We have 2 Toyotas in our family since 2012. On the 2 occasions we needed Toyota Road Side Assistance they have arrived in less than 30 minutes and been very helpful (fixed the car so we could get home).

The sunroof screen appears very thin , Will it allow lot of heat & light into the cabin thus reducing the ac cooling. ? please explain ! thanks in advance !
for now it’s shown as display sheet but later when the car actual ready for sell it will come with complete cover sheet just like other sunroof cars
Great Video , I drive Toyota 2.5 Liter powerful RAV4 All Wheel Drive in US and I am happy with Toyota's Roadside assistance and maintenance services and owned two toyota cars i.e first was Toyota Corolla 2017 and now Toyota RAV4 AWD and super happy with no issues and build quality , I would say given a choice go with Toyota

There are two types of Toyota RAV4 Hybrid models in US
1. RAV4 Hybrid :- This is similar to what we got in HyRyder with better fuel mileage over regular petrol only models
2. RAV4 Prime :- This is more of advanced version of Hybrid engine which uses Plugin Hybrid technology that delivers 68 kms of EV-only driving when fully charged, * and keeps it going with an EPA-estimated combined 150 kms combined ( Electric + Gasoline per gallon )
RAV4 prime is the most expensive model aimed at high fuel efficiency as it also has plug -in electric motor which needs to be charged separately where as RAV4 Hybrid is what HyRyder does
RAV4 Hybrid is more popular and Toyota has mastered their Hybrid Technology space since last 20 + years
Toyota Prius is one example of Hybrid sedan car and RAV4 Hybrid is best selling Hybrid SUV
@@amitbasnak4385 Yea. I agree with you, Toyota has mastered the hybrid tech indeed. Their Prius has been in the market since 2000, while it was initially introduced in 1997 in Japan for the first time. I'm sure their hybrid tech would've evolved over these 22 years.
I was checking out the prices of the RAV4 petrol and hybrid versions in the US and was surprised to see that the price difference wasn't significant (around 1k USD). Here in India, Honda charges us 4 lakhs extra (that's 28% more) for the CITY hybrid over the corresponding petrol only variant. How come Toyota charges such a less premium in the US? Since the prices were ex-showroom, the tax benefits couldn't be factored in either. And doesn't it hurt the sales of their gasoline only models ?

I think the fact is owning a car in US is necessity due to less public transport available in suburbs probably thats why and their cars are always in demand .
I own RAV4 regular petrol having All wheel Drive and level2 ADAS and I have been super happy customer of Toyota Since 2017 and I work remotely so I take out RAV4 on weekends so I dont need Hybrid per se.
People buy both Hybrid and non Hybrid RAV4 models and both are proven long time runners that require less maintenance .

Smart hybrid helps in start stop traffic keeping your vehicle isliye workout using the engine. Strong hybrid helps in riding the car in ev mode 50-60% of the time in City traffic which increases the milage that resembles in the claimed mileage difference....

Hi, nice videos and analysis done by you. Which model of strong hybrid would you recommend for Hyryder. I am basically confused between G and V. Do you think it’s logical to pay additional higher amount for V ?
I’d say stick to S. I found nothing special about the higher variants on the practical side.
It's basically something on your requirement. V varient has 360 degree camera ventilated seats panoramic sunroof and better audio system along with heads up display... If you think the are required then go with v or else g/s should suit your requirement.
Go for G varient,
360 degree camera, TPMS can be added through accessories which cost 30k and 4k respectively. Go for G varient Better its value for money

Maruti car owner here, had a failure of gear handle in the city. Road side assistance arrived within 30 minutes, he arranged a tow truck in 20 minutes and took me to the service centre where the car condition was checked and informed me what needs to be repaired and cost. Very good experience with Maruti road side assistance,

Great and clear comparison. It is true that both the cars are identical twins so the main differentiator will be service, warranty and brand value . I am going for Hyryder because I want strong hybrid and the technology ,engine , controller and battery are from Toyota so they will be able to give better service for a long time and they have better warranty.

In a remote area near Katghora in Chhattisgarh, we faced an issue of breakdown of our Maruti Dzire. The roadside assistance was informed and Maruti was very prompt and cooperative. They supported and tow vehicle with a mechanic came from Korba - 60 kms away as being a Sunday, local Maruti garage in Katghora was closed. The charges was very nominal and the car was repaired in a few minutes as it was an electrical fault. It took them 3 hours to reach but they kept monitoring and updating the status. Keep it up Maruti and thanks as well ! Their support and service rocks.

1. Don't worry. There have been many cases wherein car companies have used engines from other manufacturers in the past. Technology sharing among auto companies has been happening since ages. MG Hector, Tata Harrier/Safari etc., use the same diesel engine as the Jeep Compass too.
2. Talking about the engine specs being low and performance being sluggish, this is highly subjective. Trust me on this. I have spoken to many drivers who have driven the Ertiga for lakhs of kms and they seemed satisfied with it's performance. Their primary aim is to travel long distances with minimal fuel consumption and the Ertiga returns decent mileage for it's size. Infact the most sold version is the CNG variant for commercial purposes which is suppposed to offer lower performace, but going by their usage, they have nothing to complain as far as the performance is considered. The fuel economy is their priority which makes up for the low performance maybe.
While on the other hand, you might find owners dissatisfied with their Creta's acceleration too, as they might have higher expectations from it. And there are some for whom performance takes precedence over FE.
So it is totally dewpendent upon your- use case, priority, expectation.
Talking about your case, since you find the performace of the XL6 decent, I don't think you would have much to complain, cuz the Grand Vitara is ~50kgs lighter than the XL6.

I have booked Grand Vitara on the first day of booking. Still enough time in hand and doing enough research to reach a final buying decision. Your videos do help a lot. I also heard from the Maruti authorities that the kerb weight of GV is only 20 kg more than the Brezzaa, and the NA K15C engine wouldn't under perfrom, now I wonder it's a bigger vehicle from a different segment and still the weight difference is negligible, does it tell us something about the build quality 🤔

Can't say I have decided, but one strike off for sure is Kia Seltos. Not me but my friend visited my house on a rainy night and there is a patch of road where his car got stuck. Long story short he called the 24×7 Kia support to no avail. They reached back almost 12 hours later!!!
I don't know who else is how good but Kia was gone for me that day
