Mine goes to 155. It just has limiter you remove with tune
Here in México the Jetta GLI has another spec, the 2.0TSI with the 7speed DSG produces 230hp and 258lb-ft, 0-100km/h in 6.8 secs and the top speed is 240km/h, i don't know why this GLI has a limiter speed at 203km/h, probably because this is an US-spec, for México and Latin-America has the Euro Spec with the same suspension as the GTI, another tune for the engine and the front brakes are the same as the Golf R MK7
And the entertainment screen is 10 inches, apparently the equipment changes a lot

US spec have H rated all season tires on them rated up to 130Mph. They also slip when accelerating hard and taking a turn. Really should have been shipped with high speed and Summer tread.
In Brazil, top speed is 250km/h

How ist the handling after 130 km/h, I drive now a Jetta 7 1.4 tsi, smooth at low speed and very "jelly" handling after 130 km/h, I imported from USA.
US Market cars have an H rated all season tire on it from Hankook. Explains it all. top speed 130MPH on the H rated. 209 KHM.

I live in the U.S, particularly Florida and I wish drivers here moved over out of the left lane. I always go to the right most lane, it's a habit of mine unless I'm going faster and overtaking and no one is behind me. But we have so many traffic backup issues because of slow drivers blocking both lanes and it's very annoying.

This is sad. GLI in USA starts at 20k$ new and they are not for EU. :/

US cars are shipped with H rated all season tires.
If you pay attention, this vehicle displays MPH ( mile per hour), 125 mph is about 200. This car can do 160 MPH.
top speed is so bad.

you realize that is mile not km right?
@@natehiger410 yeah, there is also a km/h sign which shows that the top speed is about 210 km/h. that's pretty fast but still very slow when considered this car has a 2.0 228hp petrol engine.
