Partial Transcript: "On Tap -- Ghost Scorpion
Hi, I'm James Knott and today we are drinking what the brewery claims is "The World's Hottest Beer". Ghost Scorpion Lager is brewed by the Elevator Brewing Company in Columbus, Ohio. It debuted last year at the Columbus Fiery Foods festival and some patrons actually vomited after drinking it.
The bottle says: "The Bhut Jolokia, or Ghost Chile and the Trinidad scorpion chile are the two hottest peppers on the planet, with both clocking in at well over 1 million scoville heat units! (More than 400 times hotter than a jalapeno!) By adding equal parts of these two powerhouse peppers to our classic German-style lager, we may have created 'The World's Hottest Beer!'"
They only brewed 100 cases for this year's limited release. Brewers had to hand bottle the beer because they were worried that this spicy beer might contaminate the bottling line. Hopefully we don't kill anybody in this blind taste test."
I feel like Chef is that one friend who takes himself waaaayyy too seriously and everyone else just laughs around him because they don't care. Every group has that one.
There will still be more videos but they probably won't be beer related. Sorry. Don't hate me. :(
I am glad I could introduce you to this beer!
1:53 "I always try..." I love you Joby-no-tens!
I remember hearing about people throwing up after having last year's batch. Haha probably a good thing you only gave everyone small pours of this. Rinsing out beer with beer haha. James (and I'm not exaggerating here), this may be one of my favorite episodes ever! Great job! Glad I wasn't there for this one though haha.
Wow! Crazy! I’ll have to try it if I could ever find it but I don’t know if I could handle it...Great show guys!
Good review guys. Cheers
Best episode ever
great video- I definitely want to try it
Can't believe you don't get more views!! Just discovered your channel, funny shit!!
Lol. We are growing those peppers for our hot sauce and while we make the sauce we drink beer... but we never thought to combine them... lol.
I enjoyed seeing the Lightning McQueen kids cups. These can also be found at my house.
Man, I'm gonna miss you guys.
Please dont retire! Please do more vids! Just put your videos out there more! You'll get more viewers!
Love the plastic Cars cups you guys used. ;)
Would love to. Too bad I retired from beer reviewing.
awesome fellows
great for some beer batter, or just bring out a bottle at a party and have a great time with everybody
Ryan, I have some people coming in for my daughter's wedding that like ghost peppers. I'd like to see if I can find some of this for them. I've had my fill!
I would like to make a mix of that to do some fried chicken wings.....or a beer batter for onion rings...yummy.
So last episode? Or if there's another one you guys should do a vertical taste of some great beer!
Gonna check out your Cave Creek Chili Beer review next. I thought that was pretty crappy - even though I liked the concept. My solution was to brew my own chili beer, which turned out pretty awesome - just spicy enough to make it interesting.
Two more episodes to post.
i WANT THIS BEER!
Well, i'd be sad too if you really quit. However, I won't blame you after discovering this specific brewery added an entire country into their recipe.
-_- beer WITH spicy foods and spicy foods IN BEER! -_-
Wow! I am surprised you did it blind!
it's a polarizing beer for sure.
Great episode! Truly awful beer. I can't ever remember anybody ever sweating as much as James did. James, I need to find a couple of these. Where can I get them?
Episodes like this is why I am gonna be sad when you stop posting new episodes.
I would like to see twisted pines ghost face killah side by side with this beer!
Well you guys haven't tried an even hotter one, "GHOST FACE KILLAH", 6 different "Hot Chili Peppers" in it, just can not drink it, I use it for making hot chili.
I'd pass on this beer but I got a friend I'd like to see drink this. He can do anything spicy without (seemingly) being phased.
Ready to give it another try Jeff?
I ran out of time and it was starting to be harmful to my health. I moving on to other projects that don't make me hungover.
Had the ballistpoint habenero beer and that was already too hot for me!
Where can i buy?
They should be having milk or something fatty to subside the pepper heat, and not water!
Beer bottle grilled chicken ghost face killah.
James if you quit i swear... ill...ill do something extreme lol.
HAHAHAHA! That's awesome.
not*
Also, I love beer and I love hot food but am not interested in combining
RICHARD DREYFUS!!!

Not everyone likes Pumking, I happen to enjoy pumpkin beers and think it's crap.
Turn this into a clamato!
it tastes like burning
+Brew:20 ha simpsons!
xD
Same here!! I will post an angry comment in his channel >:/
chef was getting super fucking annoyed
it's not really a beer... it's simply a hot pepper malt liquor. Sure, it's made with beer ingredients, fermented, etc... but beer, by common definition, is a beverage for drinking. This is not a drinkable beverage-- it's a malt liquor with nothing but heat on the tongue... probably great for cooking! Can't call it beer though.
The old guy looks like he's dying.
that guy had a stroke after this it was in tmz magazine
This guy doesn't like Southern Tier Pumpking???... he should see a doctor and probably not do beer reviews.
What's with the hats, come on you're in doors.
Skyrilla idiotic comment
