Recently upgraded from a 3070 to 4070 ti. The performance boost is quite good. My 9700k kind of bottle necks it though but I'm getting a new cpu and mobo in February

@@imtiaznawaz6367 well the super was confirmed a few weeks after getting the 4070 ti so there really wasn't much I could do there. Looking at the predicted price, the 4070 ti super is absurdly expensive.
Yeah should've waited a few weeks for the 4070 Ti super.. I'm waiting for the 4070 Ti super to upgrade from my 3070. It's basically just a slightly slower 4080, huge upgrade

This is a bit strange. Did you overclock the 3070's? How come 4000 series temps are higher than 3000 ones? It's one of the things that 4000 series stand out is the lower temps. I don't own a 4000's one but I own a 3070-ti and stock temps are on a average above 70 degrees (around 75 to be more precise), unless you overclock it. I might be wrong but to me it doesn't add up.

Can you leave out CPU-bound games like Cities Skylines because the only reason you are getting higher frame rates is because of the AMD R9 5900x, please?
I think GPU benchmarks should only consist of GPU-bound games. The game is also not very optimized currently as well but I do LOVE that they are pushing back all their DLC times in favor of Performance Optimizations.
My EVGA GTX 1080 SC handles Cities Skylines 2 without an issue but my i7-7700k gets hit very hard and is usually 95+% of utilization at 1080p.
To me, a CPU-bound game belongs in a CPU Benchmark and not a GPU Benchmark.
Yes, I do think it is a little helpful but most people do not own a AMD Ryzen 9 5900x or like Intel’s flagship CPU.
I am liking seeing the comparison of the RTX 4070 as I ordered one and waiting for it to arrive.

Esports games are the worst to test because they are designed to run on Potato PC’s, due to their low poly count and constant optimizations.
In 2016, you could play Overwatch on a Intel HD Graphics 630, on the Intel i7-7700k at 720p on the lowest settings and get 60FPS. Fortnight is very similar in low poly count and optimizations.
