I think "Nobody's Fool" is a cinematic masterpiece disguised as a comedy. Because to me it is not about 'lowering your standards', it's simply about giving somebody a chance. If he's had a shaky past at least he is TRYING his best to get his life together and the female lead role eventually recognises that.
He's right. This isn't a new mindset, though. Women, since I can remember, have held the mindset that a man has to make more. Screw the guy that works hard and works hard to show her that he's faithful and committed to her. He knows how to show her that he loves her by the things he does or doesn't do.
The reason most good women don't have a man is they are trying to find one that will impress their girlfriends. Black women's social standards, the desire to "out do" each other, are keeping them lonely and looking. For example, Black women wear fake hair, eyelashes, heavy makeup, etc. to impress each other not attract men. Most single Black women could have a good man tomorrow if they just go natural. Ladies the REAL reason men don't approach you in public is it's getting hard to tell a real sister from a trans woman these days. Trans women are out hunting for STRAIGHT men also. When you hang out with them or a g@y guy it's hard to tell if you are one of them. Sisters, if you go natural, you will have all kinds of brothers trying to holler at you. If you stop trying to live up to "Black girl magic" social standards, there are brothers out here that want to find a woman like you that he would be willing to DIE for. At the end of the day the type of man every woman needs is NOT one who makes more money, but one who will love her, adore her, and sacrifice his life to save hers.
After wearing a dress, (s)he thinks women's standards are high? For who is it high, and for who should it be lowered? Total disrespect for men, that's what I see
They won’t listen Tyler 😂😂
The only reason she is listening to him is because he is Tyler Perry
They don't love you for who you are they love your money

Where do you work that you can only afford the light bill. Be serious.
If that’s the case does the person still live with their parents?!
