Ensenada has been such a safe place to go. It's a very nice community as long as you treat the people with respect it's always been a good place It will affect the people themselves greatly because they really make a living off of the tourism and they don't want people to be afraid to come. It's so sad that this would happen and probably shouldn't really be a reflection of the true community.
But it is a reflection of the community, because they were murdered by members of the community. These men just went to surf, I doubt they started the altercation that would then end in their murder. Just horrible.

I lived in border town, every time we went to get groceries in Mexico , my six year old daughter would cry the whole time even though I tried to point out all nice things , she would still cry because she was afraid of dying, I didn't know where she got this idea, as result we didn't make as many trips as I wanted. Maybe it was her guardian angels warning her not to.
Its a sickening feeling. I went over to Tamalipas & went no more than 200 feet into mexico. I ate & hurried back across the border. Cops holding machine guns didnt help💀
To AJ Santana - I’ve visited Mexico many times when things were far safer. Imagine the comfort murdered Callum & Jake’s parents feel by hearing ‘2 million visit safely’. And if that’s so, why are Baja locals out marching with signs demanding to feel secure.
Stopped going in 1997, got stopped by military with semi weapons, that did it for me. The bribes hadn’t done it, montezuma’s revenge didn’t do it, but it’s not worth DYING for. It’s way too dangerous.
Love how the attorney general blames the families, they didn't report them missing fast enough? This isn't something new, this shit has been happening.
That’s what gets me people can’t learn from other peoples misfortune they’re just ignorant and put themselves in a bad situation because they’re so naïve they think it could never happen to them
The Mexican police & the FBI are "investigating", well then we'll never find out what really happened. Need to spend private investigators working with private counterparts in Mexico are needed.
Coming to an American town near you...The culture of violence in Mexico is charging over the Southern border every day. Imagine running into people like this if you got a flat on a highway at night in a remote area. Check out the South Dakota AG website and there's an article on the sentencing of 3 people in their 20s. Three people, 2 men who illegally entered and 1 woman, evaded police in a high speed chase while smuggling heroin, fentanyl and meth up to SD. Then they wanted a different car so they waited and at night carjacked the next vehicle that came by. It was driven by an unarmed FBI employee. They then decided to kidnap him (at gunpoint of course). Then they drove to a gas station and bought zip ties and a 5 gallon gas can, presumably to burn the victim after they murdered him, and maybe the car. The victim made a break for it and made it to the gas station store where they called the authorities and the 3 were arrested. They were all sentenced to 20+ years. Now we get to pay for them and they'll be free in their 40s to enjoy the rest of their lives how they see fit. This is what open borders brings us.
Shame Mexico. Clearly from the comments Mexico has become a lawless and very dangerous country. They need to do more about it ! Poor kids gone over the tyres of their pick up truck. As an Australian myself, I understand every country has its risks but with so many deaths happening in the one place more needs to be done to protect visitors that choose these locations to visit. My prayers to the families of all 3. They were all larger than life. May they rest in peace.
If you go south of Maneadero, just be advised that you will be watched by people who see that you have things that they don't have, and these are people who will not give 2 shts about you, your life, your stuff, or your family. There are definitely predators around, and they are looking for easy targets. I used to live in the Ensenada area, and there were definitely things I would not do, places I would not go. A male mexican friend and I went south one day on a rock hunting expedition. We ended up on a very remote beach. There were a couple of very poor fishermen there, and my friend made it a point to share whatever we had with us (our lunch) then advised me we should get out of there, that it wasn't safe. Our vehicle was parked above us on the mesa. It was the only vehicle around. I don't know if the fishermen told him it was unsafe, or if he got a vibe from them, anyway, going remote places, unless you are in a BIG group, is unwise. RIP surfers. Sucky way to go.
Back in the 60's my parents took us to Baja many, many times for short trips. We lived in SoCal and never gave it a thought. Couldn't pay me enough to go back.

They don't do ransoms that often. It causes too much attention.
they could have also put up a fight and things turned bad
This is not the first time tourists have been terrorised by the natives. The last time it was a couple.
You can't blame the whole country for what a few idiots do, not everybody in Mexico is a murderer just like not everybody in United States is a liberal!
