  • After a morning flight from Atlanta to Dallas Fort Worth with American Airlines, my next flight was to Seattle with Alaska Airlines.
Something to note as I had never flown out of the DFW E Gates before, is how far the Admirals Lounge is from the gates. It seemed like a mile away via an underground passageway... enough time for a quick snack, drink, visit to bathroom, then head on back to the gate.
Boarding was on time, the aircraft flying was a Boeing 737-900, and I was seated in 1A.
After takeoff, and once at cruising altitude, warmed nuts and drinks were served, followed by a main meal service. I had already preselected the Tillamook Burger, which was very good. The Buns looked a little deflated, but it did not affect the taste one bit.
A cheeseburger at 32,000ft is hard to beat.
Drinks were always on offer, and a basket of snacks was offered later in the flight.
Remainder of the flight was smooth, a lot of cloud cover which blocked some of the amazing views when approaching Seattle.
We arrived early, and bags were quick to come out then a short walk over to the carpark and through to the Link Light Rail Station.
The Light Rail service are extremely frequent, and it is a very quick, and safe method of transport into the city, with no worries about being caught in traffic.
After 40 minutes, I had arrived at Westlake station which is in the heart of Downtown, and 2 blocks from the hotel I was staying at.
A continuation of my previous travels: AMERICAN AIRLINES A321-231 AA1228 First Class - Atlanta to Dallas Fort Worth (4K) - • AMERICAN AIRLINES A321...

Forgot to add, the station and airports look nice, clean and efficient. Just like your postings. Regards as always.

Even though Downtown Seattle is not what it used to be due to homelessness, and a lot of businesses boarded up after covid. The Link Light Rail I have always found to be clean, safe and very cheap. I have friends that live South of the airport (opposite to Downtown which is North) but it is easier and cheaper to stay in the city rather than hire a car and stay in the suburbs. The N Gates where I got off my flight is a relatively new terminal. Thank you.
