- Creality's successor to the Ender 3 V2 - is it going to be as huge?
Full review coming soon, initial observations make this look quite formidable in the budget printer market.

They definitely priced it right! I think companies like Sovol really pushed them to improve the machine and keep the price low. We love to see it.
This printer should be called other than ender 3, an ender 3 couldn't pull off such a first layer even after mods 😂 let alone out of the box.
Hahaha it can't be an ender 3 unless you have to spend 4 hours tuning it
It's a joke that they have the other machines at similar prices on the market.
@@LostInTech3D4 hours before each print lol
Personally, my ender 3 S1 could do it out of the box. Though I might've received a unit from an universe where they make it differently
My ender 3 s can do those perfect first layers consistently, all manually levelled (stiffer spring though)
Lmao this print speed! You have more patience then me!
Right! After getting a Bambu P1S I could never live with this speed.
@@chadhowell1328 @aydenhanlon1674 i have one, it is slow on the first layer, but it can do 200mm/s easy
I love mine it’s got issues but for simple home organization prints it’s been awesome
Please elaborate before I purchase one. I currently have a v2 with minor mods that I’m getting sick of.
Mine makes a weird clicking noise at fast fine movements haven’t been able to figure it out but it prints tpu pla and petg perfect with little to no issues
@@uptown.mycology9928I've had mine for 8 months (basically since its release) and I've had leveling issues with the crtouch. It just wouldn't calibrate. And I've gotten 2 jams in the last 2 weeks
I've had mine for 3 days, and it is my first 3d printer. It's been easy to work with and I've only had a few bad prints due to errors on my end with learning to use supports.
I have an Ender 3 S1 that printer sounds just as good for about $130 less then I paid for my S1.
Yeah not sure what this means for the s line
@@LostInTech3D its s line killer
I've got it, and it's awesome.
I hate their naming convention. Just call it the ender 4 already 😂
Same here, but I understand why it's ender 3.
The 3 is their most popular printer. So when people search for one to buy they will see this printer in thier searches for 30-50 more then the other ender 3s. And with the added features they will probably buy this one. It's an old marketing tactic. But yeah, who ever named it ender 3 v3 se should be fired. Would have been better without the v3
Great points made, Please compare this to other printers around this budget ( Neptune 4, Anycubic new Kobra 2 series just announced...etc etc......)
I got a Neptune 4 and it’s not even fair to compare it to an ender 3
@@tannerwatson1216 really? You're saying its bad then?
@@andymeenanvideosjust got my Neptune 4 and it’s so much better than any ender 3 it’s not even funny

The new default printer, huh ;)
planning to buy this thanks for revieiving it
No problem 😁
I am definitely getting it
The bed has linear rods**
haha not again
@@LostInTech3D Haha, sorry for pointing it out. Cool you have one in for review, looking forward to seeing what you think of it
Best verdion of the ender 3
still working with an ender 3 pro for the money they are amazing
Still using my Ender 3 v1 from 5 years ago, with upgraded dual z, and cr touch. Prints like a freaking champ.
Love my Ender 3 Pro, it actually does better prints than the SE, just slower and louder lol. Not to mention the bed leveling is a farce on the SE, especially if you have high and low spots on your bed. Still a decent "beginner" 3D printer.
the 4.2.7 silentboard upgrade will make it really silent. best upgrade ive evere done. can fall asleep next to it.
@@Charlesbjarvis
I started with an Ender 3 V2 four years ago, but after having a Bambu P1S for a couple weeks, I don't see myself buying anymore Enders.
Ahh damn, after 3 years i brought out my ender stock 3 v2 again... in this two months already spent about $200-300 to upgrade most things only to achieve about 80% what this new model has... wth...
Then if you upgrade look at the ELEGOO Neptune 4 it is insane for the price you won’t regret it
I bought mine used in pieces in a cardboard box at a rummage shop. It's more consistent than my cr-10 😂
What is shown in the advertisement is certainly cool. But what is not shown is usually crap. And personally, the transition to cylindrical shafts repels me. I work on a farm with 30+ Ender3s and the wheels perform well in such harsh conditions. They do not play, and they are cheap (although in a year and a half of daily use, I have not yet changed them) and they do not need to be lubricated.
See, I said this about wheels. Everyone thinks wheels are bad.
@@LostInTech3DI've got a 5 year old Ender 3 v1 that pretty much prints 24/7, and I've never had any issues with the rollers. I would imagine from my experience with linear rails on different systems, that over time if not kept clean, the rails jamming from gunk buildup, will present issues.
