Imho, night elves are the best when it comes to unit responses. Too bad they have so many units which don't talk.
Since I've been playing W3 since I was this kid, as I discovered these references throughout the years, I thought of them as references from this game.
The human mating call is by far the #1 line in the game
NOTES ON THIS EPISODE:
- I forgot one of the Druid of the Claw's lines: "Stop clicking on my bare (bear) ass!"
- I also forgot a quote from the Priestess of the Moon referencing the 2000 film _Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon._
- The Keeper of the Grove's line "Well. There it is" is a reference to Malcolm's same quote in _Jurassic Park._
- Shakespeare was indeed written in 1599, but the video in which the play is depicted was not.
- The Demon Hunter's "You will perish in flames" line could be from Ghostbusters.

My favourite line from the Dryad, and one that I can replicate pretty well in the dryad's voice is "Feel the fearsome fury of the forest faun!" guess it's a tongue twister lol.
I haven't been able to find confirmation of this anywhere, but I'm so certain that the Keeper of the Grove quote "Well... There it is." is a reference to Jeff Goldblum's character of Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park. He's mentions how the park is against the natural order and brings up nature's power to crush man made obstacles. One of his most iconic scenes in the movie, typically made as a meme, is in the lab / hatchery after he finishes explaining how it's foolish to believe that artificially keeping all the dinosaurs female will maintain population control in the park, and he finishes by saying, "Well... There it is."

I'll have to disagree about the "fire" thing as it should be a generally common slang term because guns and cannons do exist in Warcraft.

The druid of talon has james bond spy related quotes due to the nature of his spell kit. He can turn into raven form, navigate accross the map and cast faerie fire on opponets to gain vision. Essentially he infiltrates and is spying on the opponent .

Er dude, 'Fire!' *does* work with bows, because you're firing an arrow from the bow, a projectile

While you are correct that it refers primarily to firearms, it still works with any kind of projectile. There are also other examples besides blizzard of using 'fire' for bows, like lord of the rings
Not only that, but the term 'fire' has always been used with arrows since they are older.
1:13 Well, at this point it is used as a general command to shoot. Blizz are by for not the only ones to use it that way. Even in LotR they say fire, even though they use bows and arrows or crossbows. For instance: watch?v=8Tgi-j56ueU at the 3:15 mark.

I'm not that old yet, but I'm already trying to find anchors to life that'll keep me going, and honestly I'm happy that a video game does it for me.
I found the Spirit and Avatar of Vengence lines to be a little creepier once I gave it some time to (over)think. The spirits almost sound hurried and desperate and the line "...Drained of life" just sounds like almost slothful through all that creepy tone. Maybe a reference to how a life of vengeance generally ain't doing good for you?

I think the Druid of the Talon makes James Bond references because they are supposed to be the intelligence-gatherers of the Night Elves... or something like that, lore-wise.
I always assumed the Demon Hunter line "I shall fight fire with fire" was because their ultimates turn them into demons with chaos damage, which is great for killing demons, so they turn into demons to fight demons fighting "fire with fire".

It's a common phrase that dates from at leats the 19th Century, so I'm a bit sceptical of the claim that it's a reference to a song.
The whole Fuzzy Wuzzy poem also occurs in description on some of the units on that official custom map where you fight unique enemy factions, one of which could be bears. Forgot what it was called.

I just belatedly remembered the origin for another unit quote: Dryad: "I speak for the trees!" -- comes from *The Lorax* by Dr. Seuss (1971), spoken by the Lorax after he pops out of the stump of the first Truffula that the Once-ler chops down to make the first sample of Thneeds, at the start of the massive deforestation campaign that culminates in the extinction of the Truffula trees. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lorax -- also see animated version czcams.com/video/5cXntJFWv5U/video.html (1972), although in this version the quote occurs after more damage has already occurred.
She only says "For the trees," so if that is what the voice acting directors intended, it's not a very clear reference since there are so many other "For ______!" battlecries in the game. It's possible though!

Druid of the Claw and druid of the Talon are too complex names, so our names more are concise: "Druid-bear" and "Druid-raven"
Demon hunter (and Illidan as well) has a cool voice with echo effect. It's like he walks along an empty street.
Maiev (or just "Mev" in our translation) has some cool "Pissed" quotes, unlike your variant.
And some Illidans "Pissed" quotes are repeating for some reason.

may be 2 or 3 years late but in the Warcraft Universe there are firearms so I guess they can say "Fire" but the word people used back then was Let Loose or Release.
Another is one of the Keeper of the Grove's movement lines: "well, there it is" which is a reference to the 1984 film Amadeus as it is a line that emperor Joseph often uses
The release date change is likely a pun on both video games and releasing a bow string. You're right that in night elf society using fire to release an arrow doesn't make sense. For an alliance archer who has been around firearms, it kind of makes sense.
At 8:54 the sockets are also found in wow starting from the BC expansion
