  • There's a lot of low flying in this video. I do NOT recommend it. Fly high and safe because stuff happens.

I believe this to be the best ultralight plane out there. It has great looks, safe and proven put the parachute on the plane and make it even more safe the price at around $20000 a real bargain and the performance is great also you have a few engine choices. All n all for what you get this is the BEST ultralight out there. GOD BLESS

Merrill Isaacson, I was curious about how much aileron authority the Aerolite 103 has. You compared it to a Cessna 150, which I've flown and it has good aileron authority. My only real life flying experience with ultralights was with a Challenger. The Challenger that I flew did not have good aileron authority thus turns were made mostly by rudder, instead of coordinated aileron/rudder turns as in most GA planes. Also, how does the Aerolite 103 handle winds, say 10 knots? Nice video!

I gotta stop watching these Aerolite flight videos. I'll end up buying one...

1:37 I think it unwise to fly such a shallow descent profile on base and final over that swamp. Are you not able to "slip" the Aerolite to achieve steep descent? If note, how about mount a solid panel in the rear structure to offer wind resistance when slipping.

Looks like a blast. I have my glider rating and am looking for an ultralight.
Not crazy about the yoke, but this thing is much nicer looking than a quicksilver.

can not go wrong with this one. I'm not a stick or tail wheel guy. Transition into this from Cessna's was easy. I think it flys much like a light 150.

I have a 2006 Aerolite 103 with new Kawsaki440A fan cooled engine never flown yet engine broken in. What mix ratio do i use 32:1 and how much do you weigh I'm 200. I'm concerned about thrust have a 60" prop 3blade composite material with 14degree pitch. Do think it is enough to get of ground?
