This attractive and rugged looking 4th generation Honda Pilot is new from the ground up. And now competes with the likes of the Subaru Outback Wilderness Edition in off tarmac capabilities.
All of these new style points and adventure capabilities are welcomed, but not at the expense of losing what we already know and love. Which is, the Pilot has always been a roomy, reliable, practical and great driving vehicle that is easy to live with.
So we take a look at the facts(ish), feels and final thoughts of the all new 2023 Honda Pilot Black Edition.

Thank you! And I plan on it:) I have a bunch of people at my other job saying he is a must have lol. I thought it would be fun and memorable to integrate Canadian themed tests. I definitely want to start doing more relatable tests as the show gets bigger and I have more opportunities!

I agree! Definitely a nice looking and well equipped trim:) I didn’t realize you don’t have it. So frustrating!! Happens to me too. Get all excited about a vehicle or trim only to find it’s not available in your country.
They have the 2025 black edition in Florida
I am torn between two cars, the Ford Explorer and the Honda Pilot, which is better in all aspects, especially on the road and travel
Great question and I hope others comment to but I’d have to say the Honda. To be fair, I haven’t driven an explorer in a few years but traditionally the Honda would be the better daily driver and the Ford being the better one if you want to tow and didn’t care about on road capabilities. But now both are expensive, more refined and can tow. I was extremely impressed. I personally hated the Pilot but after a week I didn’t want to give it back. It was huge but drove small. I can’t say that for many SUV’s. Hope this helps a bit

AWD tows 5000lbs. FWD tows 3500lbs.
I do think they should have introduced hybrid v6.

No its not I have this in Touring. I love my Pilot. You're just another Toyota shill. You losers are all over the Pilots videos. Toyota built a poor quality Grand Highlander and instead paid for malicious marketing. Imo 😅