I got the v2 like a week before this was released for the same price. Oh well mine works great so cant compain
Love love love this printer, just replaced my first nozzle and replaced it with the same one. But oddly now i have layers shifting and stringing out of no where. So im thinking its the nozzle i just dont how or why this would effect those. Any info would help
Damn after I get my elegoo 3 max i might pick that up next
The elegoo 4 series is better trust me
Omg and I just bought the ender 3
the only issue im having is the flow seems to be a bit off with Creality's base profiles
That's actually not unusual, I noticed a lot of printers overextrude as standard
I wish creality would put linear rails on every axis. -_- I hate the rollers.
Where was this video before I just bought my Ender 3 V2 😭😭😭
You probably spent less than $200 so chill
@@krollmond7544 yeah. 212 to be exact, but in India the situation is different. These are important investments
@@its_jvyn oh ok, my b
I finally want to get my first 3D printer and likely an Ender 3, but I just can‘t decide on a specific model…! For older models there are more videos and ressources and newer models have better specs but less good ratings. Help me please?! 3 Pro or 3 S1 or which model should I get?
the newer machines are categorically better from a calibration point of view, I would not wish an ender 3 with manual bed leveling on anyone in 2023. S1 still needs z offset calibrating, but it does have auto bed mesh. The Ender 3 pro would not be a good choice as it has none of these and is pretty ancient now. I would go with V3 SE tbh. The S1 is nice but the V3 SE is newer, fully automated and has better menus/UI. The CR10 SE is the same - full auto leveling. Far easier to calibrate.
@@LostInTech3D thank you!!
@@LostInTech3D I went for the Ender-3 V3 SE... I'm kinda nervous and excited. Let's hope it's worth it!
Yeah the low price and more features is all thanks to Bambu Labs printers. Bambu Labs made their competition step up their game. This new Ender 3v3 will be a great budget printer for people starting off. With the auto leveling it’ll be great for kids too. Someone needs to market these to kids cause Toybox printers are $300 and are the WORST printer to exist.
Man how much is BL paying y'all? I hope you are getting paid. Y'all are in every comment section about 3d printers. Nobody asked!
Finally a printer to compete with elegoo
Okay at this point they need to move on from ender 3, for one they've had it for a while. two there are too many of them, trying to search for assistance on a specific version of the ender 3 leaves you with a deluge of all of the others, I have a neo I never find help for the actual neo it's always for one of the others which most of the time is helpful until you have a question about the CR touch and then none of them have that, or you want assistance with something that is specific with the neo like when I had questions about its firmware. At this point either move on to four or find a new naming scheme.
Say goodbye to my v2!!! This is awesome. Just adding the 2nd z screw, cr touch, linear rails and better hotend to my v2 is pointless. Better off spending 200 bucks for the v3. Just hope the full review says good things about it.
Before you go buy that take a look at the elegoo Neptune 4 that came out it is absolutely how much it has to offer for $250 it is 100% worth it
It's not bad for $200, but I'd easily recommend the Kobra 2 or Neptune 4 and 4 Pro instead
Does the Kobra 2 have auto z? I'm really not in the anycubic zone at all, somehow
@@LostInTech3Dya but the Neptune does and it has klipper, 500mm/s top speed, built in lights, wireless printing.
@@tannerwatson1216there's too much ambiguity and false info in your comment, Neptune 4 only have bed leveling and not auto Z.
Also Neptune 4 isn't Wifi Enabled out of the box unless you attach a wifi adapter to it.
Dude I swear I spend 200 on a used any cubic i3 mega s and I regret it
I may be wrong, but isn't the strain gauge located under the bed in this printer?
You are correct 😁
I have an older completely stock ender2 V2 that I really haven't gotten much use out of. Is it still worth upgrading that? Or buying one of these?
...both? :)
@@LostInTech3D pffft
That's fair! I mean maybe I could sell my ender2 instead?
How does this stack up to something like the sovol sv05/06? I was eying up both of those machines but now I'm super torn!
oh man, technology just keeps on going forwards, I'm a huge fan of the full auto leveling...but bear in mind the sv06 has a better bed out of the box, so you prolly will have to stump up for a PEI sheet on this one.
@@LostInTech3D which one do you think has a better extruder?
Me too, but I grew really fond of my Ender 3 v2 so I'll might me going for the v3
And it had alignment screws for the bed sheet.
no it doesnt?
False
hes talking about the notchs in the back for the pei sheet@@LostInTech3D

how about in philippines they have sale and they can ship? how much it cost?
top right of the page there's a country selector but you'd have to ask them about Philippines, prolly check aliexpress, I understand it's on there now.
