Love to hear it! Thanks for watching!
averaging 5.75 rn off my first 4 games I’ll let you guys know how game 5 goes
Amazing breakdown. Love it!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the support🙌🏽
Great info as usual
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching💪🏽
This is precious information Coach
Thanks for watching🙌🏽
Man I love you channel
Appreciate it my man!
Bro i had a match today i missed all my shots cuz of the pressure whole team relying on me
That’s the downside a lot of people don’t realize comes with being good, the expectations. It’s hard but you have to learn to embrace it and understand that you’re gonna fail and let people down sometimes. The best players who have ever played the game have had bad performances that cost their team games, series, championships, etc. but you just have to get up, try to be better, and go at it again💪🏽
@@VisionDrivenBasketball yeah thanks for the support man.
@@spoof387 keep your head up bro, control what you can control and give every game your full effort and take the open shots given to you. you gotta miss a couple sometimes to get hot so don’t get down on yourself! try to play within the flow of the game and have fun with it too
Can you do another live question stream?
Yup will definitely do another soon!
coach its my first time doing aau and im bout to have my first game soon any tips for like practice any workouts to get better or just like something i can do to play at my full potential
Be surrounded by basketball. Since you are already on AAU that's a good start. Just keep playing games, getting experience which equals confidence, and stop caring about what anybody thinks because #yolo (you only live once)
@@enebev thank you 👍👍
so, based on your 30minutes of talking, basically, we should be the best player, have the best shot, be the most athletic, so on and so forth... wow very useful information.. THANKS!!!! NOT TO MENTION THAT YOU ALSO HAVE TO BE TALL.... OK ILL WORK ON THAT
how do you get gym space to train? It’s getting colder outside and Id like to find somewhere indoors to get my ball workout in
It’s really about making connections. Maybe you can find a gym that you can work at which will give you access to train there. Some public gyms like the YMCA etc. have slower times of day where you can pretty much be there by yourself. I’d just look into any potential options in your area.
I thought he would have nearly million subscribers
We’ll get there!
I have a guard skillset, but because of my height the coach keeps me
at center. What should I do?
start placing 20 lb of weight on your shoulders and squats so that your spine gets compressed and you'll slowly get shorter
Just kidding, if you really don't wanna play center, talk to your coach. You are likely not 7'0, so assuming you are like 6 something you can tell your coach that this will stunt your progress as a player
Or, you can be a center with elite ball handling and range, even if you are center this does not mean you will 100% of the time have to act like a center
Play and excel at your role that you’re being asked to do. You have to change the way you look at it. If you get really good at the skills necessary to be a great center: post defense, rebounding, setting screens, sealing and posting up, finishing through contact, etc, and you continue to develop your guard skills, you’ll literally be a big guard that can do everything on the court. That is an extremely valuable thing to be in modern day basketball. You won’t always play center if you don’t have the size for it, eventually you’ll have to play on the perimeter as a guard. But if you also have the ability to post up smaller guards, you’ll be a matchup problem. For now, just focus on excelling in your role while still developing your guard skills outside of practice and you’ll eventually thank yourself for it.
thank you bro nice vid !
Thanks for watching💪🏽
I am trying to transition from JV To varsity and i want to make sure I am successful! I averaged about (just under) 20 ppg on JV but I want to be able to transition this to varisty! I had a couple 30 pt games but I want to be able to transition to varsity and at least average 15 do you have any tips?
i did! it’s not that simple! i have already been and the level is much higher on Varsity !
Know and learn your system so you know what opportunities you will have. Then get really good at converting in those opportunities. It’s different depending on the team you play on and what your strengths are. Honestly a lot of this video applies, develop the micro skills I mentioned and you’ll be prepared to be successful. Really your thought has to be to become the best basketball player you can possibly be and that’s going to put you in a position to be as successful as possible at the varsity level.
@@VisionDrivenBasketball thank you sir ! that’s some great advice 💯
Thank you for this video! As a 12 year old, what skill should I become elite at first?
Shooting id say it just makes the game easy when you become rlly good at it
@@ZetsuOnYt okay thanks bro. Like shooting for at least an hour a day?
finishing and shooting
@@TheBigO4296 not necessarily time based but most nba players shoot around 300 shots per day and make sure that you shoot them with good form, habits and also with some intensity
@@yes1991 Okay I will add that to my workout and do them right after I get home from school thank you
