family. 😃
Great idea, I always enjoy your videos, you have so many original projects. Good to see you back, hope all is good with you and your family.
Thank you, doing this allow me to experiment with ideas. It's what make this fun for me.
awesome job make another so you can have the pair sitting on the patio that would look even better.
i could listen to your voice for hours
🤣 reall? Surprising being i get so many compliments saying the opposite. Thanks.
Big fan of urs from India brother. Ur diy videos are superb.
That’s amazing I love it
Thank you!
You are good. Learn a lot from your videos. Awesome
Man. You are SO clever!
❤️ from 🇵🇭
Very nicely done Sir.
Pressure treated wood contains carcinogens, perhaps not ideal for a planter. Cedar might be a useful alternative.
You do excellent work.
Awesome designs, your videos have been inspiring for years. learn so much.. thank you!!
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Brilliant! maybe also add a small solor panel, add "alex" or a motion sensor...
Beautiful. Finished project and the walkthrough :)
Awesome build and nicely creative incorporating the functionality of a light with landscaping. well done.👏👏👍
Thank you! Cheers!
