Swimmers at Acalanes High School in Lafayette have been hit by a wave of disappointment and frustration after they learned that they won’t be able to swim in a critical competition this weekend. Christie Smith reports.

What they failed to mention was the coach waited until the last day in the morning to submit the names and the deadline was that afternoon. He even said this on another news interview. It's the coach's fault for waiting till the last day. If he submitted weeks in advance then they wouldn't have this problem. Stupid coach

Bro educate before commenting, swimmers have their championship meet day before the deadline. Times need to be exact and precise when entered therefor he HAS to wait until the day before. Stupid comment.

Other schools seemed to have no issue. The coach just decided to go hunting for moose or something that weekend.
