Just picked this one up as my first gurlain bottle and I was instantly blown away. Classy sweetness not saccharine. The suede gives it the perfect amount of masculinity to balance that sweet almond/tonka. I have now smelt the whole ideal line. I'm partial to the new extreme as well as the cologne. I like the EDP but I don't think it's too unique. AC not only are you helping me to discover new scents but your outlook on life has given me the confidence to become a better man as well as the courage to chase my dreams! I think I will have to go with Shalimar as my next guerlain dacant of discovery before I dive deeper into their niche line. Cheers!

The EDP is definitely my favorite. I get compliments quite often when I wear it! L'Intense is 2nd (I love incense, and that chili pepper note make it so interesting!). Extreme is 3rd, and the EDT is 4th. As you said, the EDT has limited wearability. I've warn them all to work! lol Great review... Again! lol
Great review, AC. I have L’Homme Ideal Cologne, and it’s probably the only L’Homme Ideal flanker that I can pull off. EDP was much too syrupy sweet for my skin, and I don’t like tonka heavy fragrances, so I’ll probably pass on EDT. I find that in order to work on my skin, sweet notes have to be balanced out correctly by masculine ingredients like booziness, tobacco, spices, incense and leather, which is why I positively adore Bvlgari’s Man in Black line. Bentley For Men will probably be next on my list.

I have been going back and forth of which to buy.....Ideal EDT or Ideal EDP !!!...??? I own the Cologne...and actually like it alot.... I also own the Ideal Intense (black bottle).....but it is only average IMO. I am so excited to try the new flanker of Ideal Extreme!!

I agree and your tastes are mine. There 4 _u R extreme masculine and not trying to fake it over the top. You dont have to pretend to be a man in todays confused society
Edp was the first that I bought,but somehow,i like this one a bit more,although i think both are great(designer wise).And i think cologne is really really good,which you disagreed,but at the end,perfumes are so subjective,so there’s no point of arguing:)

@@mrxgaming7807 Sure, I have done a couple of videos on budget fragrances for Summer and Autumn so you can check them out. I would highly recommend Rasasi Al Wissam Day, its well within your budget or Montana Graphite which is also within your budget. I have reviewed both.
Unfortunately, this fragrance falls apart in the base, like most of Wasser's creations. But opening is marvelous, nothing could beat it. LIDG is a much better option imo, even the new version.

I own and reach for this quite often.After sampling this in retail, I purchased the 150 ml.bottle.And, my wife likes it also.

AC , Guerlain EDC is one of my favourite though flat i kove the smell great for summer. Great review of EDT which I am looking forward to sample
In your kind of weather conditions I can imagine the cologne doing quite well Himanshu.

Having owned Cologne - which I also disliked - and Ideal EDP, the EDT is still my favorite, and I'm either going to pick it or Extreme up soon.

You are quite right Robert, the EDT and the EDP are great and yeah unfortunately, the Cologne didn't work for me.
