I've been a professional photographer during 15 years, working with Canon. I decided to change to Sony and now i feel completely lost with the menus. I feel really uncomfortable with this camera, cause i don't even know how to do absolutely nothing, it seems you have to be an aeronautic engineer to do basic things. Thanks for your video, now i know how to do some things.
Hang in there, I changed to Sony in 2015 from Canon and felt the same way. You will pick it up quickly. Now have 9 Sony's for visible and IR light.
@@rppnorthernrivers Thanks for your words! i did my first photoshoot with the new camera and the results were absolutely amazing. It's gonna take some weeks/months to have better control of the camera, but i am so happy with the Alpha 7 IV.

As someone who has never used a high quality camera before, and is looking into becoming a photographer, how long would you say it takes to get used to this camera? I just bought the camera yesterday, and have been learning the basics of photography for about a year now. I did my research on what this camera can do, and was excited to get it. Now playing around with it, I feel a bit overwhelmed haha.

I teach slower. Try to keep the pace up in CZcams videos so the video stays short.
How can we set Photo mode to record 1080p and Video mode to record 4k?

Nice video! I want to ask. What is better to take for reportage videos (weddings and various events): Sony a6400, a7 Mark 2 or Canon 90D? Budget up to $1700. Thanks in advance for the answer!
Depends on what you want to spend in the future. Full frame lenses (a7) will be more expensive than APS-C (a6400).
When you want the best in terms of price/performance ratio it’s a good choice to go with the 6400 and buy some good lenses e.g sigma art 1.4 or some 1.8 lenses.

Idk why the dial that have the lock doesn’t work, does it comes off or anything like that, I never use it cause I have my camera by default but if I try to use it just doesn’t do anything? Any help idk if there is any extra lock or something like that

Mt Sony A7IV is fairly new I used it a lot then took a break. Now when I take a photo it does not give me a playback image to look at. It did before and I am not finding the setting to turn it back on can you help me find this?
There is a playback feature in settings that turns the option off or on. I'd check that first.
You mean, focus hold button on a lens is similar to the back button focus?
