Filipina wives are so organize. They can take care of everything like cleaning, doing the laundry and cook food for the family. You are so lucky for having a Filipina wife.Common trait of a Filipina ia being submissive to their husband, kindhearted and family oriented.

Not always I am a Filipina but I have my moods too and lazy times. We do care for our kids though, there are a lot of Filipino movies about kids becoming bad because of bad parenting which make us Filipinas behave when it comes to our kids. Saying that we are submissive to our husbands is not true all the time, there are plenty of tiger Filipinas out there but we definitely are very religious and prayerful.

Probably it's a simple house by American standards but it's certainly a grand abode by Philippine standards. It will look more so once it is finished.
My only comment is that the regular pattern of the floor tiles laid out uniformly is making the faux marble more faux looking. Otherwise, everything is looking awesome and very well thought and planned. Maybe you should set up a construction firm specializing in building houses for expats. Congrats and more power!!

Please don’t keep apologizing for not having everything buttoned up. You’re here now so relax a bit. Now as far as the water pump goes. I have found a few albums that are DC and not AC so they will runoff of solar panels during the day and fill up the tank. I believe that may be a better way to go but I will have more information after at least 90 days converted.

Actually not very often. Either way we have a second breaker box designated to the generator for when it does happen.

Excellent video. My wife and I are also building in the Philippines (we are halfway finished) and we will retire there in December. You touched on everything I was most concerned about. Security, generators, solar panel system, and contingency plans. My wife, just like yours, is concerned about other things. 🤨 Anyway, still debating whether to ship balikbayan boxes from New York or just buy from Lazada ph just to save on time and shipping charges. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for watching and let me know if you have any questions. I plan on doing an entire video just on security/safety. I’m not going to do a video on the solar until after installed and I’m happy with it. I don’t want to promote a company before they’re done in case anything fails lol

Never knew such a thing existed. Or those scented bathroom plastic roll bags. Even the plastic hangers are on another level

When I go home , I bring my old clothes and leave it behind the hotels or Airbnb and I leave a note, throw or give away . I don’t bring home my laundry home.

Thank you very much for the information. Did you ever check into shipping household items via container? I have things like washer/dryer that I spent good money on that I’d like to keep. I’m wondering if getting other items here in the U.S. to bypass the hassle in the Philippines. Again great presentation and thank you.

You could get shipping codes from LBC on those items, but I personally only ship things over that I could fit in a box. If they’re valuable, they’re probably still worth it as your options are limited over here.

Regarding solar and generators. I’m looking on the possibility of buying Tesla batteries from junkyards . Tesla batteries should be able to hold lots of charges and cost from junkyards should be reasonable.

@@ItsMe_Philippines spoke to someone who rides a Mustang with a Tesla running gear and battery. This guy fabricates his Trikes but this is his 1st electric vehicle . He paid $20k for the motors and battery + other stuffs he needed for conversion . Tesla is so popular that I think junks will be readily available and batteries might actually be cheaper.
