it's called the night we met, because that was the first night clay felt like he really met Hannah. In that moment you could see the images fly through his mind of a family, or a future with her. But life happened and Hannah couldn't handle being the grenade in his life . . .
The night we met is a tragic love story, and I can feel the music tonight. thank you
Jenifer Sisler Actually, The Night We Met came out TWO years BEFORE 13 reasons why, the show only popularized it. The song is perfect for the show but it was not created for it.
And I'm crying once again. I can't listen to any instrumental versions of this song without crying. Like, without the lyrics, I'm much more in tune with the song and all the feels that comes from it just... grrrr... it sucks. Yet it's such a beautiful thing to listen to. You did wonderful with this piano cover. Great job!
