- The owner of a Gage Park jewelry store said she is worried about the future of her business after it was targeted by four thieves who robbed the store at gunpoint in the middle of the day last week.
Luckily, the "Pants-Belts-R-US" store across the street was not robbed. ❤
If she had been selling "Father's Day gifts" they wouldn't have taken anything from her store.
Seems like pulling your pants up and tightening your belt would give you an advantage in a robbery...but...naaaaaah

At the very least, the employee should have escorted her out and immediately closed the door behind her. But the store really should have had two door security access where the 1st door is locked behind the customer before the 2nd door is opened.

@@johnrambo1349 After he is buzzed thru the 1st door, it will close and relock before the 2nd door is buzzed open. Thus, a door is locked at all times. However, while the customer is between the two doors, the staff has a moment to look him over to decide if they will allow him inside the store. Also, when inside the store, the customer cannot open the doors to exit. He must wait until an employee buzzes open the inner door, and the exit process begins in reverse.