I don't get the denial. Do they just throw it in the "shark attack" drawer and plow on down to Mexico, their life be damned? I'm actually a surfer and I'm scared for them. When is it too close, when there is a gun in your face and a knife at your neck?
the chance of you dying in a car accident is much higher than a tourist getting killled in mexico. Chance of dying goes way up if you ride a motorcycle...
Are you afraid getting in a car too?
According to this report, nothing to worry about, it’s totally safe there and that type of thing never happens there..😳🤦♀️🥶
I’m feel very sad for this men. Can’t imagine how the brothers acted on their final time. 😞😞😞
Go to Siargao Philippines a surfing capital of this country. Friendly people to all foreigners . It is very popular place.
''how they acted on their final time"....i wasn't there but i'd say it would be safe to assume there would have been shit in their underwear and lots of it
Oh yeah go fly 16 hours to a third world country where it's SO SAFE lmao
As a Mexican American this makes me upset and sad. Tourists and the people in Mexico need to be protected more.
Blessed are those that mourn for they will be comforted
RIP 🪦 BOYS F##KING TRAGIC!!
Just horrible.
my prayers to the parents who lost two sons ....absolutely tragic. jesuschrist these young men have too much to lose and died in the hands of ... oh how sad.
She was getting bad vibes.
Its a sickening feeling. I went over to Tamalipas & went no more than 200 feet into mexico. I ate & hurried back across the border. Cops holding machine guns didnt help💀
@@willc5512gang cops in mexico naturally carry machine guns also you went to a border town what do you expect of course theres military there 🤦🏾♂️
Perhaps murdered in Mexico in a previous lifetime a victim of cartel violence
Children are wise.
Disgusting smh.
I am absolutely crushed about this situation 😭
To me, it was the cops but they found scapegoats
Exactly what I was thinking
How would they find them in a well so fast if it was random
Someone else had the same theory maybe a shakedown by cops not everyone just has a gun
they found 4 bodies the other is believe to be the owner of the well
How sad!! 😢
wrong
the 4th body has nothing at all to do with the other 3!
@@EliasPfaiffer yeah but they were found together..
@@Wheresmycoffee1624th body was more decayed and been down there longer than the three men.
Soo sad... Was followng this story and hoping for the best. Condolences to all the families.
My heart and prayers to their families, this is so horrible and I cannot wrap my mind around it. Really shocked and now extremely aware
This so sad 😞
IT'S NEVER SAFE TO GO ANYWHERE IN MEXICO.
To AJ Santana - I’ve visited Mexico many times when things were far safer.
Imagine the comfort murdered Callum & Jake’s parents feel by hearing ‘2 million visit safely’. And if that’s so, why are Baja locals out marching with signs demanding to feel secure.
“It will never happen to me” is always the last word
My Condolences to the family and friends 💐💐
Went down there in the 80's, San Felipe and Ensenads. Good times camping and four wheeling. Wouldn't go back now.
I'm literally crying 😢My prayers go out to their families ❤
My heart goes on.
what a weenie
I’m sure your prayers will change everything.
Really really sad.❤❤
Stopped going in 1997, got stopped by military with semi weapons, that did it for me. The bribes hadn’t done it, montezuma’s revenge didn’t do it, but it’s not worth DYING for. It’s way too dangerous.
Yeah and the shake-downs that go on when traveling anywhere Mexico
Prayers and strength for the families.
condolences. Life is precious. be smart. Thoughts are with the families and friends. broadcasting those saying its not risky is foolish.
We have friends that go deep into mexico to surf. We tell them get a brain it is just a matter of time.
Love how the attorney general blames the families, they didn't report them missing fast enough? This isn't something new, this shit has been happening.
Report early and be told to back off to 48 hours. The AG shifting blame proves not much energy will go to this case.
Which AG ? Mexican ?
@ryand141 Yeah the Baja one, in another video she said that.
@@thekidcambo781 I wouldn't trust any of them. All on the payroll of drug traffickers.
Yep but they don’t blame the insane immigration on their own governmental failures, guess people just want to flee for a different view 😅. Just trash
Shook us up but we are ignorant enough to still go down there and risk our lives.
"Unanswered questions," like why you won't say they were murdered?
SIck :(
RIP good Fella's😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
It’s a shame it’s such a beautiful area. I was I. The area south of ensañada 40:years ago. They just said don’t travel at night on the main road.
I'll stay my ass out of Mexico forever. No desire to go there unless we swap countries, and maybe we should.
