Let me know if you have any questions
I’m very blessed I was able to get hired by a firm as a field adjuster doing daily claims a month after getting my license with no experience only experience in climbing roofs and roof knowledge. But yes it’s rare to jump into a firm and get started right away
This is beautiful
Thanks for sharing
It is very encouraging
Appreciate the insights and career/life knowledge, truly invaluable coming from someone inside the industry. I'm currently weighing my career options as an SIU claims investigator and I'm seeing a lot of similarities of the day to day as an independent field adjuster. Id argue the 2-3 hours of your content I've watched so far is more valuable than materials I've paid several hundred $$ for as far as applying the information to real life day to day. I'm taking the licensing exam in Michigan later this month so I'm so glad i stumbled upon this channel because i had no idea where to go from there! Thanks again, ill def be tuning into further content, Happy New Year Dan!
@Jumbotana Wow! Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it. I’m glad I can be a help. That was the main purpose of this channel, because when I was getting started, there wasn’t something like this available. Good luck to you, and thanks for watching!
Thank you for all your valuable lessons. !!!
You’re welcome, thanks for watching
@danieltheadjuster I’m a young man looking to get my foot in the door as a adjuster but I’m having a tuff time finding firms in Pa that will hire and train and pay for licensing exam . So should I just study and take the exam and re apply for firms with newly acquired license
@jackboy5533 Please remember that you are an independent adjuster (1099) which means that typically all expenses are your own, all training is your responsibility and you need to present yourself/sell yourself as the firm's best option for an adjuster. It is not common for a firm to hire you, train you, and get you work (Insurance companies do this but you will make much less money).
@@danieltheadjuster okay thanks for the response do you think it’s better to start off as a staff adjuster to get a feel of it and then branch out into independent
@jackT5. That’s always an option with someone with no experience and possibly limited funds for training. Staff adjusters do get trained.
@@danieltheadjuster ok thanks, for taking time out of your day to respond
@jackT5. Anytime.
Hey Daniel, having some troubles landing a true first job, I got on with a CAT deployment but only lasted a week. (I don’t have any experience) I need any help I can get, Thank you!
Get on as many rosters as you can, and call them every week. If you’re not on about 30 to 40 rosters or firms, then you’re not going to have the opportunity.
@@danieltheadjuster So just find firms and go site by site? I’m on adjuster portal as well. Thank you
Yes, get on every roster, tell them that you are available for work. Get your training, get your certifications, upload your training and certification documents to those portals of those firms when you get them. The more experienced the better chance you have a been deployed with them. When hurricanes happen, you will deploy with them because you are ready.
@@danieltheadjuster Thank you again Daniel, any companies your recommend? I’m on QAClaims, Alacrity and Eberl
