Honorable mention for Demolition Man in Vice City. The RC Copter controls suck, you're being shot at by construction workers the entire time while being extremely fragile, and you have a time limit to top it all off. To this day it fills me with dread just thinking about it

The Souls-like parking garage tutorial mission from the original Driver was particularly hateful. Not only was it required to even get to the open world, but it demanded precision far beyond what you would need to play and enjoy the game. The race in Mafia actually went through an update (even back then, when pushing updates was hard, because internet connection was expensive and slow - I think it was distributed in game magazines). The update for the original game added a difficulty setting for the race, but also patched a glitch that allowed basically skipping the whole race. Needless to say, the race was pretty hard and tedious even on easy after the update. Dan Vávra (director) actually said that no one had any problem with the race in the game studio, they all played it so much during testing that they thought it was not at all hard.

what i especially hated about the AC tailing missions was that they were eavesdropping missions at the same time. so you have to keep close to them to eavesdrop but not too close to get detected, but also not get too far away or else the entire mission fails and you start from the beginning. add that ontop of the janky parkour the earlier games had and its just hell.

Repent and follow Jesus my friend! Repenting doesn't mean confessing your sins to others, but to stop doing them altogether. Belief in Messiah alone is not enough to get you into heaven - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Contemplate how the Roman empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years to accomplish the religion of the Israelites C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate though because you can start a relationship with God and have proof. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life. - Revelation 3:20
Revelation has been unfolding since Jesus died. The Popes have claimed to be equal to God and set themselves in Jesus' place (antichrist(s)). Vatican City (Which is its own nation BTW) have risen up to fulfill the role of the false prophet
Regarding the man of lawlessness or antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:4 says “Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” The restrainer that the Apostle Paul was referring to in 2 Thessalonians was the Western Roman Emperor, who held back the Popes from taking power. Once the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 AD, the Pope was given civil and ecclesiastic authority over Rome; healing the deadly head wound of the beast in Revelation 13, as they took the Emperors title of Pontifex Maximus, leader of the church and state.
“We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God.” (Source: “Decretals of Gregory IX,” Book 1, chapter 3.)
Pope Pius V blasphemed, “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.” (Source: Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Cities Petrus Bertanous Chapter XXVII: 218.)
Pope Leo XIII declared, “We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty.” (Source: Pope Leo XIII Encyclical Letter, June 20, 1894)
The antichrist sea beast of Revelation points to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who controlled the Roman beast for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD.
Daniel 7:25 says “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” The Popes of Rome spoke against Elohim and proclaimed to be God. They reigned for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. during which they caused tens of millions of saints to be killed.
The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei’, and equates numerically to the number 666

The Skyrim quest "Blood on the Ice" in Windhelm would be a good candidate for a list like this - not because it's bad, but because of how buggy it is. There are so many ways for this quest to get stuck in an incompletable state, and you can accidentally trigger some of these bugs long before attempting do the quest and realizing it's bugged (which potentially makes reloading a previous save not an option). To make matters worse, one of the bigger/nicer player houses in the game is tied to this quest, meaning if it glitches out, you might never be able to get that house. On PC, most of these issues can be prevented with the unofficial patch or resolved with console commands, but console players pretty much need to look this one up on a wiki and carefully follow a guide in order to avoid messing things up.
The quest itself is decently fun/interesting, but trying to avoid all the bugs makes it feel a lot more tedious than it needs to be even if you manage to do everything right.

    Back in 2010,
I remembered I was frustated so much failing that again and again that once I killed all delivery guys I thought mission was over but we had to bring that damn RC Helicopter back to Zero's roof. And my fuel went kaput.
It took me some 30-40 tries to finally clear it. Never have been frustated playing a video game before that.

That race mission at the start in Mafia, that mission ruined the game for me, it’s like the game is locked until you passed that mission and it was frecking hard mission

The mission I remember HATING from Jak II Is where you had to escort that crew through the sewers. SUCH a pain. Oooh and the whack a mole where you had to be absolutely perfect

Having never played the original I picked up Mafia Remastered. Couldn't get past the chapter-based gameplay so I never finished it, but I remember approaching that racing mission with extreme trepidation based on everything I'd read about it online and - finding it pretty easy.

the Days Gone nero stealth missions were super easy. the patrols were very predictable. the hiding spots were extremely obvious.

I know right 😄 I don't think Jake is very good at gaming to be honest

I found the NERO stealth missions in Days Gone SO easy. Maybe it was just me but I never had any problems with them. Taking on the hordes, that was the hard part a lot of the time.