You swap. We'll wait here and watch your back.
Come to Australia 🇦🇺 🫠❤️
Not even Cabo or Yucatán Peninsula ?
@@user-uj5ly1eq5n no. He's coming to Australia ❤️
Swap countries? What does that even mean?
Es la realidad de México aquí no hay ley y los delincuentes salen libres de la cárcel
Why visit there when we got Mexico here? Doesn't make any sense. Even Mexicans don't want to live there. That tells you everything.
These idiot surfers saying they'd still go to Baja probably vote for an open border as well.
Your a A hole
Back in the 60's my parents took us to Baja many, many times for short trips. We lived in SoCal and never gave it a thought. Couldn't pay me enough to go back.
What a horrible thing, what a tragedy 😔 my condolences to the families. I pray for justice for your loved ones and may God give you strength to endure this difficult time in your life. ❤️🙏❤️
I'll never understand this kind of situation. You don't have to smoke somebody to Rob them
exactly but theres probably more to the story
@@novadhd Word is they resisted.
Evil is evil
If only Mexico had armed guards with assault weapons and iron gates surrounding all the surf spots. Seems to work most of the time in Cabo around the expensive resorts. Oh, they're having a paddle out near Ensenada in honor of the murder victims? Bring a Kevlar wetsuit.
They do have armed guards called the Cartel each Cartel protect there own territory.
Have you ever wondered why is there so much violence in Mexico is because of Cartels competition the opposing one wants to take over the others territory
Also do not draw attention to yourself.
Yah Ok lady ... I'm sure you're headed down now SMH ya'll better quit thinking the Cartel is playing around
This winter in Quartzsite AZ they had day long workshops on how to travel Baja. For nomads and RVers their still all GA-GA about going down to that place. Yes some travel together but sorry the place looks like crap wherever they stop. And usually some point in their videos there is the big Shake-Down by the you-know-who's. Yep nomads/Vanlifers and RVers will still be making their videos broadcasting its all good..... all safe down here....... No thanks.....
Everyone knows better than to go to Mexico .. especially camping in deserted areas??? Hell no!! Sorry for their families but everyone should know better than to go to Mexico!!
No tourism for the Cartel country!😈
There was a 4th body in the well also, not part of the group!
Cartels?
more like small time thugs looking for a quick buck. Cartels know it's bad for business to kill Gringos.
no. Cartels would have taken the truck and used it. Just meth head robbers.
@@sbdreamintrue
Not cartel, wannabes and or posers. They call them bajadores. A grupos of idiota poslng as cartel and or federales. Trying to make a quick buck. And if your unlucky well it will go this far.
But those that are guilty if found will perish from actual cartels.
Family from sinaloa, I get alot of 411..
Rip to them
@@robmora2703 True, it's not always the actual cartel members but big time wannabes trying to be like the big boys.
Did these surfers really not bear arms for self defence? What were they thinking?
well are they going to pack heat in the swim trunks? . Also how easy is it to bring that across border legally>?
Goodbye to tourism in Mexico,
Oh oh
Mexico was never "safe" but at times the fun has out weighed the risks...Knowing the dangers, taking the risks with all thats been going on with the cartel lately...you take your chances, you suffer the consequences of desparate people in a desparate land.. Some of those hombres will kill you for a few dollars.... the surf in northern baja isnt good enough to be worth losing your life .. anyplace north of san quintine is in the danger zone..keep driving south, of better yet save your money and go somewhere that offers good vibes & tastier waves.
For just a freaking tires!!!! What a cruel world...
Imagine 3 adults like that gets murdered thats scary
Last time I was down there several months ago restaurants only took cash because of the cartels, I guess because of extortion?
Exact! And it seems their Prez approves.
This is so sad. But why am I not surprised.
Large groups, large groups, stay close. Don’t wonder off. Don’t except offers of "drink with us my amigo" yes ,this could happen and does, everywhere.
Stay away from these dangerous places that are notorious for ongoing criminal activity. I stopped going there 40 years ago because of the crime. Deepest deepest condolences for the families of the victims. I hope the monsters who snuffed their lives out are brought to justice and pay for their abominable actions.
I’m surprised cruise ships 🚢 still dock in Ensenada it’s not only not safe but a complete dump
Sooooo basically they are committing suicide???
Next we'll see their missing poster on the news.
