  • Punta Bulata Resort & Spa! We lost power so decided to take a day off! Philippines Road trip to Punta Bulata Resort & Spa here we come! Philippines is such a beautiful country, and we look for reasons to go on these amazing trips. Finding little hidden tropic paradises is always amazing and relaxing. Punta Bulata Resort & Spa is on the slower side of the island from where we live in near Bais City on Negros Island. It was worth the trip!

wow what a paradise. No wonder my mother in law died at the age of 98 on her sleep no ailment, no sickness She just ate all kind of fruits and vegetables she planted on her backyard. She go to bed around 7 pm and wake at 4:00 am doing things on her backyard.. Scientist had found out that the ocean is full of ions that affect your serotonin in your brain and relaxes you and gives you a good quality sleep. I hope you continue doing this. More power to you.

Roughly $4000 a month so could live great there. Haven't been there since 1985 so I am sure it has changed quite a bit. sometimes having a scheduled brownout is a good thing, makes you take a break from staring at tv's and computer and other stuffs you need to do at home, go outside and look for some fun, spend time in beaches or have a leisure walk in the near park, everyone is doing that cause theres no electricity.

Hello, one of your videos popped up across my screen a couple of hours ago and I decided to watch it. Think this is the 3rd. Would like to say I like the sensitivity of your observations and find your vids calming. Obviously, you've come from some life-changing phase (at least, that's how it comes across to me).
Am appreciative that you like and give generous compliments to the Phils & Filipinos. It is about the culture and the location (by the sea and mountain - the warmth & solitude, what else could be better!?). You are lucky to have made the choice. And, you deserve the peace and richness of the external & internal life that you are living. However, pls don't romanticize us too much, as there may come a time when you discover our frailties, foibles, & follies - we are still human beings. When you do, remember that we remain to be the most friendly, hospitable, caring, generous, and fun people with its own idiosyncracies, dysfunction, and cultural traits, habits and characteristics.
Enjoy, and a lot of worlds await and are yet to be discovered north, east, west, south in our country.

*_When I was there, I was at the Dao Diamond hotel resort and spa near Tagbilaran on Bohol, at one point. While there, I ordered an omelette one morning, and ask for six eggs so it’d be an omelette that’s double in size. • • • • • • • They brought me six omelettes plus all the items that are sides on a plate. Six of everything. So instead of four pieces of bacon, I had twenty four. Six English muffins. Six glasses of mango juice. Six sliced up sides of mango. Literally everything. Like you, I didn’t complain either. I also didn’t eat anything else for the entire day! After eating almost all the egg omelettes they brought me, I wrapped the bacon in a napkin and took it with me. I figured that would at least travel well seeing as how bacon is cured and fried up. The only things I wasted were the sliced up mangoes and the excess numbers of glasses of juice. It was so much food, I couldn’t believe it!_*

Nice place and I'm glad you're having fun. I paused it about 500 times to get a closer look at those prices on the menu. Very cheap prices

It's like being on a permanent vacation. How do you support yourself and your wife at such a young age? I get that you saved/prepared for 5 years but that will only get you so many years into the future without replenishing your Storehouse.
