That was beautiful, I love arcane mage and I always heard ppl gripe about frost/fire but for whatever reason I've always been drawn to arcane. Seeing this makes me happy. Ty! Awesome tips!
Thanks very much for making this! I JUST unlocked Void Elves yesterday. This is the first "how-to-play" guide I've seen for them, mostly because of that Void Rift ability. I have avoided playing Mage for quite a while because Blizz nerfed the class a while ago, and made it hard for me to successfully play it. I might try a Void Elf Mage and see how that goes!
I understand I have several Mages. fire and arcane got nerfed but frost is still viable. I have a void elf mage I am fire on him though. I like fire the most for mages, the graphics for them are great in either fire or frost.
I think I've just decided that as much as I love WoW and arena PvP, there is too much for my brain to work out at any given time to ever be good at it. Every game I forget something obvious and am constantly overloaded with info. Watching you constantly pause the video every 3 seconds to explain everything that's going on makes me think you have a time machine to be able to remember all of this.
Oh well, I'll go back to eating glue I guess.
Avionic put time and dedication into learning a class, you'd be surprised how fast your reactions and how natural you will play that class after a while

Thats how we all start
Disengage/Rift macro if you play as hunter. You'll confuse the hell out of the enemies, not sure if they should follow you or wait for you by the rift. You're basically making double the chase.

I love my void elf warlock. Mating it with gate and teleport works out really well. A lot of the time I use it and the person I'm running from goes toward my teleport which is like 80 yards from me haha.

Do you drop the flag if you do this in WSG for example? For example leave the spacial rift down at the speed buff in tunnel and then take flag and spacial rift down to the speedbuff again?
When you race-changed, did it say that you couldn't have access to the heritage armor? I find it pretty dumb if you don't because they player would have spent the time 1. Already leveling up the class and 2. Spent the time and effort to unlock the allied race. Thanks for any info
Struggling on deciding between SPriest and Mage for returning back to WoW (last time I played was at the beginning of legion).
Mainly want to do the story content and pvp casually while doing bits and bobs - want to unlock Void Elf first.

Man I loved juking with my teleports on my monk. I might just race change so I can have even MORE teleports.
Is it any good for melees like rogues and warriors? I think its too slow to use to catch people

i think spatial rift would be insanely amazing if the beacon lasted for a while like a minute or 2. like if it was say a buff that would stay until you disabled it or used the ability again minus auto turning off if switching to a dungeon / continent etc just imagine what you could do with that like you put it down away from the fight kite the guys away from it as they get closer to you and then go back to a nice distance, or your in a fight where the enemy uses knockback and theres a cliff nearby theres a safety precaution then theres the rp bonus. players love teleportation and aesthetics thats my opinion at least. but i found this video rather informative on ways to use the thing

Holy fuck dude I need to lvl my void elf now. I just unlocked them the other nite. I just got back after 2 years. Havent pvped 2s since tbc on my rogue. My partner was a frost mage we were unstoppable. I miss those days...

My void elf is a mage right now but I already have a max level night elf mage. Im thinking instead of running a shadow priest but have never tried it before. Awesome video! I really enjoy these types of videos.
Of course, something which is OP is cool. And it only needs some practice and experience. After that, you have bunch of situations, where the other players can't do anything, no matter how well they play. Yeah.. super cool..

when you compare spacial rift to the other 3 new racial allied skills it is by far the best in PvP i would not be surprised to see this get tweaked or changed.

This is quite interesting. The fact that a racial can have this much impact on your performance and allow you to diversify your gameplay to this level is just outstanding. It just looks like it's a bit too over the top for a racial in my opinion. I wouldn't mind if it remained as is, as a player would just need to adjust, which encourages more dynamic gameplay. However, Blizzard has never really been much about the fun. I'm surprised it got released tbh.

I wanna go void elf but I'm scared to lose human trinket. Speaking from a priest perspective I play all 3 specs. How do you feel they compare overall?
You don't need human trink to be good in pvp, that only really matters in high rated against comps that kill with stuns like RMP, or walking dead. Even still its not a huge loss

This racial isn’t very good for healing spec priests in my opinion. You just don’t have the mobility to come back from the rift. For example say you’re being targeted or cleaved and you rift deep into line of sight or under a bridge, the enemy team is just going to swap to a dps and they’re going to die while you’re trying to drop feathers to make it back to them
Shadow might benefit from it the most

Also, if you can actually take advantage of the racials, you deserve the ability. Honestly most people kind of suck at this game so don't wine too much about awesome abilities that require skill to be used. It's what allows players to take their gaming to the next level!

Not sure why people think this will be nerfed, it's only OP use would be in an Arena and it has a 3 minute cooldown, if you can run around and survive for 3 minutes to wait to use that, you deserve to be able to use it again.