Does this model has linear advance (pressure advance) from factory?
not in the menus, it might be in the firmware
I don't know a v2 is a $100 can't beat that
A little confusing you said there is no z offset , but I have the same printer and you do need to set the z offset.
watch the full review, you don't.
@@LostInTech3D I have the printer and you do have a z offset
@@oscargutierrez970it has one but sets it automatically

Can someone help it is crashing
Could you swap the bed for a glass bed, thanks for any info
should be able to - I'll be testing with a PEI bed probably
@@LostInTech3D
Thanks, just wondered cos has it got retainer clips on the back of the heat plate.
Pretty cool but it’s a Creality
Should I return my ender 3 V2 neo for this?
That's your call. I never really got into the neo series
@@LostInTech3D the neo is very good, but I am guessing that the newer ender 3 V3 SE is better
Bed warp over time?
We can mod our ender 3 v2 with these linear rails for less than $30
But no linear Y, no dual Z, and the V2 has a manual bed leveling. Those 3 are huge, plus the sprite extruder found on the S1 models
It's the bed replaceable with pei?
Should be, I'll probably try it because removing that test print was.... tedious 🤣
Specs seem great on paper but i cant get over how ugly it looks compared to the Ender 3 V2
Mine broke after a month board completely destroyed
uh... it has a cr touch... not a strain guage...
It has both, the cr touch doesn’t determine z offset it never has just bed mesh, literally says it in video
is kipper based?
No, this one is marlin. There is a klipper based version called ender 3 v3 KE 😁
No more clones NO MORE
NO MORE AAAAAA
this is not linear rails on bed,
DAMN, BETTER THEN THE V2 BUT CHEAPER????
well the V2 was released like 3y ago so...yeah :)
@@LostInTech3D that's just so crazy to me. I bought a v2 2 years ago and got into printing. That's such a good idea to include that into printers. I ended up putting a bl touch on mine back then. I might look into the V3 since I got a buddy about to start printing (:
You literally mentioned everything but the speed. Pretty slow
If only there were a full review linked in the video 👍
Looks like linier rods and not rails big difference.
Round linear rails are linear rails - go check the parts catalogues if you want.
@@LostInTech3Dwho’s catalogue? McMaster call them rods and rails. If it’s what creality calls them they are wrong. One should know not to trust them.
@@ExstazYes, linear rails are usually square, and linear rods are what this printer has. Rails would be more stable because they can't flex like rods can, but both would be susceptible to jamming over time if not kept clean.
VE FREE, ES FREE
Would like to correct you. The machine is not quiet, due to the faster print speeds the fan has to be bigger and louder. You can replace the fan, but havent seen any mods for it yet to be printed.
The build plate is complete crap, after 1 week i need a new pei plate because it was ruined as the prints would pull off the the textured surface. Get a smooth plate, works alot better
Savol is better and cheaper
Bru I bought the ender 3 almost a year ago for $200!! I got scammed lol 😂
Hah
@@LostInTech3D I have a quick question for you, do you know how to fix having to manually unspool the filament so it will extrude properly on the ender 3?
@@W1nsl0w_YTupgrade the filament spool holder first then diagnose the next problem
that shouldnt be necessary...figure out what the issue is, maybe extruder tension
@@LostInTech3D I FIXED IT!!!!
I actuallyyy dont like the fact you cant manually adjust the bed😏
You can manually adjust the mesh if you want
This is, unfortunately not even worth the price for what you get. You are getting a sub par machine with god awful QC. I used to recommend E3 printers for almost 5 years. I do not recommend any creality printers anymore.
Isnt all of this WAY inferior to the new Bambu stuff?
Bamboo is 4x as expensive.
Yeah. We're looking at $200 before discounts. That prolly gets you a bambu hotend. I like to also review affordable gear - not least because the majority of people actually have enders.
In pure specs, yes. But that's like comparing a dragster with a totally average commuter car
And isn't a Ferrari faster? Aren't space rockets more advanced than Ferraris? Isn't health better than illness?
@@Drumaiery'all really just compared having a Ferrari or a rocket or other "go fast vehicle" to "being healthy" in order to shill for an overpriced proprietary machine that's useless without an internet connection and WILL start printing on its own AND has even worse reliable support than the cheap one you're denigrating... Good job.
These are hands down some of the worst printers ever made. Period.
are you from the future?
Why, because you don't know how to properly use it?
Slow isn’t it.
🤔 first layer
@@LostInTech3D @ what 25mm/s 🥴
@@toddy9141250mm/s is it's max speed and working speed is 180mm/s. 200$ is the best price you can get for that speed since if you buy ender 3 stock and upgrade it to get that speed, you will fall somewhere between 250 to 300. I am talking about printer+upgrades equals that amount
