Jesus brings us spiritual comfort. Jesus brings us joy and hope, knowing that He removed all of our sins at Calvary. If you need some teaching on the matter, the you tube channel, 'faith cometh by hearing' has a fine teaching series titled, 'change of mind' which helped me understand the matter.
Your collections and presentations make me look up the origins of some titles and the 14th. Century origins of "Christ is Risen". I'm becoming more knowledgeable about 18th. Century hymns as well. What we sang in Parochial School choir was more classical - Schubert, Franck, and Mozart. No Bach, unfortunately. From Chicago. U.S.A.
