Got my 1725 today, arrived at my office. The scent is Royal, as you described. It does not project like crazy, therefore it is suitable for office environment. Gives me that Fougere type of fragrance with some soapy drive at the opening. Overall very satisfied. Managed to pick it up for 80$, so happy with it.

As i've heard APOM will be rereleased on August 12th indeed. Now FK has to bring back Absolue pour le soir also. Did you ever tried Oltremare Bois1920 or Aqua Sextius by Jul et Mad?

This reviewer is spot on about Bal d’afrique, it is truly a signature scent for life and one can rock it even in winter. I love this scent dna so much that I had to purchase similar from other houses. First Contralto by Sospiro, then Hanuman by Boadicea The Victorious. Both lasts longer on the skin, the latter being the longest. But you cannot go wrong with any, just spray to your heart’s content knowing the scent is inoffensive!

Got to have Nio and Acqua Viva for the summer. The Italians just know how to make summer scents.

Got to try that Lancome one, I have Jasmins Marzipane from that line also like to wear it on summer really high quaiity, one that I can recommend you to try is Estee Lauder Tuberose Gardenia It is a Floral feminine but on me it becomes woodier fresh, really amazing beast mode freshie for me.

Nice review, AC . I'm wearing a sample today, and pulled the trigger on a FB. I also own the EDT and EDP. Redundant? Yes, perhaps. Unique ? Definitely. (No need to overspray vAnd takes a several wearings to truly appreciate !) But the EIV goes in another direction. ("Rounded" ) Your flowers are absolutely gorgeous. Perfect specimens. I'm curious what your impression of the H24 EDP might be? I bought the EDT extremely early in my fragrance journey, about 4 years ago now, when I was living in Ukraine. I bought it because its weirdness was just appealing enough, a dash of quirky daring but still with enough "niceness" as not to be outright off-putting. BUT, then the EDP came out and, for me, the EDP achieved what the EDT had ju-u-ust not managed. The EDP retained the EDT's "DNA" including its mischievous quirkiness, but it added what I can only call class, substance, dare I say even a heightened self-respect. I liked the EDT but I love the EDP. Not every day but when the day and the mood are right, the EDP is a real winner to me.

Oh yes, Beach Hut Man. I will NEVER forget the day when, still very new to all this, I opened up a sample I'd bought and took a sniff. I was both transported and in shock. Felt like I'd never in my life smelled anything so transcendent: "This has to be the best fragrance ever created in human history!" (I've calmed down a bit since then 😏). I don't imagine I'll ever spring for a full (expensive) bottle, especially as it's not something that could be a signature scent or "dumb reach", but I'd always like to have a sample at the ready for just those summer days when the weather and plans are just perfect for it. It's really a work of magic and genius.

I purchased a bottle of Colonia Essenza after watching your review of it, and it's a fantastic, classy fragrance that I'll wear to most more formal occasions, thanks to the perennially hot weather here. The rose, citrus, and neroli combination is a knockout.

Just starting to watch this and wondering whether perchance you might bring up a really unique summery fragrance I'm wearing today and just love. But maybe it's not officially "niche," even though its vibe is niche to me. It's Hermes Un Jardin à Cythère. Exquisitely summery, richly fragrant, totally resisting every stereotype of "summery."

Lately im really enjoying Fleur D'Oranger 27 and Bergamote 22, hate the price but love the blend and quality

I feel that the Guerlain is Wasser's reaction to the aquatic and blue fragrances that were popular at the time. Polo Blue, Issey, ADG, Green Irish Tweed, Missoni wave. I think he saw what they market wanted but decided to do a 'Guerlain' version, creating a cool, watery accord using natural smelling ingredients rather than ingredients with no reference to nature such as calone, or uber strong melon or citrus. As someone who likes 'cool' fragrances but dislikes the synthetic, fruity notes, Guerlain Homme was a revelation. The only other fragrance of this category I can enjoy is a very unusual one, Aramis New West, which builds a cool blue fragrance using bitter herbs not unlike yatagan, with very little sweetness. Highly recommend you try that one, it is absolutely unique.

Lalique Lion Pour Homme is just superb. The fact it began in 1997 and is still as relevant for any real man today, is amazing. My go to for 20 years.

Beautiful bottle & juice AC, just sampled this a few days ago, on spraying this reminded me of Kouros but in a soapy way, then branching out to give off Farenheit vibes, from mid to the end it somehow reminded me of Grey Flannel without retro elements, this perfume is complex for sure, great review 👍🏻
